Hi, I have a HP pavilion 15-n078sl with Windows 10 64-bit with two video cards Dual AMD Radeon HD 8330 / 8670M GPU (1 GB of DDR3 dedicated) The problem is that i have updating the video card drivers through AMD installation program with a version dated 31/1/2018 and with these updates, the pointer starts to go jerkily , as well as the loading bars. If instead one of the two video cards is disabled, the pointer returns to be fluid (but obviously to the detriment of an HDMI connection). On the other hand, if I install the drivers on the HP site, the cards will be returned to work but are not updated (in the sense that the drivers are dated 21/11/2016). Obviously I have already tried to perform a clean installation of the drivers and then to system recovery, but the problem persists. I have also tried to update the BIOS itself, but the problem is not solved. How can I solve?

AMD Radeon 535DX Not Using GPU.

I bought a new computer this: hp 15-bw010nh 2gh64ea
Configuration:
Proc: AMD A12-9720P Radeon R7 12 compute cores 4C+8G
Videocard: AMD Radeon 530 [4GB] (I download graphics card driver from HP drivers menu and converted to AMD Radeon 535DX)
Dual Graphics : AMD Radeon R7 Graphics.
[ But I Can Use AMD Radeon R7 m340 driver from AMD site detect automaticly]
The Problem is:
I can't run any game in GPU only running on CPU.
I tried everything!!
-Change Powersettings to High Performance (Peoples say it's a GPU)
-Downloading/Installing Latest Driver From HP or AMD site.
-I out of options.. please somebody just help me out...

3 HP 27s Monitor setup
Hello all,
I am running Windows 10 on a HP 840 G#. I would like to use the G# with an HP Ultraslim dock to connect to 3 HP 27s monitors for a 3 monoitor display.
I have not had any luck with getting all 3 monitors to work, only 2 out of 3. I am using 2 display port cables and a VGA cable connected to a VGA to HDMI converter as my cable.
I have installed the two drivers provided for the HP 27s monitor off the the HP website.
All cables connectors are secure in their appropiate ports.
Does anyone have an idea of how i can get all 3 monitors to work or know if this is even possbile?

Touchscreen not working
After my touchscreen stopped working I removed the HID Compliant Touchscreen from my Device's List on Device Manager trying to reinstall the device/drivers, but for my surprise after a hardware scan it's not coming back. Windows 10 Home (1709 Build 10.0.16299). Called HP, they tried to reinstall drivers etc, no luck. Hardware works (UEFI Tested OK).
The Firmware updates do not work. Got them from this link
This is the output of the latest update (sp79383.exe), no change on device manager list or touchscreen behavior..
Any solution for this?

webcam images showing surroundings in a purple tint
I use skype quite abit to talk to the family. Ever since I bought this new laptop, Family has told me that I have a purple tint to me and the background surroundings. I checked for all updates to be up to date. I use the camera app on the laptop and sure enough I have a purple/pinkish to me and surroundings. I do not see the colour black well in any of the pictures. Any one else have this problem. In the device manager under cameras. I see two things. one. HP IR CAMERA AND NEXT HP WIDE VISION FHD CAMERA. My previous laptop did not have this ir camera with no problems. could this be the problem. I checked both to see if the drivers were up to date. they were. Is it possible to choose what camera I could use?

Laptop freezing
Hi to all
My notebook got freezes when pluged in AC power !
I mean after plug ac power any input component doesn't work like: mouse,keyboard,touchpad,touchscreen...
but without ac plug everything is ok.
I can solve this problem by disable ACPI-compliant Control Method Battery in device manager, But after disable that battery status icon will remove and I don't know when I should pluged my laptop to ac power.
All windows update and driver are install and up to date.

Calibration of HP ENVY X360 Chi Mei CMN15E9 screens (the yellow ones!)

This topic is in other places on the forum, but after much trial and error and some help from other members here is the best calibration file I can offer.

To load this file go to Control Panel - Colour Management
Check that the tick box - use my settings for this device - is checked.
Then use the ADD button. Then use the Browse button to find the above file on your PC. Select file, then press ADD button.
You may need to select Add from the above screen again to find the file from Associate Colour Profile list.(pic below)
Once you have the profile showing like I have in image #1, then click - Set as Default Profile.
You should see the colours of your screen change. Might be a little, might be a lot. Anyhow, if you get no change, try a quick re-boot of the PC. That helped me first time I used this.
Final note, make sure your AMD Settings Colour temperature is set to 6500K. This is what was used when the display was calibrated. If you want to change yourself after the profile is used then feel free. I have checked with some calibration tools and this is pretty spot on what you should need. This was done at night, and so the colour cast can change in the change of light, but from a 'night' perspective this is really good. Bright screen and as white as you can get this panel to go without bleaching the colours. For best web results I use Opera Browser which faithfully re-produces the ICM settings. Other browsers can add their own spin on colour - so be warned!

