My laptop screen had vertical and horizontal stripes on it and i need to position it very carefully to make them go away. this issue keeps returning and i have tried all solutions provided by hp and i know it is a hardware disfunction so it needs to be repaired

my laptop is hp 15 - bs060wm.
touchpad was working perfectly fine before I put it on sleep mode for 30mins.
once I started computer after that touchpad is not responding.
I don't know what to do. I have tried to find touchpad in controlpannel but could not find it.

Touch screen not working after Windows 10 upgrade
My niece's laptop some how/some way got upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps it was an upgrade pop-up she accepted. Since the upgrade, it looks like her touch screen no longer works. I've disabled/enabled the HID touchscreen from device manager, but it didn't work. I've looked in the drivers download section for her laptop, and I didn't see any new drivers for the touch screen.
The Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook 14 D1G61UA#ABA is also known as 14-b124us.
Has anyone else had the same issue after upgrading to Windows 10?

dvd player wont play normal dvds
been shut off for quite some time but when it was up the dvd player worked fine now it telling me on all the players that came installed that cant be read not formatted right or wont open at all ive gone thru and checked all the drivers they all say fine even made sure that hp smart media was the default player and still nothing. done all the windows updates and still cant read a store bought dvd no they arent blue ray just for those that are going to read this and think that like i said it was working before i put it away

Display problem after changing of display
hello i purchased hp ac122tu laptop 2 years ago (that time i extended the warranty) before some days i found problem in display i locked a complaint and service centre person change it but in this display i found some yellowish tint again i locked a complaint and i found again this yellowish tint,this is very irritating to my eyes and i cannot adjust with this display colour..please help me out this problem is new hp laptop screen have same problem??also the display was of LG company and now the display comes BOM(i think) company so there may be a disfference of the companies??

Keys on laptop give incorrect symbol when used
The new laptop recently purchased has a couple of keys which incorrectly give a symbol not represented on the keys.
The [@] symbol is not used by depressing the shift2 key as normal. It is swapped around with the ["] key which is next to the main enter key on the keyboard. Likewise, the [hash] key (note that the symbol is missing from the keyboard and I cannot type it here hence typing the word hash) or shift3 is not working and gives [£] instead.
I am based in Australia, if that is needed, and think that the keyboard may be tuned to another country, however I selected the correct country when I initiated the machine.
Any ideas on how to change the key to it's correctly specified character?

AMD error AMD Radeon HD 6300m driver / Catalyst software? Need my DUAL MONITORS TO WORK
I paraphrased from an archived post. Same problem. This is an older laptop and so the graphics card/s are also older. I just upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7. In 7, I could use dual monitors with the second being an extension of the other. After upgrading to Windows 10, the second monitor, a desktop flat screen monitor is not detected. Everything that is on the laptop screen is exact on the second screen. It workd in Windows 7 just fine.
Graphics = AMD Radeon HD 6300m series and
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 series
The 6300m had the little yellow triangle on it after I was through upgrading. I went to AMD seeking help to get the dual screen setup correctly with the secondary as extended of the laptop screen. So far, nothing I have done has made it work correctly. I get an error message that says something like.... "No AMD graphics driver is installed or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the appropriate driver for your AMD hardware.?
I have contacted the AMD site & they put it back on HP. I wonder if there is some kind of workaround or an appropriate driver that would work.

Capacitive stylus not working on HP ENVY laptop
Hi,
I bought MEKO capacitive precision stylus (https://amzn.to/2OqIAu5) for my HP ENVY. But when I tried the stylus with my laptop, it did not make smooth line and most of the time the laptop did not register the touch from the stylus. I have tried the blunt end and the precision tip of the stylus but the results are just the same - not a smooth experience.
I also tried the stylus my other touchscreen devices (android phones and tablets) and they work absolutely fine. it is a very good capacitive stylus. So I think the problem could be with the laptop's touchscreen driver.
I can use my finger just fine with the laptop touchscreen.

"ghost" images
I am having issues with my monitor. I have a laptop hooked up to a dock with the above monitor as display. The image on the laptop screen is fine. The image on the monitor shows ghost images that I cant get rid of. It makes viewing very difficult.

Jumping screen
My screen jumps from one location to another, sometimes on the same page, sometimes to a different page/tab. Sometimes when I'm reading an e-mail in my Inbox, it'll bounce out and display the sent e-mails. Also, sometimes when I'm typing, the screen freezes at the location I'm typing causing me to have to tap the touchpad a few times to reset things. Of course all this started one day after the warranty ran out. Help!
