I've had a big grey rectangle where the second momitor menu would usually apear (and still does), which was anoying when it was just light grey, but is intrusive now that it's dark grey! Anyone know how to get rid of this? Is it windows or is there somethign else going on?

I recently bought an HP Tilt Pen for my laptop, the tilt functionality started to work after I downloaded the "HP Tilt Pen driver Version: 1.0.0.22 Revision: A", but the driver keeps crashing for no apparent reason. Sometimes it takes a while and some other times keeps crashing all the time since I start to work with it. The bluetooth connection seems not to be the problem, since the pen keeps paired all the time.

Vertical lines in display
I will be working on laptop and vertical lines will appear. It usually goes away after a bit or if i hit certain keystrokes. Sometimes I have to go to sleep and back out. I have reinstalled drivers and tried to update to latest bios

Need drivers for DV9000 running Win 10 Home 64 bit
Loaded win 10 64 bit on my dv9000. Device manager shows missing drivers as follows. Base system device, PCI bus 7, device 5, functions 2, 3 and 4. Also Unknown device ACPI \ HPQ0006. The coprocessor was also missing but I found it on this forum and it works fine even though it was for win vista. Also need the Nvidia graphics driver as it is currently running on generic microsoft driver. Thanks for your help!

hp tilt pen won't turn on
Three days ago my new Hp Spectre x360 13 (ae019nl) arrived home and it came with its pen (which has no charger except for the laptop one). I charged it for 30 minutes and I associated it with the pc and it worked for awhile until the blue light went off. I thought it just needed to be charged again but since that moment the pen doesn't turn on anymore, I haven't seen any light (blue, green nor red) anymore. I really don't know what to do about it. Can anyone help, please?

HP Omen 17 an120ca - Can't install Intel HD Graphics driver
I got this laptop last week and did a clean install of Windows 10. I went to the HP site and installed the drivers (https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-by-hp-17-an100-laptop-pc/20329829/model/22488758), however, when I tried to install Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver (Windows 10 v1803) the app ran, and appeared to install the files, but after it completed I got the following error:
Furthermore, when I look in device manager, there is only the Nvidia graphics adapter showing:
So, how do I also get the Intel HD Graphics driver up and running?

I have the same problem and no answer from HP !
It's because the resolution screen is very (too !) high.
The only solution I've found is to change the resolution to a very bad one (for example 1920 x 1080)!
But it's a very bad solution...
The lesson : don't buy premium performance PC !

Miracast doesn't work

Miracast dosn't work and can't connect to my display by wireless.
I ran dxdiag and It told me Miracast:not supported by Graphics.
But I found HP documents, Envy13-ag is in the support list.

Touchscreen not working after Windows update
A few weeks ago, I did a massive update to my wife's laptop (Pavilion Core i5). I initiated all needed driver updates and no problems occurred. Then I installed a series of needed windows updates, and at some point during that process, the touchscreen stopped working.

Things I have done/discovered:
- Extensively searched through Windows and HP forums in order to find some related problem to draw from. I found a lot of things to try, but none of them have bene successful.
- Ran a boot-level UEFI Component test and found the touchscreen works just fine at the hardware level.
- Ran the Recovery Manager and opted to reinstall: Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver (Version 21.20.16.4599)
- In the Device Manager, under Human Interfaces Devices, there are three items listed and none of them are touchscreens (listed below). Activating "Scan for Hardware Changes" does nothing.
- HID-compliant wireless radio controls
- HP Wireless Button Driver
- Microsoft USB Wheel Mouse Optical
- In my research, I noted that years ago, there was a need to install a particular touchscreen driver when upgrading to Windows 8. I wonder if this is just some future manifestation of the same problem.
I'm basically empty when it comes to ideas. If you'd like me to post any particular technical information, please inform me. I'd really like to avoid a full reinstall of Windows if I can help it, because I suspect the same exact thing will happen, since it was updating the OS that brought me here to start.

I 'd like to know if it is possible to connect two monitor to the pc, the first monitor with vga and the second monitor with hdmi. I tried, but the note book shows me only one external screen (vga or hdmi) but not both. I would like to know this thing, because i dont't like to work with the note book screen.

keyboard problem 10-n002nl
Hi,
I have problems with the keyboard and touchpad of my PC Pavilion x2 10-n002nl. as long as I write the keyboard it works correctly but after a few seconds of inactivity both the touchpad and the keyboard stop working. the problem is solved (momentarily) by removing the keyboard and reinserting it. I tried to format the PC but I can not install the latest version of the keyboard firmware as the installation ceases with an error.
The installed operating system is Windows 10

Mouse pointer continuously flickering
The mouse cursor keeps flickering continuously, making it difficult to click or use the touchpad. Surprisingly the problem disappears momentarily and appears again after any key press on the keyboard.
I have already tried the following but couldn't resolve :
1. Fresh installation of Windows 10.
2. Uninstalling and installing the Synaptic touchpad driver.
3. Rolling back the Synaptic touchpad driver.
4. sfc/scannow - No Errors

Hp Spectre Mouse/Pen Issue
I bought this laptop back in September for school. Working fine until recently the mouse cursor is being weird. Sometimes it would switch to pen cursor and moves around once in a while. I tried turning bluetooth and pen off, disabled mouse and just have the touch pad and even tried virse versa where I disabled touchpad and touch screen and just have the mouse plug in.
