I have already disabled the webcam in device manager but the LED is still on.

I have recently upgraded my hard drive and had to reinstall Windows 10 Pro. When installing the Intel HD Graphics 620 display drivers, I got the message "installation package is not supported by this processor type". I updated all other drivers to ensure the processor would be recognized properly, but still the problem remains.
I have tried three routes to install the driver;
1) use the HP installer; which returns "there was an error installing one or more drivers, setup will now exit"
2) use the Intel installer, both manually and the Intel Driver & Support assistant; which returns "installation package is not supported by this processor type"
3) use the Windows Device Manager, which recognizes the graphics chip as a Intel HD Graphics 620; which returns "a service installation section in this INF is invalid"
I have also tried older driver versions, but to no effect other than what's already listed above.
Where can I find the proper drivers for my graphics chip?

I am having problems connecting my laptop to an external screen using HDMI cable.
the screen was connect and everything worked properly until this morning when all the suddon the computer doesn't recognize the screen.
i have uninstalled and re-installed the display drivers and have chacked the cable and monitor with a diffrent laptop and they work fine. the problem is when i connect them to my laptop.
as far as i remember i had this problem months ago and after re-installing the drivers i've solved it, please help me with this because it's very frustrating.

My laptop is said to have nvidia graphic card. But i cannot find it in device manager. I tried installing nvidia graphic driver given in hp driver website for my laptop. But it says "not compatible nvidia hardware is not found". Even though i downloaded it from hp driver website it is not working. Is there a way to get it installed.

A quick look in the Settings tells me that my laptop display has "Touch support with 2 inputs."
No matter how much I jab at my screen, nothing works. Obviously.
So what's the deal here?
Greetings! The hotkeys designated for screen brightness adjusment (f3 and f4) do nothing.(Elitebook 840 G5 w 64 bit Windows 10).
I've seen similar problems posted for various other models, which the advice was to update the bios driver and hotkey support, but don't know whether that's appropriate for this model. By the way, I have never seen that particular maneuver be reported to work.
This was not a case that it once worked and stopped. It did not work from day 1. It puzzles me that HP would ship a new laptop in this state.
Any suggestions appreciated!

All drivers are installed. I've updated BIOS and set priority in Nvidia. Power plan is set to High Performance
My pointer keeps freezing. From when I lift the lid and use, I get about 5 minutes before the freezing starts. I have tried everything that the HP help/diagnostic tells me to try.
The place I bought it from gave me a disk to reinstall windows 10. Not helped. The notebook is a couple of weeks old. For the first week, it worked fine.
Besides the HP diagnostic tool, I have also tried help from windows.

hola despues de restaurar mi laptop dejo de funcionar la opcion touch de la pantalla, ya intente con troubleshooting, ya actualice la BIOS, ya verifique el funcionamiento de la pantalla desde la opcion con F2 y funciona a la perfeccion, verifique en administracion de dispositivos y en la opcion HID me percate que ya no está el driver instalado de pantalla táctil. he buscado directamente en HP y no encuentro el driver. Donde puedo obtenerlo o como puedo volver a tener mi pantalla tactil funcionando de nuevo??

Is there an answer to this question? I also just received my Vega-equipped Spectre x360 15 and after meticuously updating Windows and all HP recommended drivers, I also get the Vega 'update fails to detect current configuration ' message/error.
I would like to know how I can see whether I have the appropriate and latest Vega driver.
So, this is my question. I had a dell m6500 with a fantastic display, i could use it with photoshop and 3d graphics.... when the dell become old, i've to change it, and i've bought a used zbook 17 1920x1080. So it isa full hd, bytheway colors are horrible, and also viewing angle is like the old plasma disply out 15 years ago.... depending of your position you see crisp or all black.... colour are impossible to be recognised for graphic use..... so, how to know if there is adifferent display i can buy, or a laptop with the same hardware minus the display theat is horrible?
I purched the HP Omen X 17 with gtx1080 and i7-7700hq and it has the 120hz fhd panel and was wondering if it is upgradable to the 144hz fhd panel. i did not t do the upgrade when i custom ordered it and just curious if this can be done since it was an option. also would i lose g-sync? if it is possible can you provide the correct panel part number i would need to order. thanks in advance
