Brand new laptop received yesterday. The touchpad appears to work fine until I use either the left or right button. The touchpad then becomes erratic, unresponsive, judders, jumps and generally unusable.
A HP bluetooth mouse still works fine while this happens. Once the laptop is re-started it appears to work fine again. As far as I'm aware all the updates and drivers are up to date.
Disappointed since the laptop is new.

The screen of my laptop (HP Spectre x2 - 12-a005nd) doesn't rotate. The button for automatic rotation is grey, meaning I can't click on it. Also in the screen setting I can't click on the automatic rotation button.

My problem is, I got huge FPS drops when I play game or develop a game in Unity. Normally, I play a game, for example F1 2015 in 45-60 FPS in low settings. While I'm playing this game, it just drops to 5-10 FPS for a second or two, then back to normal. Sometimes it happens once a minute and sometimes once in ten seconds.

Before we start, MY system specs
HP PROBOOK 650 G1
i5-4310M 2.7 ghz, 2 cores, 4 threads, 4 gigs of ddr3 1600 mhz. Intell hd 4600
There is no external gpu slot at all on the laptop, the cpu has intergrated graphics,
So yes the computer does have a pci wifi slot, in some youtube videos i have seen people attach there external graphics card to this slot.
So i have been looking around the internet, i tryed searching my model and see if it is possible to upgrade, so far no answears about my model anywhere, i checked google and youtube.
So my Question is can i upgrade my Computer using the wifi pci slot , for external graphics card on my laptop.
Now if i do upgrade my laptop graphics, my screen max resulution is 1366x768, can i play games on the external graphics card at that laptop monitor bandwidth.
Please leave a detail answaer, because a lot of people dont answear the question, and leave you confused. thank you
Audio will not be audible through speakers and videos will take forever to load. It will remedy itself for a while if I restart but then after a while happens again.
I have WIN 10 Home 64 bit Creators Fall Edition installed. The F4 key shows options for the display but it does not turn off the local display nor connect a signal to HDMI or to the USB-C socket with an external HDMI connector. I have installed all the SW provided by HP including the latest BIOS updates. Can anyone tell me why this signal is not present and if I am missing out something important.

I'm having some trouble with updating my graphics driver.
I'm trying to update to this driver which is dowladed from HP's site:
HP_Graphics_Win64_23.20.16.4877
It appears to install, and I reboot, but it's doesn't work. It is still the old driver which is installed.
I tried to remove the old driver and then install the new driver - same result.
Any one with same problem or a sulotion to this?

I bought the product hp 15-bw064ax some time ago, but I have a problem when updating GPU drivers why GPU reads into R7 m350? and crashes on windows after update, where as in the product spec is listed GPU installed on this laptop is R5 onboard and radeon 530 dedicare, and while running the game and graphics application happening LAG, please help me UPDATE the VGA driver soon,and my last question is actually the Dedicare GPU is R7 or radeon 530? thanks
The Command Center Button is not openning the Command Center. The button is not broken because I had to manually open the Command Center and tested with the ripple lighting and pressed the Command Center Button and the ripple occured so I came to the conclusion that the button was not broken but it is software based but I have no idea what is causing this problem.

my laptop has been working fine but when i was playing a video on youtube clicked for it to go on full screen and the screen has gone black have tried restarting it (even on safe mode) and after putting in password upon startup screen just goes to a black screen but i still have my cursor visable/usable please help ive tried everything that has been suggested on forums with same problem and nothing is working
I upgraded to 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) RAM on my old laptop HP Compaq 6820s, but right after I did that the video card had problems - Code 43 error. ATI Mobility Radeon x13560 has the latest "official" driver from ATI, 12/1/2008, 8.561.0.0.
I have Windows 8 Pro 64-bit.
If I put back in the old 4 GB (2 x 2 GB), there is no error.
Any ideas why that is? I like having 8 GB available - brings new life into the old laptop.
I found this discussion on modifying drivers. Will something similar work in this case?

I have HP dv6-3060em with AMD Phenom™ II Triple-Core P820 1.8Ghz and ATI Mobility Radeon HD5650 GPU,
All the drivers are up to date.
Problem is that some of the new games require a better GPU drivers (and are giving me severe graphical errors because old GPU drivers).
The latest driver on the HP page is from 2011 and on the AMD website the drivers for this card are moved to "legacy". Offering me AMD Catalyst 15.7.1 or Crimson 16.2.1.
Problem is that when I try to instal any of these drivers they partialy fail to instal.
Everything but the "graphics driver" is installed.
I get a brand new Catalyst Centre but I also lose all the settings and functions that I have with HP drivers (adjusting GPU setting and Switchable GPU options).
Did anyone else get this problem?
Since last week there's a problem with my laptop's screen more exactly it goes dark on the right down side, I tried taking screenshots but it doesn't show any dark spot so the Display is fine but there's just this light that might not be working. If I move the the screen upside or down the dark spot dissapears but then it comes back when the laptop screen is in place.
What can cause this problem and how can it be fixed?
I'm not sure how long it has been happening, but I've recently noticed that everything displayed on my monitor is faintly ghosted by about 1/4" to the right. The ghosting is most noticeable when the color of the ghosted portion is in high contrast to the overlayed area (e.g., dark text on light background or vice versa):
I've updated the HP and video adapter drivers, performed the factory reset (via monitor controls) and restarted the computer. The problem still persists, however, though not quite as bad before the changes.
It would be disappointing if nothing can be done. It is only 3 years old. My second monitor is an ASUS VK222H (9 years old) and, although it has somewhat lower resolution capability, has no ghosting/bleeding issues.
window 10 notebaook 64 bit touch-screen, on mousepad in the laptop not a mouse device anyways, i clicked on the right for the option tab pop up to look for new folder to add home desktop but i choice there is all white blanket on the lists that cannot see the title till i moved around the lists these just appeared. how i change it and can see the lists when i click on the right option?
