Display Back Light Gone
Hey HP,
I've been using this laptop for school and I love it. Key feature for me is the fact that it has pen support to take notes in one note but recently my screen backlight went out. I have an extended warrenty but your site for finding repair shops next to me does not seem to work. I despritly need to get this fixed since this was not a cheap laptop and I need it for next semester, I was looking to order a new screen but you guys dont sell it and the only ones on the market are used ones. Calling you doesnt get me to a real person and there is no chat either. Would I please be able to get some assistence in getting this laptop fixed.

Horizontal Lines and Flickering Appears Randomly on Screen
At seemingly random points while using my HP Elite x2 1012, horizontal lines rise from the bottom to the top of the screen and cover the whole thing. These lines go away after I lock and unlock the computer. I've updated everything and soft reset the computer multiple times and nothing seems to help. I'm also out of warranty. What can I do? Screen covered with white and black lines
Hello, I got this new computer about 2 years ago and recently, out of no where it started coming up with these white and black lines that covered the whole screen. The only way to get rid of them was pushing on the bottom right of the frame and that only made them disappear until you let go. There is no screen crack or physical damage on the outside, I am assuming it’s behind the actual screen. I am not sure any other details I need to add, if there is please reply ;)

Will not wake from sleep or hibernate
I have been having this problem for some time. When I shut down the computer, the power light does not go out. I hold it for a few seconds and it goes out.. On restart, the pad, mouse or key board do not bring the screen alive. Nothing does. So I hold the power button and restart from there.I tried the Win 8.1 Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver about a year ago, and it worked for awhile, then stopped. I went back to the Win 10 64bit driver. I found a way to get the power light to extinguish one its own. I perform a restart and shut down from there. Please help!
Other than this issue, this laptop perfoms amazingly.

requesting costume driver
guys i have i5 m520 cpu i was checking and seem intel stop support after like 3 years ni drivers upgrade my gpu support max direct x 10.1 and shader modle 4.1 but i need run game require direct x 11 and shader modle 5 i am almost sure my pc can run it but all i miss a driver and seem they stopped upgrade long ago even thought like 40 deffrent prouduct use same gpu driver it wouldnt be a problem make it support direct x11 for all those simmliar pc with same driver even its kinda old and that what nivnida do thats why they are so famouse about graphic cards always supported for like 10 years not like intel 3 years and bye bye i wish someone can send me soultion to run direct x 11 in that gpu and thanks guy

Keyboard is typing all the wrong letters adding extra letters and numbers and keys taking me to webs
My keybaord on my laptop is not working. When I press the letter C... it takes me to help with windows 10 website.. when I press caps it comes up letter z when I press m it comes up nm vice versa... anything I press it takes me to settings or page etc...I’m using my iPhone because I couldn’t put in the product number on the laptop because the letter C was in it... I’ve rebooted the whole thing twice I done all the obvious and what I got told... not chnahed? Also I have the BO speakers. Ans when it plays something it will be very loud then the volume with go slowly to mute... with out touching it ?

Does the pavilion 360 CD0018tu allow alt mode on usb c
Hello We have a pavilion 360 that has a USB-C. Does this USB C allow alternate mode to allow HDMI output.
We have alos purchsed the HP USB-C multi hub, the USB ports work, however the there is not HDMI output.

Laptop Screen
My hp laptop HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs0xxx SN#5CD824152L Product#4AG15UA#ABA is not wanting to close correctly. When I try to close it, something is rubbing it. This is causing the frame to come apart at the corner left rear corner. Its wanting to separate(the front screen wanting to separate from the rear part the screen. Not sure what to do. Computer is only 4 months old. It still works perfectly. I am afraid it might get worse and could cause the screen to stop working.

Screen Issues
A couple days ago I got the blue screen of death on my HP Pavilion 14-al007la, which runs windows 10 64-bit. It took forever to reboot, I had a black screen for an hour until I decided to press the powerbutton and restart the computer myself. The message I received when I got the blue screen was UNEXPECTED STORE EXCEPTION, and I read that it could be caused if I had old drivers installed. I was using an older version of intel HD graphics 520 driver at the time because I have had issues with the screen going black and flickering but this version seemed to work fine, since I got the blue screen I decided to update the driver. Now I have an issue that my screen starts flickering, I haven't received the blue screen again but I don't know what the issue is with my computer. If I return to the previous version of the graphics card it might fix the flickering but I might get the blue screen again. What can I do to solve this issue?

I have 2 HP EliteBook 6930p, one has a Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family graphics adapter, the other ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 series how do I change the Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family to ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 series because I prefer the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 series. screen rotation
when i bought the laptop screen was rotating properly after a update it stopped working and the rotation lock was greyyed out and the shortkeys were also not working. I had tried tenting the latop, tablet mode, uninstalling my driver, updating the driver ,changing to 0 in registry but it didnt worked. and from a while the rotaion lock from action center has been replaced by "allsettings". please help me out and solve my problem.

I am looking for a replacement screen for my G7. The originally installed model was the LTN173KT01-k01. I am just wondering if there are any other models that will work for my system. The screen is a 17.3" 40-pin, 1600x900.
I could really use some info here fellas, I've done some Googling but haven't had much luck. I reckon that's why I'm here! :)

Virtual keyboard does not appear automatically in tablet mode
I have an HP Pavilion x360 product # T5M33AV. I recently installed a new hard drive and then did a clean install of windows 10 (64). I then used HP Support Assistant to update my drivers and bios. My problem occurs in tablet mode. My virtual keyboard does work but it does not come up automatically when I am in tablet mode. Also while I can see the taskbar and icons they are unresponsive to the touchscreen and so when I touch the keyboard icon nothing happens. If I bring up the virtual keyboard (window+ctrl+o) while in desktop mode and the rotate screen to auto tablet mode the virtual keyboard does work. Any help would be appreciated. I have searched for a solution to this problem but all so far have me go to settings for some option which does not exist on my settings.

Amd Radeon driver issues
i have a Hp envy 360 convertable Laptop, suddenly out of no where every time i try to watch netflix or any video's on youtube or within a web browser the laptop becomes unstable, unresponsive and then crashes.
i have updated the video drivers to the latest versions, i have completely re-installed windows from a fresh install and still the problem persists.
i ran device manager, selected the video display adaptor which is showing as vega 8 mobile, i select disable device and then i am able to watch videos without the laptop freezing, once i re enable the device the problem returns, the laptop is only 7 months old, hopefully someone can help
