The screen on my HP Pavilion TouchSmart 15 Notebook PC is acting weird. At certain times the display gets shaky, for lack of a better word. It's very slight, enough to make me think my eyes are going crazy. Also have noticed when I play certain games, spots on the screen get all distorted. I just bought this thing 4 months ago...Any suggestions?

weird display of the BIOS and startup Windows logo
Hello,
I've replaced the screen of my zd8000, under Windows XP the display is fine, no problem, I've checked it up with HP tools on line., the result is fine.
The problem is not very serious, but when I reach the BIOS , the types are shrinked to the left (same with Windows XP logo when it loads system), however I can read or guess what the menu proposes. No problem with safe mode , command line on DOS, the display is fine.
I've updated the video driver, and so on with automatic detection.

HP pavilion 15 touchsmart n022tu Need to switch to the official Intel drivers
So, The HP drivers aren't working with a lot of the games I play, And I need to use the updated Intel drivers to run them, But I can't use them, I've tried completely uninstalling the HP drivers for my graphics but it's no help, It just says my computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements.
Anyone know how to get rid of the annoying 3rd party HP drivers so I can use the Intel ones that actually maintain them?

Titanfall Not working
So I had recently gotten titanfall for my brother. He has a Hp Envy dv7-7250us. When he finished instlling the game he noticed that the graphics where all messed up! Like mostly the titans and all that. I have been trying all day to fix it but I can't. I already tried this-https://communities.intel.com/thread/49322

Btw it has something to do with the graphics card.
Also on the first link I cant use it because it wont let me overide the hp driver for the same graphics card. And the only way I know how to fix it is with that driver!

Graphic Driver Problem on Pavilion 15 e-034tx running win8.1

i have pavilion 15 e034-tx model which is currently running win8.1,it has radeon 8670m hd graphic card of 1Gb but its driver is not working properly it was working okay when i was running my laptop on win8,and when i updated my laptop then driver gets crashed i also updated driver but still the problem remains. please help. In device manager it says windows has stopped this device. What to do?

AMD Graphics adapter not installing/working

Alright so i bought this laptop a few years back and it has never worked right in regards to the graphics adapter which is insanely frustrating. I do not believe i am able to get applications to run with the Radeon at all. (should be able to right click an application and select run with AMD Radeon right?)
I have tried for hours and hours to try and get this to work over the years trying to download and install more different drivers than i can even count on my hands. When i attempt to use AMD's auto-detect catalyst installer i get this error message here: http://prntscr.com/37hhft

Elitebook 850G1 hybrid graphics issue
Just wondering how to disable hybrid mode, theres an option in the bios to, but it seems to just run off the onboard gpu, i just want the laptop to run off the amd card thats in it, cant update the gpu to latest drivers because its a hybrid setup, can only use special amd drivers that were made for it. Surely theres a way to disable intel dedicated graphics and just have the amd graphics running and be upgradable?

CD player runs continuously
I have a Pavilion dv7-1247cl updated to windows 8.1. When I turn my computer on the cd drive runs continuously and the screen stays black. Since it is an older model I don't want to spend money on a new cd drive if that's not the problem. Is this what happens when the drive goes or is something else going on? I tried the hard reboot and tried running the machine without the drive...no luck. Thanks for any help!

Ati Radeon Hd 7690m xt memory speed problem
As far as I read on some webpages the memory speed of this card is supposed to be 900mhz. But what is written in control center is 800mhz on my computer. I searched a bit about this one on the forum but I couldn't find some precise information. Thanks in advance

grey screeen without display lcd lamp works fine but unable to see anything.
i have hp 6910p and i was facing an issue such as horizental line on my laptop screen so i unscrewed my laptop unpluged lcds strip and plugged again this time i tottally lost my display on lcd screen. my laptop starts normally on external monitor but doesnt display on its own lcd. lcd light invertor and lcd blub is on but i am unable to see display on lcd screen of laptop. can anyone tell me what is wrong with my lcd sreen ? help me to find problem please. thanx

Radeon HD6470M driver for Windows 8
Hello everyone
I've just upgrade my OS from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and I'm having some problems while finding the correct driver for my graphic card.
Just like I wrote on the title I have a Radeon HD6470M. I've been searching in this forum, and I found this post:

Unfortunately, It's not working for me, and I'm starting to think that It's because of my notebook model: HP Pavilion dm4 2090

PS: I've already tried the driver that you can find at HP driver downloads section, but despite It installs the Catalyst software, the computer still doesn't detect my actual graphic card, and instead automatically installs the driver for HD 7xxx series

Display dies when upgraded to 8.1
Have a new Envy notebook. Tried to upgrade to 8.1 first week I had it. After imstall, computer stared ok and then display went blank. After 2+ hours on the phone we had to restore to factory default. I lost all my installed S/W. Made the mistake of trying to upgraded again several months later with same results. Blank display and only advice the service desk could give me is to restore to default. Has anyone else seen this behavor? Is the Envy with a coreI5 processer compatiable with Windows 8.1?
