My notebook is 1 year old and just passed its warranty date. I have not had any problems with it, thank God. Today, HP sent me a notification asking me to download the new HP PC Hardware Diagnostics software, and I did. After running the System and Component tests, the only one the repeatedly fails is the Video Extended Memory Check.
It tells me nothing as to why this is happening. Please explain how to fix this?

I haven't used my webcam in some time but now I have a job that I neeed to use it!!
I kept getting Error Message: 0xA00F4244 No camera detected. I went to the device manager and no camera was there eventhough my laptop has a intergrated camera. Finally, read some posts and I was able to download Cyberlink YouCam 7. Now everytime I open Skype or YouCam it still says no camera detected.
Can someone please help me with this problem!!!
Hey I recently opened my laptop to find a crack running through the screen. Naturally I contacted support and exaplained to them what seems to be a very common issue and they quoted a $780 replacement on a 1080p screen with a 6 inch crack. This seemed extremly unreasonable( more than 3/4 of what I bought the laptop for) and just left it at that and told them I wasnt intrested. I have found replacement parts on ebay that are a fraction of the cost but, they are for the 13-4XXX models of hp spectre x360 laptops. I was wondering if these parts would work for my 13-acXXX laptop or if someone could direct me the correct replacement parts. Thanks

I have bought HP 15-Bw563ur (2LD98EA). Installed win 10 (1607 build), installed drivers. But my vediocard amd radeon 530 is marked as m340. I have read few treads here and tried to install AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver R5/R7 - Bristol Ridge (Windows 10 v1709) from here. Now my radeon 530 is marked as 535DX. Tried one more time and now it is m340 again. Please, tell me how to get correct drivers!
Also i tried to install driver for 530 manually from "Already installed drivers" but I unmarked "show only suitable drivers" and only then i saw radeon 320 driver. And it wasnt installed cuz there was the error: this driver is not suitable for this OS.
I can provide all needed information to get the solution to my situation.

I need to order one or more replacement parts for my gal's HP notebook. I don't know what the part is called, but the hinges on the frame that hold the TFT screen have broken, or something to that effect. She cannot close her or lower the TFT screen (currently, she has it in the open so she can still use it). The screen is fine. So, if I could review a parts diagram that shows how the TFT screen is attached, etc., I may able to figure out which parts I need to buy.

About 3 months ago, I took my laptop to an IT business to blow out some dust from the fans, and to make sure there were no other problems. I've had this laptop since christmas 2014 and it is a touchsmart laptop. This entire time there have been no issues with the touch screen, but after I got my laptop back from the IT business the touch screen no longer worked.
It must be noted that they installed the free version of 'Advanced SystemCare' on my laptop.
The HID-compliant touch screen driver is NOT in the device manager. It seems as if they completely uninstalled it from my computer... (perhaps it was to speed it up, i'm not sure). Anyway, i've tried everything. I've checked for all kinds of updates, I've been googling it, checked all the forums, and nothing.
In settings it now says 'no pen or touch input is available for this display'. Which is obviously a recent issue considering this is a TouchSmart Notebook... Are there any safe and verified links from which I can reinstall this driver??
Perhaps there is another explanation for this but to me it appears they completley uninstalled it without asking.

My touch screen will click random places itself without me touching it. Most of the time it is on the right side of the screen where the scroll bar is. I have tried cleaning the screen many times, but it keeps just getting worse. I have troble reading anything like an article for school work because it will randomly scroll up as I am reading. Sometimes it will even close out the window I have open. It is also hard to type because it will click random places on the screen and make me start typing in the wrong spots. Is there any way to fix thihs and if there isn't is there any way to just turn off the touch screen.
Hi there - I got EliteBook very new, casting to chromecast halts after 5 seconds or so;
this happens also here in the office for other hp machines but other machines are ok.
I was hoping to find a driver update or something on this thread clearly this is a problem with hp machine.

I just bought a HP Spectre 13.3 2016, and the screen keeps flickering for half a second then stops. It is unanacceptable and unless I can fix it im returning this laptop.
HI, i just purchased an HP touch screen lap top (used) but i noticed that if i take if off the charger my back light on screen goes very dim and i cant see much. is it the battery that is bad?

I am having a continuous problem with my convertible laptop HP spectre. During the day the screen is not responsive, and turn black off and on in seconds. In some occastion it will be back to normal most of the time i need to restart the laptop to fix it.
My laptop is running on the latest BIOS update recommended by HP, and lastest Windows 10 update.
Any solution for this behaviour?
Hey there! I am haveing trouble with touchscreen on my HP 15 Notebook PC. I had a virus on it, so I took it to a local store to get it fixed. I got it back, and I didn't have touchscreen on anymore. I am very confused, since I am not sure what I have to do to restore touchscreen on this. Do I download something, or do I have to adjust a setting? Thank you.

I suddenly noticed I couln't change the brightness with the function Fn keys.
Windows Nighlight is greyed out. And screen is on full brightness which isn't fun in the evening.
I first searched for some tips on this forum reinstalled the video drivers voor the intell (intel 620 and nvidia 930mx)
I reinstalled the hotkey support.
But still not possible to change the brightness
I can change audio volume, so other fn options are working.
Then I reinstalled windows 10 with the recovery image, but the problem still persists.
What else can be done?

Does this model of the spectre support Microsoft Pen Technology?

I have recently bought this New Laptop, but I'm very disappointed as it can’t "cast tab" and "cast desktop" using Chromecast Ultra. My old 2012 Acer laptop and Chromecast works like a charm. Hoping there is a fix to this issue.

After upgrading Windows 10 to 1803, Device Manager shows an admiration icon next to Intel(R) HD Graphics 620: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43 error.
I don't know if this is related with another issue. HP Support Assistant shows two drivers as Available Upgrades although I've installed both of them successfully -a number of times!- through this module:
NVidia 2016 HG Video Drivers 64 bits
Realtek USB and PCIe Media Card Reader Drivers
Any suggestion will be very welcome.

I don't have any software installed about th Web Cam.
I've tried to find divres and softwares, but I couldn't, I didn't find for my model.
When I test it in Skype for example the light of hardware turns on but the image does not appeard (print below).

Hello everybody,
so I bought a HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb009nm (https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c05673048) couple of months ago and ran windows 10 x64 on it and it was all fine for some time.
Then, recently, laptop just started slowing down on doing things like watching youtube videos or movies (in numerous different video players), animations/transitions in windows when minimizing chrome, windows explorer or anything similar also slowed down massively and even working in MS excel (office 2016 x64) started to lag so much that every time i moved a cursor/arrow it lagged half a second before it would move.
Naturally, I checked to have all most recent windows updates and most recent drivers for the pc with bunch of windows restarts but no luck.
I thought ok, it might be some 1 in a million software conflict or smt like that. I'll just reset the OS.
So I've done that just today, put win10 x64 once again and put all most recent drivers on it. Restarted dozens of time. No change. Laptop is once again doing the same things.
For youtube videos it's a flinch/quick screen freeze like every 7-10 seconds, for movies it's the same thing while it once went so far I had a FPS of like 0,1 where the screen changed every 10 seconds and it was freezed in the meantime while for MS excel it sometimes workes fine and sometimes it doesn't.
I've went through similar topics here on the forum, checked at task manager processes, there's no funny sound coming out the laptop while it's steadily working and yeah. don't know what to do next.
please provide some guidance on how to resolve this as I use it for business purposes and this is starting to be unbeareable
