While attempting to do some work with a new applicant, we ran across the unpleasant surprise of having a non-functioning rear (main) camera. The front camera works well for selfies or video calls. I have:
- attempted to search forums and found that others have had this problem and HP refuses to provide technical solutions.
- reviewed privacy settings and found the Camera app NOT present in app permissions for the camera.
- downloaded alternative camera applications in hopes that this could be resolved.
- received the following error message upon trying to switch to the rear camera in the Power Cam app:
Will HP provide a solution for their consumers or will consumers be forced to look at Samsung, Microsoft, Lenovo and other providers in our next purchases?
