I was wondering if this model of notebook has AMD Radeon Graphics Card integrated. I've seen that some models have issues with this. Please, help me.

HP ENVY M6 1225DX- BLACK SCREEN (WIN8)
Hello. I am having problem after problem after problem with this fairly new HP Envy M6 i bought from best buy. This one, however, i have not been able to resolve by myself. When i boot up the computer, it says "Preparing Automatic Repair". the mouse then appears on a black lit screen with the loading circle, then after asecond the circle disappears and the mouse remains. NOTHING. Computer will not boot in System recovery. When i press F11 the system responds and the HP symbol appears with the words "Please Wait" and after about 3 seconds disappears and then again is my mouse. I followed all the steps listed here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c03518165 to try to resolve the issue. Results:
1) Hard Rest has ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT
2) Does not work though i know it is not a display issue since the computer displays just fine.
3)BIOS mode works, i follwed the steps with NO results.
4) Memory Modules are seated fine, again, not the issue though since i am getting a display. Just prior to this happening my computer was sitting fine, i was browsing as usual with it. I had abnormal operation at first, my web browser started to load pages extremely slow and then i lost internet connectivity altogether, and then my pc just stopped responding and froze. I pushed the power button, and then the PC restarted just as so. NO LUCK WHATSOEVER. I have no idea what could be wrong. The screen works fine, the memory works fine, GUI seems to be working since it displays some images from above. I have NO idea what could be wrong other than an operating system error. PLEASE HELP ME.

ENVY x2 11-g010nr 11.6 external monitor
I have an ENVY x2 11-g010nr 11.6 and I need to connect my older Dell monitor that uses a VGA cable. The ENVY x2 11-g010nr 11.6 only has 2 USB and 1 HDMI slots. is there an adapter for VGA to USB or HDMI and if so will video and sound work? Thanks for the help

HP dv6 Flickering Display - How to replace cable and which one to buy?
I currently have a dv6 2155dx (the warranty has expired, it's an old laptop). Its display has been flickering non-stop and the cause is most likely a faulty display panel LED cable. I have to purchase a new video cable to replace the one that sucks. However, I have no idea which one to buy. According to this pdf,here (pg 3-9, number 5), it says to order spare part number 574554-001. Yet when I opened my laptop and looked at the stickers indicating which spare parts to buy, here, it says (at least what I think it says) to get DD0UP8LC006. Which one do I get?
Also, does anyone know how exactly to replace the cable. There's quite a lot on how to replace the screen, but not the cable itself. I would (hopefully) like to be able to do it without dismantling the entire laptop since I'm pretty new to this.

ATI CATALYST CONTROL NOT WORKING

Recently i faced system failure so i formatted win 7.Also i needed some more space so i formatted drives and created new partitions . Now i installed win 7 64 bit enterprise edition .I downloaded all the drivers from this link:http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5208155
when i tried installing the ati drivers they installed normally without displaying any errors.But i could not locate the catalyst control center after installing them .it is not displayed in the start menu nor can i use switchable graphics option .
I can only use intel hd graphics nor my ati radeon .
in the device manager it is displaying the driver as it used to be earlier

Black screen help!
I am using laptop Presario v3500 now and the monitor is not displaying but it's actually still working.
I tried to connect external monitor but still got nothing. ( I already tried the fn + f4 key, and start button + p)

HP Pavilion G series laptop screen is completly white?

So yesterday, I decide to go on my laptop, and everything was completely normal, then I decided to leave the room for five minuets, and when I returned, the screen turned pink. So I decided to restart it and take out the battery, but the screen was still pink, so I decided to see if it would be better the next morning. When I turned on the laptop today, the whole screen is white now! I would like to know how to fix this problem please, and some additional info: it has Windows 7, I've had it for about a year, and I do have some games on it. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? Thank you.

pavillion dv6000 showing black screen when opening for first time
Friends, I have HP Pavillion dv6000 .
os : Windows 8 pro 32 bit
ram: 2 GB
Whenever I open my laptop it boots and shows windows logo and then screen goes black. Then I turn it off directly by the power button and then open it for 2nd time immediately ,this time it starts as usual but with the restart sound of windows 8. I have'nt installed any driver or software recently or changed any thing. It has just started few week back by itself.

