hp pavilion wont start
Hi my hp Pavilion g7-1075dx Notebook PC will not start. When I power it on the fan runs for a second then quits and the only things that comes on is the power button and the wireless button that looks like a cell tower (it only turns on orange though.) Not even the caps lock or num lock buttons will work. Im not sure if this is a display issue or something else. Ive tried doing the hard reset and checking the memory but neither has worked. Ive also tried using an external display. I would really appreciate if anybody could help me out.

HP G62 Screen Going off during Video
Hi,
I got HP G62. It is working properly with anything but when I start any Video, after aprox 5-10 minute screen going off. I was thinking it is problem due to system fan is not working properly but I replaced System Fan. But still same problem. I will be really appreciate who will be give me proper advice on this issue please.

Intel(R) HD 4000
I would like to update the driver of my Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 graphics card but it won't let me saying either it's up to date (which it is but I would like to install another driver update to support a game I want to play (Titanfall)) or the setup that I downloaded from the Intel website says that it isn't "validated for this computer" which I know for a fact it is. I tried manually installing it but that didn't work either. It still says Driver Version 9.18.10.3071 when I would like to update it to Driver Version 15.33.18.64.3496 that I downloaded from this link:

8.1 update issues
I recently did the update from windows 8 to 8.1. Since doing so, when I log in to my user account the screen consistently blinks and doesn't allow me to select anything. I seem to be missing any/all apps. But I can't even open my desktop to see if anything else is missing.

No display after BIOS update
I was able to perform the bios update this morning.. but after the reboot there were no display for about 30 minutes. What should I do?

screen keep flasing
I was running my HP Envy win8/m4-1015DX last night and the screen started to flash off and on. I wasn't able to open or close any of the applications after it started. The only way I could shut down the computer was to hold down the power button. Any ideas?

I have a dv9500 whose display is not working. Many others have the same problem so it it likely a faulty GPU on the motherboard. Can I get around the problem by simply attaching an external video card?

HP Envy M6 Notebook Graphics Problem
Second Life (virtual world game) keeps telling me there is bound to be an upgrade for my graphics (they do not support the game.) I just downloaded the latest upgrade, but the graphics in the game are still flickering and if I move them to "high", I crash off the game. Also crashing happens fast when I increase the draw distance even a small amount. I have Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000, current resolution is 1366 x 768; refresh rate: 60 (unless the latest update has increased any of those.....which I highly doubt...It is still flickering screen even on the lowest settings)

Warcraft Driver Out dated
I have
HP Pavilion dv7t-6000 CTO Entertainment Notebook with AMD 6700 series driver
When I try downloading all the recommended AMD detection tools, I get an error that states application failed, or software uncompatible or some other error. I have uninstalling all AMD drivers using the AMD Clean tool, but I got all the same errors. I had to reinstall the HP 2011-11-18 , Version8.882.2.3000, 338.98M in order to get my video card to work again.
I have updated all the windows updates and .net drivers as recommended from other posts. I now also have some AMD Gaming evolved loaded and not sure if I should have that or not.
Root question, How do I install the newest version of AMD driver (Please)?

HP Mediasmart DVD - Blu Ray Problem
i have the same message "mediasmart dvd does not support blue ray playback on a virtual device"
This is a shot of my computer with factory bd drive as it is right now
any time i try tp play a blue ray (every other media type works in the drive) , I get the error mediasmart dvd does not support blue ray playback on a virtual device"

I just bought this a little over a month ago, and today i noticed a black spot on the screen, it's not going away. Interesting this happened three days over the return policy. Any suggestions? I would really appreciate it if you could help.

HP Envy 17 Screen Problem
I purchased a pavillion G7 laptop 18 months ago at Best Buy. The backlight is now out and will cost 150.00 to "possibly" fix. When I remarked to both HP and Best Buy about how long the product lasted both had the same response " Did you buy an extended warranty". Neither cared that it only made it 18 months just if I spent more money to buy a warranty.
To make matters worse the matching printer, purchased at the same time just quit printing. I purchased new cartridges but it still does not work. So I replaced the printer w a NON HP product. If HP continues to make JUNK I will buy a different brand. Their only question is about an extended warranty!

Pathetic Service, Complaint to Best Buy/Consumer Forum

I am quite surprised and upset to get such a pethetic customer service from HP bangalore repeatedly.
I used a Dell system for 7 years in a row and I though they were not upto the mark and bought HP Elitebook 8440P, Product Number : NU545V, Serial number : CND0161P2P from a dealer on 20 March 2014. But it is the same pathetic and irritating customer suport for HP as well. I even doubt do you evn train your Customer support executives for a quality service.
I being a technicnan myself reinstalled the windows and all the drivers however few of drivers were not working and I got in touch with customer support 3 times and I explained them the problem, I also suggested them what driver is missing and gave them the hardware id as well. Suggested them to initiate remote assistance and as soon as the technician was connected to remote assistance software, they disconnect the call. I can say this cause it could have happened once, but repeatedly for 3 times, thats for sure that either your customer support do not have ample software knowledge to assist drivers installation or they are not interested to help customers. This is really pathetic customer support.
I wish we have Best Buy or Consumer Forum in India and I could file a written complain againt this service then I would not be the one worring about the complaint , you would be the one answering the Best buy/Consumer Forum.
Hoping to hear or get a reply from you soon, but seriously I doubt if you even reply to customers.
I would suggest you do that to me and I get a chance to get in touch with Consumer Forum and now I even have a documents proof as well. IN case you make your mind to help a customer , here are my details to get in touch.
