Installed Windows 8.1 Pro x64
Previousely i had Windows 10 Corp x64.
And some devices didn't work - fingerprint, phone etc. (some drivers were installed incorrectly, and some were missing)
And stylus worked incorrectly: for example, in paint application - when i touched screen with "eraser" side, i could draw a line; when i touched screen with "writing" side, nothing happens; when i pressed button, mouse pointer became a circle and nothing happened also. Stylus is "native", not a spare part.
I thought, that this is a problem with stylus drivers. So, i've reinstalled Windows. And i choosed OS, that is most compatible, AFAIK.
In device manager i can see, that everything is fine, all appropriate drivers installed.
I've downloaded drivers for stylus (and all others) from HP support website.
I can set option "use stylus" in windows settings, and i can specify, that this stylus has an eraser and a button.
But it still works incorrectly. When i want to "handwrite" something, using on-screen handwriting keyboard, i write with "eraser", and no other stylus options work. But when i press button, mouse pionter becames a circle, and when i touch screen with "writing" side, pointer becomes a "pointer", while it was a crosshair if "writing" side is close to screen.
I can't find a way to reassign button/writing/eraser functions anywhere - i can only set dblclick timeout and accuracy.
So, i don't know - if this problem is with stylus, or with firmware, or with screen touch panel.
I can buy a spare stylus, but i'm not sure it will help. And i hope, there's a diagnostics tool, that can tell me if my stylus is buggy or my tablet.
Any ideas?