what GPU am I using?
Ok, just got my DV6-7000 and hooked it up to an external monitor using an HDMI cable but I'm not sure what graphics processor is being used.... how do I get this laptop to use the nvidia GT650 because when I look at the performance information and tools the only processor mentioned is the Intel HD Graphics 4000.... how do I switch to the GT 650 which I paid alot of money for as an upgrade? Pavilion DV6 Black/Dim Screen
Well I have a Pavilion DV6 3050tx... What happens is that the screen, or rather the things diplayed on the screen, are very faint... Also points to be noted:
1. I have connected it to a external monitor, and it works absolutely fine (except laptop display is dim).
2. I have tried increasing the brightness, however the brightness bar no longer shows up when i press f2/f3 (the brightness toggles), when earlier, a bar indicating the brightness shows up.
3. I tried hard reseting, but to no avail.
4. I have updated the bios.
5. I have updated the device drivers.
6. The matter on the screen can be seen when a flashlight is shone on the screen. However, I am aware that this laptop has an LED screen, so I have no idea what a dim screen is supposed to signify.
I have also visited an HP service center, where they have told me that the screen must be replaced. However, I believe that the service center people are trying to cheat me into paying 300$(approx). This is because:
Yesterday, the screen fixed itself. It was working fine on multiple switch-on and switch offs and at various angles. This fixing of itself, happened with some sort of an unknown start-up error, (i.e. the error showed up once the screen went black after the starting windows logo). So I decided to go for a factory reset as I wanted to go for a fresh start. It worked fine even until all the files were copied (in the factory reset), and upon bootup, the dreaded black/dim screen reappeared.
So in short, could someone please suggest how to fix this, as I am about 99% sure it does not require screen replacement.

HP Envy X2 image retention issue
Hello, I am having a problem with the HP Envy x2's screen. I have noticed that even after few seconds in desktop mode, when I switch to the start screen, the taskbar is still faintly visible. It does disappear after a minute or so, but it's very annoying. Also, when I open apps and then close them after a little bit, a faint image of the app is visible.
I am wondering if there is a fix to this, or will I have to ask for a replacement. Other then this issue, I really am enjoying the envy x2!

1/3 of laptop screen has lighter background sometimes
Upon about 80% of the boots the screen will appear lighter on the first vertical 1/3 of the screen. On the other 20% of the boot ups the screen will appear normal. Has anyone seen this? Anyone know how to fix this problem?
These screens are representations of what appears when the computer is booted up. The text content and size is not to scale on the first screen but other than that, these are pretty close to what is seen. Anyone have a fix for this?

PROBLEM WITH LAPTOP SPEAKER SOUND & PLAYING VIDEO
While playing any video, sound breaks/stops during ongoing video.Presently as compared to previous the volume has reduced to lower rate.& Video doesnot run smoothly whenever i play a video using any video playing software.

I can't play Blu Ray movies, or MKV
I have a HP Pavillion g6-2011sq with windows 8. When I open a Blu Ray movie with any player it just plays a few seconds and after that it jumps to minute 5,30...etc. I have the latest video driver installed....please help!

"Switchable Graphics" giving bad Windows Rating
I have a HP ENVY 17-j073ca Notebook PC and whenever I run the Windows Experience Index rating system it gives me a low rating, presumably because it's detecting my integrated video card as opposed to the NVIDIA GEFORCE card that this machine also comes with. Also I'm not positive I'm http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/forums/postpage/board-id/Displaygetting the best desktop experience when the card is not "active", and it's saving the battery or whatever, which I don't care about because I have it plugged in most of the time. I want performance, not battery saving.
There is an option within the NVIDIA control panel that allows you to switch from auto-select to "High-performance NVIDIA processor", but it doesn't help with the Windows Rating. I've even tried disabling the Intel 4600, but then it gives an even worse rating because it's detecting the even lower integrated card that I'm sure is basically used for installs. Has anyone else run into this problem?

g7-1017cl has light and dark lettering in some pages
I have light and dark and some times blurred words in some displays on my HP g7-1017cl Pavilion notebook all the drivers were just updated and still have the problem.
