How do I go about setting up my laptop with an external HDMI 27" acer monitor? Have no idea how to do this beyond conecting monitor to HDMI jack on laptop with an HDMI cable!

display shows green patches
I am facing problems while playing videos. Whenever I play videos on youtube, vlc media player or windows media plaer my video stucks, shows green patches. I am attaching screenshots for reference. This happens for around 3 seconds or sometimes more. All my softwares and drivers are up to date. I am facing this problem from last three months. Please help me with this problem.

Repeated ghost clicking rendering notebook useless
My x360 notebook suffered from ghost clicking soon after purchase, and running the suggested softpaq update did cure this for some time. After a few months, the requirement to run the softpaq update became frequent, to the point that ghost clicking is rendering the unit all but useless.
We have followed the suggestions including reboot, hard reset, all the way through to updating the bios, but to no avail.
The unit is used by my daughter at University, and I have had to provide her with an alternative pc whilst we try to fix this issue.
Looking at various websites and forums, this does appear to be a common fault with this model
We are still under extended warranty, if that helps

The usb ports on back of 32" HP Pavilion Monitor no longer work. Devices do not connect anynmore.

Zbook X2 Pen Lag
I got a new Zbook X2 about a week ago, and noticed there is a significant amount of pen lag in all my art software (I even tried MS Paint just to confirm it isn't my software) and the pen input is consistently laggy accross the board. Not only is it laggy, but the quicker I draw, the more my strokes try to "smooth" out. If I scribble quickly, the peaks and valleys of my scribble dont actually reach as far as I draw with my stylus. When I uninstall the HP Create Control Panel, the lag goes away completely, and the pen responds as it should. It would seem that the HP/Wacom driver for the Zbook X2 is to blame, and needs to be updated.
Is there a newer version of the driver in the works? For the amount I spent on this computer, I expect pen input to be flawless. I have used a lot of Wacom devices in the past, and never encountered this issue before. I would really love a fix so I can give the Zbook a real, legitimate trial, before my 30 day return period is over.
Also, if any other Zbook X2 users can chime in and confirm whether their system has the same pen lag, that would be helpful. Note that I have brush stabilization turned off in all my software, so even though this issue is consistent with having brush stabilization on in my software, it is completely turned off.
Here are a couple of videos to illustrate the problem. In both videos, I drew two parralel lines. You can see as I scribble quickly, I reach the parallel lines with my pen tip. With the HP Create Control Panel installed, the scribbles don't reach the parallel lines, even though my stylus tip does. With the Create Control Panel uninstalled, the scribbles render as they should.

Home screen recovery of HP Prem-Web C309n-s
I just installed my HP Prem-Web C309n-s onto my Lenovo laptop. It works well and all is synced up. However, even before I installed my printer to my laptop, when it was installed on my desktop computer, I have had issues with the home screen not showing up. I've done all the usual stuff: turned it on and off; checked connections; updated all drivers; sought support on my computer HP Solution Center; even chatted with the automated online chat tech. Nothing. I can continue to work my printer with the Solution Center, sure. The printer screen is stuck on the hp logo and the on/off button continually flashes. Any help would be appreciated.

Display won't turn on.
Hey. I have a HP laptop (stream) and my screen will not turn on at all. I just turned the display off over an hour ago and it hasn't turned on since. The screen is just black. All of the lights on the sides turn on though.
I've tried everything I could. I know nothing about computers but I know that I can't open the laptop because the whole thing is bound.
I'm mad because there is absolutely no costumer support. It was working fine prior so it's not as if I could have seen this coming.
I only used my laptop for my college course (which requires word, powerpoint, excel, publisher etc.) and occasionally for Netflix and WWE network. So it's almost impossible for me to get a virus. Luckily, I have all my work on my USB, but no way to complete my documents over the holiday...
Now I have to spend 1K on a new tablet/laptop. It's a shame, my mum bought me my laptop as a present for my studies. She should have read the reviews about HP and their low quaility products.
Is there anything I can do about this or shall I never use a HP product again?

Screen Issue
Where ever there is a black screen display I have red lines flickering through the black screen. For example If I am watching a video and it starts out with a Title page of words on a black background. The black area has the red horizontal lines flickering through it. There is also some sort of issue with images as well. For example a picture of a person will have redish outlines around it. Picture a pebble dropped in to a puddle... Any help is much appreciated, I am not tech savy by any means so please be patient with me.

Probook g2 black screen power is on
Hi,
I have 2 porbook 650 g2 laptops that
power on but screen is totally black
one was out of book other one did it after image..
I have:
done hard power reset
switched memory chip and switched ports
pressed fn disaply buttons
press windows \b and alt\p buttons on boot as articles suggests....same
may be hiberating?? perhaps reseat cmos battery??
I cannot believe that both would have bad motherboards
any ideas???

Broken Hinge on Laptop
Approximately 8 months after my warranty expired I went to open my laptop at work and it made a horrible cracking sound and I noticed the hinge was busted. I took the computer to a few local repair shops and they quoted it would cost around $500-$800 to fix this, a BRAND NEW computer!!!! They also told me it was a known problem on this model so I am writing to you to see if you can help me or point me in a direction of how to address this problem better. Thank you.

My fps is always locked at 60 fps even with v-sync off and nomatter the game I am playing.

I have tried to disable v-sync both on the Nvidia control panel and in the video options of the games, no luck. I know a 1050 4gb can run overwatch at low with framrates higher than 60 fps, my gpu is running at 50% utilization (checked with msi afterburner). I am at a complete loss.

HP Omen 15-ax202na Screen Tearing
Hello,
I have been experiencing screen tearing on my computer while I am playing games. I have tried different things such as going into the NVIDIA Control Panel and changing some options however I am still getting screen tearing. I have talked to HP Support and they suggested that I should Recover my computer which means I will be completely wiped. Due to the amount of time that would be needed to reinstall all of the games that I have on my computer I would rather not do that.
Are there any other ways that could stop the screen tearing or is it best that I just Recover my computer and have to reinstall everything?

HP ENvy X360 broken hinge
Hi,
As per several other members, ny X360 suddenly started to come apart at the bottom left hand corner sround the hinge. It is a few months out of warranty, but surely a well treated device shouldnt do this - and it appears that Im not alone in having experienced this issue. Are HP prepared to implement a repair?
