I play videos on my HP Notebook 14-am070tu, the first few minutes is okay but afterwards the video lags and becomes choppy. I tried other video players but the problem persists. Please help me out :(

Laptop Backlight Issues
I have a somewhat minor but major issue... The laptop I have it works, at least as well as it can considering that the frame is in rather poor shape and the power button not working (I can basically hotwire it on)... Otherwise it has been working okay (aside from the internet dropping lately).
Today... the monitor stopped working... at least so I thought. I noticed that the monitor still does mostly work EXCEPT the backlight doesn't work. I looked at the wiring and it looks like several of the wires are disconnected/broken. I was wondering what can I do to fix this since it would seem that more so than not most of the hardware and softwear is in fact working well enough (or tollerably enough).
I pealed the protective layer back a little bit to see if I could reconnect the wires somehow but honestly I can't find them inside of there.
I suspect if there was a way to simply override the wire here to turn on the backlight, light maybe a setting, perhaps no hardware fix would be needed at all. But otherwise is it possible to replace this wiring and what would be involved in doing so? Thank you.

Brightness changing, cursor stops when I touch touchpad.
While normal functioning, the brightness indicator on left corner appers, cursor stops moveing, touchpad does not responds, keyboard works fine. Then when I press windows button it starts responding but again problem starts almost instantly.

Random screen blackouts
Hello everyone, I am in desperate need of help as I cannot seem to solve this issue and neither could my insurance's IT department. After recent Windows 10 updates, my laptop begins to black out for about 2 seconds then brings itself back. Nothing else crashes or stops working, it's just the screen blacking out.
I had updated intel graphics driver but winding it back or having it updated hasn't changed the outcome. Twice, this computer has had a clean install of Windows 10 with no improvement. It has been wiped and reset to its factory state twice with no change. I still have my screen randomly blacking out. I'm not even notified if the 'display driver has crashed' or anything similar. It blacks out for 2 seconds, brings itself back, and everything continues to resume as if nothing happened. This was never an issue before and I'm not entirely sure what has caused it. I think it's a Windows update but I could be wrong. Please help!

Display not detected on boot...sometimes
My laptop display has been failing to function properly on boot lately in one of two ways:
1. The screen illuminates but remains black, and can be detected by the OS as an attached device
2. The screen does not illuminate at all, and cannot be detected by the OS
Lately, it's been almost exclusively the second one. Connecting to an external display functions fine in spite of either condition. Performing a hard reset on the laptop helped temporarily resolve the issue a few times, but no longer has any effect. Windows repair tools haven't yielded any results, either.
It doesn't seem to be a mechanical issue. Several times, I have yielded to software prompts to restart my computer when the display was fully functional, only for it to be inoperable on the subsequent boot, all without touching the machine itself. However, I could be wrong.
Any solutions or troubleshooting beyond the steps provided by HP are welcome, as I have already followed their suggestion tree to no avail.

Zbook 17 G4 Mobile Workstation display issue
I have an issue with a Zbook 17 G4 where I can't get the screen to display onto 2 other 24" monitors that are 1920x1200.
Is there a limitation to the hardware on this device? I know it has a dedicated GPU and it's set to use this in the BIOS as it's set to discrete GPU.
I've tried some kensington docking stations however they will not show any screens.
I've even plugged the Monitors directly into the workstation using vga and hdmi connectors and it will only display on the two external screens if the laptop lid is closed.
I've noticed HP sell a Docking Station for the G3/G4 mobile workstations in 2 flavours a 150watt and 200 watt.
Do i need to buy one of these to get the workstation to display on all three screens?
Any suggestions how i can get this to display onto 2 screens and the laptop screen.

Omen 15 dc0051nr with egpu
Is there a way to use an egpu with the Omen 15 dc0051nr? Testing with an akito node containing a 1080ti and the laptop only seems to use the 1060 dgpu. I have tried dissabling the 1060 in the device manager and it still appears to run.

HP 22cwa blinking and showing signal out of range message
Hello,
We're using HP Pavilion 14 and when connecting it to the HP 22cwa screen it shows input out of range message and blinks irregularly (from input to blank screen with error message)
We troubleshooted the following things and still couldn't make it work
1. We tried uninstalling the drivers of BIOS and display and restarted the laptop . Coming back to the same problem.
But when we disable device display adapter we get the following message as "HDMI: No Signal" and the monitor goes to sleep.
The problem starts again if we re-install/Enable the device display adapter downloaded from HP website.
2. We changed the advanced settings to 1920 x 1080 with frequency 60hz but in vain.
3. We check for the detection of the screen when HDMI is connected but it says it is not detected.
It was working 2 days ago but stopped working from 7/30.
We checked the screen with other computers and the screen along with the HDMI cable works fine.

Pointer not on screen
For no reason my pointer stopped showing up on the screen. I have tried many internet suggestions such as enabling the mouse under the control panel and hitting various Fn buttons to have the pointer appear. Nothing has worked. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Smooth zooming in Chrome
I cant have smooth zooming by expanding 2 fingers, on microsoft edge I can get that work, while on chrome it fells gitchy and not smooth at all.

Brightness keys not working
After a Windows update (Not quite sure when it was. LIkely about 3-4 weeks ago after I purchased the product), the brightness keys f5 and f6 stopped changing the brightness (when fn was pressed down as well). Brightness can still be changed through settings, and the f5 and f6 keys do still work, but the brightness doesn't change.

HP ProBook 430 G5 with HP USB-C Dock G4 USB Type C not able to run 3 displays at FHD resolutions
This is the situation.
We have 3 external display plugged into the USB-C dock. 2 x HP displays connected to dock via Display Port (Native Resoltuion 1920 x 1200) and 1 x Acer connected to dock via HDMI with a HDMI to DVI adaptor.
Laptop display closed and not in use.
Have no issue with Acer screen. Add the 1st HP monitor and running at native resoltuion. still no issues. Add the 3rd screen (2nd HP) and that screen in Extended desktop has a max resolution of 640 x 480.
I have updated the monitor drivers and the Intel UHD 620 graphics drivers (July 2018) and no help.
If in the Intel driver option I change it from Display scalling to maintain aspect ratio, I can set the third screen up to a higher resolution of 1280*1024, but when I do that, at least on of the other monitors will drop its resolutions down.
Have we hit a display limit? It does lead me that the Intel UHD 620 is a Ultra HD whichshould be able to run 4 x FHD screens
Any ideas or this just not possible?

My new HP envy 13t ad100 CTO with touch screen has flicker when in Baterry. It's Flicker and then dim the screen to dark theme as my video below. It's till has 9 months warranty. Please help me !
