Cursor jumps all over the screen erratically when trying to use touch pad. I think this started after a Windows 10 automatic update.
I have uninstalled the touchpad driver several times and restarted many many times. Sometimes I have a temporary fix.

I just bought a Meko stylus by Asin: B00N1BRWLA on Amazon USA to use with my HP Spectre x360 running Windows 10.
Unfortunately it doesn't work very well with the touchscreen; I have to press it so hard that the screen wobbles back and forth. I find this strange because it is very sensitive when I use my finger; a light touch suffices.
Is there a setting where I can remedy this? In Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Tablet PC Settings > Calibrate, does that calibrate for pressure sensitivity or just location accuracy?
Would anyone recommend a specific stylus or pen to use? I don't want the fancy stylus hawked by HP, I just want a simple thing to use so my screen won't get smudged with fingerprints.

This laptop is new, bought from Currys online. Specs stated that keypad is backlit. Is this correct, because mine isn't. Have contacted Currys but no response as yet, so I'm gathering as much info as I can. Should this model be backlit please?
I have a laptop hp 430 g5/intel hd 620/1366x768 . Some images clearly show the gradation of colors. A sharp gradient. For example, the photos display and the original. The laptop is 1 week. Drivers on video cards the last. Is this a guarantee?
where to download the driver amd radeon 530?

just got a new HP 450 G5 and I realized that some of the content is blurry, the other isn't. See below an example, where one window is fine but after clicking a button opening another one it is slightly blurry. Very weird because it is actually the same one.
Or in Chrome, the home button and the search dialog box is blurry too.
My resolution is 1920 x 1080 (recommended) and 125% scalling (recommended). I've got two graphic cards - Intel UHD 620 and GeForce 930MX.
Any ideas what the problem could be?

Please help me out with this problem. VLC Media is the primary media for me which I use for videos as well as audios. The issue is the "red message that pops up" all the time saying that there is a problem in the module or something. I thought there is a problem with the update so I updated my media file. But, inspite of that I couldn't get a fix. I just need a permanent solution for this. Please help me out guys! I really need to watch my shows and everything.

This has been an annoyance for quite some time and I cannot seem to find any help on it. When typing in laptop mode, randomly, a pop-up message will appear in the upper left-hand corner.
The message/notification box only appears for a few seconds, but when it does, it interrupts my typing and keystrokes are not recorded. It happened twice while typing this post (so, it is fairly frequent).
I can put my tablet in tent mode, which enabled the rotation lock setting. I set rotation lock to "on". This corrects the problem; however, obviously, the screen no longer rotates.
So, is just seems like the message is inappropriately displaying when I am typing and when rotation lock is disabled. Is there any way to fix this?
Hello, I noticed a crack at the bottom of my screen beneath the hp logo, was worried at first because I honestly didn't have a clue where it came from as I have never dropped or banged my laptop. Recently I have noticed that the crack has begun to spread across my screen. Laptop works perfectly but I am upset because I haven't even had it for a year yet and I'm worried that it will affect my touchscreen. The crack was not my fault and I was hoping to get it fixed as I am still under my warranty. What can I do?
Hello, 3 days ago I bought HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb038ur. The battery type is 4-cell, 70 WH Li-ion. I want to ask what and how many hour is maximum time of battery, when its full charged. Because my laptop's battery time is maximum 2 hours, or maybe lower, and i want to know do i need replacement?
for the last few months when getting on my laptop, the touchpad wouldn't work so i would have to go to the control panel, in the mouse properties, i would have to disable it and then enable it to be able to use the touchpad.
Yesterday i checked for updates and updated it, with a complete reboot and everything was working fine but now for some reason my touchpad will not work, whatsoever.
I've tried double tapping the upper left corner of the touchpad and it didn't work. I do not know where the USB port for my wireless mouse is so touch screen is my only option at the moment.
Can anyone please help me because it's driving me nuts to only be able to use touchscreen

