Heyo,

 

is there a way to Install Mac High Sierra on this Notebook? I stuck at loading the Installer :( (Host Level Exception)

 

I always tried "https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/" patching ACPI ... but **bleep** that can´t be the way xD anyway i wont get it to work.

Can someone Help me? ;/

 

I think the solution is to Deactivate the internal(Intel HD) or the Nvidia gpu, but there is no Option in bios (latest Update)

Hello! The problem is the HP 15-ba588ur laptop. AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 M430 Graphics - the machine hangs into the blue screen when playing any video. I tried to install different drivers - from HP, from AMD, different versions - the result is always one. In this case everything is fine in games. The problem is not in FLASH. With the drivers "basic video adapter" video shows, but, of course, a problem with the games. A search in Google showed that this is a common problem on HP notebooks with AMD. There is no right solution anywhere. Help me please.

I bought a used envy x360 my with i7 core,

After the coworker I bought it from did a factory reset I updated the laptop on Friday night and than Saturday after work I went to use it and the screen was the white and nothing but pixels, The cursor is a block of pixels. So I tried to reset it again thinking maybe it didn't like the updates and after a few hours of it resetting it still does the same thing. Also the screen kinda flickers a little while it's on now. The screen will work fine if I hold the power button till it fully resets and I leave the laptop open.

Hello there,new to the board and not sure if this is the correct place to post this.

 

I am currently using a Pavillion X360 Covertible 14.

 

Having some questions about the stylus that came along with it.

 

Model : 1MR94AA

 

Is it possible to remove the tip and replace it with new ones? And where can I get new tips if that is the case?

 

Alternatively, is there any other active stylus on the market that would work with this model of PC that I have?

Laptop developed a black block or right hand side, so i cant see anything or control anything right hand side.  Als the colours on screen seem to have become birghter.  One minute it was fine next just appeared.  

 

I have updated display adapters et change resolutions nothing is changing it

I just purchased my HP ENVY x360 2-in1 laptop (i7, 1T not solid state, 16gb ram) a few days ago. As soon as I turned it on I noticed the pointed (both using the mousepad and an external mouse) is just not right. The pointed constantly moves to my top left screen, disappears, tracks just oddly through. It is pretty infurating and I think I will return my laptop if I cannot trouble shoot this properly.

 

I have tried the following fixes thus far... 

1)  I have done component tests for the mouse hardware on the HP website and here is where I did the right and left mouse button test, and had no issues, both passed.

2) I've performed both fixes you suggest above, the first included Disabling the Disappearing feature in windows

3) The next suggestion you had was to do Find and Fix

 

Nothing this far has worked. Is this laptop a pile of garbage and I should just return it? I spent a ton of money on its the first laptop I've had in like 5 years so it was a large purchase for me. 

 

Such a disappointment so far. I have never experienced something malfuncitoning when I open the box. HP should be embarrassed.

After updating the latest version, the touch screen is not working anymore. I check the problem in Device Manager -> Human interface -> HID-Compliance touch screen properties, the status is "This device is working properly". So what happens with my laptop and how can I fix it???

Im using HP Probook 450 G5 having this issue still. tried everything in the forum include, updating the driver using the softpaq and downloading the Hotkey and Intel Chipset. still could not work, please assist.

My brand new 15-bs179tx has a yellowish display which is very annoying to watch. I've installed latest graphic drivers but doesnt help to solve the issue. The startup HP logo is too dim. Is it a hardware issue ?. Please a suggest repliable and possible solution, Thank you.

Hi,

 

I have a HP OMEN 17-w106TX (Y8H53PA) running Windows 10 ver 1607.

 

I have tried updating it to the Fall Creators update twice but have experienced very bad mouse lag in games & sometimes on the Desktop.

 

I use an assistive technology device called SmartNav https://www.naturalpoint.com/smartnav/products/3-at/.

 

I have queried the Windows 10 forums and have been advised to check my PC's compatability with version 1803:

Hello,

 

My laptop is a HP Pavilion x360 ba183nd and I would like to know if it is possible to connect two monitors on my laptop. One monitor, ofcourse, is connected through my HDMI port. Is it possible to connect the other one through an USB port with for example a external videocart adapter? I have tried several adapters, but without succes.

Hello,

 

I have an Elitebook 820 G2 that is equipped with a 1366x768 display. I saw that there are also models that have a 1920x1080 display (I did a little bit of research and think the higher res display is product no. 781864-001).

 

I would very much appreciate if anybody knows and lets me know whether it is possible to just upgrade the display without having to change anything else about the hardware, i.e. without having to exchange cables, motherboard, etc.

I have a HP notebook that should be under mfg. warranty for an existing issue.  However the HP warranty portal registers the end date as May 2018 when it should be Sept. 2018 (I have the purchase receipt).  Also, my attempts to resolve the issue on the Warranty Dispute portal starts and ends there with no additional options to move forward.  How do I correct the warranty end date and then request a warrany repair?

Hi so yesterday I was on my hp pavilion and it was working fine and i switched it off normally from the control centre.

I prefer wired mouses on my laptop so i have been using it since yesterday as well.

Today i switched my laptop on and just out of nowhere the touchpad wasnt moving in its normal way and was only letting me move left and right. the keyboard works fine and Ive tried putting it on and off with no success.

I havent tried a hard reset just yet and ive also tried a update for the touch pad.

Please help I really hope this isnt a costly repair as I literally bought this computer less than a week ago (was 6 months old when I bought it from a previous user).
