Hi there, im having the same issue and i tried installing the link that you put there but it says that i have the latest version already. Is the any other solutionplease, thanks in advance..
Hello. Installed on a laptop windows 10 x64. as well as all the drivers. But the screen brightness adjustment does not work. neither in the panel, nor with the buttons, nor in the settings. HP support assistan does not help.
when I stream TV and have the net-adapter/power cable attached the screen zooms extremly. Goes for both explorer and chrome. When running on battery the resolution and zoom is fine. My own idea is that we sometimes use the notebook with a HDMI cable to he TV and that some settings are saved? How do I solve this?
I have HP 240G2 laptop with windows 10, 64 bit. Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3110M CPU @ 2.40GHZ. 4 GB RAM. Synaptics is standard pointing device with this laptop. I have installed latest drivers through device manager as well as from HP official site. But it is not showing any of the pointing device gestures for example scrolling, multitouch scrolling, pinch zoom etc.
Tried everything, installed old-new drivers, formatted the system, explored google across, but there is no solution available. Please check the attached snap, this is what i get when open mouse settings. Looking for solution.
Anybody can help me, i can't find switchable graphics setting on my bios. I've updated my bios but still there's no the setting?
I would really want to know which type of display is in this specific model of laptop.
Is it standard 220nits or better one with 400nits?
Or can I get a list of Elitebook models with better displays?
Or some interpretation of model identifiiers, e.g. JX is for this type of screen etc.?
I want to buy HP laptop with brighter screen, but local dealers do not have any information and HP support site just says 14" FullHD IPS UWVA, which doesn't help at all.
Hello, I have an HP Elitebook 850 G5, how can I tell if the screen is Touch?
I see this is a common issue with HP omen laptops, what is the fix for this? some days it goes back to 60fps then it goes back to 6-10fps. I dont even understand if it is a software issue My CPU is hardly working, my GPU reachs 80% while CPU is like 2% which makes no sense. I just got this last year.
Sometimes when I played the game halfway, the fps will dropped from 60 to 1-3 and this lasts forever. The solution to it is also only to restart the whole laptop. I have this problem since two years ago but not too frequent and now this problem is more frequent. Last time one of the technician delete some files and it is okay for quite a while until the problem reoccured again. So is there any way to fix it ?
Attempting to connect two monitors to a Z Book G5 17 with NVIDIA P3200 graphics card, graphics setup in hybrid mode. Either the DisplayPort or the HDMI output works fine. However, when the DisplayPort is connected to a monitor and driving a display, connecting a monitor to the HDMI output causes the DisplayPort monitor output to be cut. Either the DP or the HDMI can be used, but not both, and HDMI seems to take priority.
The display specs on this model specify the it can drive at least 3 displays without a dock when in hybid mode.
hi - my touchpad suddenly stopped working . did i accidentally turn it off? how do i turn it on again?
I just bought HP Envy 13-ah0006no and so far I´ve really liked it, but on the product description there was a mentioning that this particular model could support 120hz refresh rate (with brightview maybe?). I can't seem to find a solution to enable that. I've installed and updatet the integrated Intel HD graphics drivers and have also installed HP software and in windows control panel I've tried to change the refresh rate to 120hz from default 60hz, but I don't even get an option to change it to 120hz.. Am I missing something here or doing something wrong?
I bought the laptop from this site: https://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/56389/kkhsv/HP-Envy-13-ah0006no-13-3-kannettava-Win-10-kulta. The site is unfortunately in finnish language, but at least there is a mentioning that this laptop supports 120hz refresh rate.
Help would be appreciated...
Does it support HDR video streaming?
Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me with the following.
I cannot connect to an external monitor or TV using a HDMI cable.
I have two display adaptors within the laptop an Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M.
The problem I am having is that I have to disable the Intel HD graphics 4600 display driver so that I can see my laptop screen. If this driver is enabled then I get a black laptop screen. When it is disabled then I can work away great just with the laptop screen. The problem I am facing is when I have to project onto a monitor or tv through HDMI. I have to plug in the HDMI cable and then enable the intel driver. I can only do this by plugging in the HDMI cable into the laptop. This allows me to see my laptop screen and use the F4 key but the problem is it detects the monitor or TV, it just doesn't project. If I then remove the HDMI cable from the laptop then my laptop screen goes black and I have to reboot with the HDMI cable plugged in so that I can then disable the intel display driver to allow me to use the laptop screen again.
The only other way that I can disable the driver is if I boot into safe mode.
I have tried multiple unistalls and installs of the drivers both from the manufacturer and from HP but this hasn't rectified the problem. There was no issues when I was using Windows 8. This has happened since I upgraded to Windows 10.
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
Has anyone else had any success in dealing with their spontaneously cracked HP Spectre screen? I have contacted HP, and like others I was quoted $400 to fix this. It is a simple cracked, which seems unlikely to have been caused by excessive force or trauma I would have caused. It seems a lot of folks have commented on this (search the forum of "HP Spectre spontaneously cracked screen - loads of queries has to how handle), but I haven't seen a resolution other than to call HP (I did it, they say not their fault). The screen and computer has not had excessive wear and tear. At best, and the only thing I could that would have caused this is that the computer (a laptop) was out in the cold a couple times as of recent (and by cold, not excessive ~10F). I would seem a defect in the screen, and then the subsequent cold/warm would cause it to crack as it did.
Has anyone found a less expensive way of fixing the screen - $400 seems outrageous for something I didn't cause (and I've broken cell phone screens before, so I have an idea of what it takes to break screen - never broken a laptop screen).
Thanks for your assistance
I've got an Envy 13 model ad106laand obviously, there's no HDMI port but the question is if the USB C can send image to an external screen.
Thanks for the reply!
Hello, I am having trouble with my touchpad. This has been happening for the past few months, and I am not sure why. My cursor sometimes freezes, and won't resume unless I power off my laptop/restart it. Sometimes I am lucky, and don't have to constanly reboot but often other times it is a unavoidable issue that is quite annoying. I have looked around for a possible answer to my situation, but yet to have found a solution that works best for me and my product. I would appreciate help, and if more information is needed about my situation then please ask away. I want to know if this is something that can be fixed, before I buy a mouse. Thank you.
My daughter used my HP Folio Notebook on a tiled floor and I mistakenly momentarily stepped on it. Now it's showing a white screen. I hit the screen a few times, then the screen got its colour back but it was flickering. When I restarted it, it was just white till now. Please help.
Update: I connected my display to a TV and it's showing fine and also when I turned it on after putting the HDMI, it showed a black colour in a small area. I'm getting scared here