My laptop was purchased in the UK 2.5 years ago and I'm now in NZ. The machine is no longer under manufactuer's guarantee but under extended guarantee from the company from whom I purchased it back in the UK.
For the past couple of months I've been getting random black (or inverted) dots on my screen - these have progress from a few to now covering the right half of the screen on the desktop, Word and Excel. No dots appear on the BIOS screens nor when I'm watching a movie on either TVNZ or Netflix.
HP Support (I have a case reference number) have installed the latest Nvidia driver and then uninstalled it again and Intel (R) HD Graphics 550. None of these actions have been successfully in ridding the laptop of the dots.
Finally been told that the issue must be with the graphics card and I'll have to have the motherboard replaced.
Not that I'm ungrateful for the HP Support (who are getting me a quote for the repair needed) but would be interested to hear any suggestions, since there are no dots on the BIOS I cannot understand why this is a hardware error.
I have just bought a Pavillion x360 14-ba095sa (i3 7100U, 8GB) running WIndows Pro 64bit (upgraded from Home 64 Bit). I want to get Windows Hello face recognition running, but Windows is saying that it is
"not availble on my device".
My understanding is that this model is fitted with a Windows Hello compatibe [HD IR] camera.
In the windows device manager, the camera device is identified as an "HP Wide Vision HD Camera" and is running a generic Micosoft driver with a date of 2006! I have tried downloading the latest Realtek IR driver (sp79889.exe, July 2017) from the HP support web site, but although the HP/Realtech driver installs without any warnings or errors, the driver doesn't seem to update (yes, I have rebooted :-)!).
So!... I have two basic questions...
1) Is the camera fitted on my Pavillion x260 IR/Win10 Hello compatible?
2) How can I update the camera driver to be the "proper" driver and not an MS generic driver?

Hi just last week I observed a very tiny pixel not functioning.i don't know is it a dead pixel. The notebook is 1 year old . Can't any of every suggest how to fix the very tiny pixel. I put my laptop in very good condition and the screen is also intacted sow why there a tiny pixel failure or died pixel.

I Bought this Laptop One year ago, HP 15 Ay102-nx
When i Start to use my laptop for first time it takes long time to startup and after login DISPLAY driver stop responding message starts to appear for AMD RADEON m430(dedicated ), I thought that it was software falut so i Update the windows and AMD software to latest version but nothing happens,
the error starts to appear Continuosly and screen goes blank for few seconds,
Then I format the whole Hard drive and clean install new windows 10 and starts to download and update drivers both from AMD side and HP support assistant, (HP supports assistant drivers also don't work for AMD radeon M430,
Used all possible methods to fix my GPU like clean uninstall driver and install again, Hp support assistant, Updating BIOS,
Hp hardware diagnostics(DOnt detect AMD gpu), TDR delay method but all in vain 
.
At last i find a solution Currently i am using My laptop on Intel HD graphics 620 by force power saving the GPU to use INTEl GPU and dont use AMD GPU. But I cannot run any 3D application rather software like GPU-z or any game,
Could this be because of thermal paste dead on GPU or my GPU is dead, I dont know I lived far from city as there is no repair shop available near my area and I Hadn't went to Shop since I bought this laptop,
Tell me plz the possible fix solution for this error
If I slightly use the GPU BSOD appears

Fresh new, out from box. After come back the sleep, the colors are too saturated, until i dont change something in the HP dreamcolor assist (1.0.8.51), then is back to normal.
After the reboot, startup no such problem.
I check alredy:
- radeon driver is the latest.
- color schema in the display setting is right,
- colors in the radeion setting is good (factory)
Try to check what setting is changind after the sleep, but
- the color scheema is same in the display not changed
- not changed in the radeon settings
- not changed in the Dreamcolor Assist.
Because i sent to sleep more as I turn off the notebook this is very annoying

same problem if the screen come back after the "turn off", so I think the problem is powering the screen.
Amd radeon 520 is mapped as AMD Radeon (TM) R5 M330?