Need to turn off mouse pointer in middle of laptop keyboard.
I need to get the small black round mouse pointer button in the middle of my new, work issued, laptop turned OFF. ive only had this Hp Elitebook 850 G3 laptop a little over a month so it’s brand new. Someone please help me figure out how to do this because all I do is correct, fix, and try to keep up with all the deleting of whatever I’m writing/typing up. I am so frustrated with this HP laptop I just want to give it back and ask for my OLD laptop. At least it worked. I’ve even removed the rubber cover hoping it would help but to no avail. I hate using it and dread starting it up due to this issue!!! Here’s the info off my laptop in case it might help with identifying the problem and solution: Windows Edition: Windows 7 Enterprise, copyright 2009. System: 64 bit OS. On the bottom it shows Pro Windows.
Any help or assistance would be hugely appreciated!

connecting new 15-bs112nl laptop to USB 3005pr Port Replicator, HDMI exit doesn't work
I have just connected new 15-bs112nl laptop to existing HP 3005pr port replicator. USB is managed well. LAN connection was not working, after driver update I got it working. However I still have HDMI port not working, so I am not able to point external samsung tv screen through port replicator and I have to plug it directly to laptop (?!). Same configuration worked so far with former HP Pavillon, same HP Port Replicator, OS Win10 as upgrade from Win7.

4k lag Elitebook 850 G3
I'm using a Philips 288P 4k display on an HP Elitebook 850 G3 with Intel Core i7 6500u and intel HD Graphics 520. Monitor, GPU and cable support 4k @ 60 hz, but I can't set it on my machine. It will only work at 4k 30 hz (very laggy) or fullhd @ 60 hz (nonsense for that monitor).
Not even 2k will work @ 60 hz and i can't set 2k widescreen, but only 2560x1600.
I tried to update the vga driver with HP official latest release and now i can't even customize the resolution anymore (before i could set it to 2560x1440 @59hz that wasn't good, but decent)
The message error whan i tried to customize the resolution at 4k@60hz was something like "not einough bandwith".
Anything i can do? what's the matter? I couldn't find any specifications of the notebook's displayport output

Hello guys. I currently trying to update my video drivers using HP website ( Hp customer support - sofware and driver downloads). I tried to download the last version on amd.com - it didnt work. I unstalled them and got a lot of mistakes. I have no ideas why. Anyway - now i try to do it on HP.com. I found my model

The problem is - the release date of drivers, that found for my notebok is 2011 year - the year i bought the notebook. Is that supposed to be so - i cant download a new version off needed drivers ? Only drivers that were installed on the computer when it was bought ?

Blurry External Monitor
I'm connected to a 1080p external monitor via HDMI. Certain programs - like Chrome, Edge, and RDP are very clear. However, other programs like Outlook, Excel, Word, etc are very blurry. Is there a setting to fix this?
The actual laptop screen is very, very clear and I love it... but the external monitor is fuzzy on just select programs.

HP EliteBook 1040 G4 does not receive power through HP USB-C Universal Dock
Brand new HP EliteBook 1040 G4 plugged into a brand new HP USB-C Universal Dock. The computer does not receive power throught the dock and needs to have its power chord plugged in as well to charge.
All ports and adaptor configs have been tried, and the HP USB-C Universal Dock does not provide power to the computer.
I have never seen a Dock that does not provide power and would have never purchased one that didn't. I thought one of the main features of any Dock was to provide power.
Is the HP USB-C Universal Dock just a very expensive USB hub?

Using 2 External Monitors with My Septre 15" Notebook
I have a Septre15 Notebook and am currently using an external monitor when i am working at my desk. I plug right into the HDMI port, boot up the notebook, close the cover, add a bluetooth keyboard and I have a working Ent4rnal monitor. When I travel, I use the notebook monitor.
Can I add a second desktop monitor to be used when I am at my desk? My notebook has 1 HDMI Port which I am curentlyt using for my first monitor. I have two usb ports available that I could use. I also have right next to my HDMI port on the right side of the computer a very small port which I am not sure what it is used for. There is also another port which I think is the USB -C port.
Any thoughts of making this work.

USB-C port to USB-C monitor not displaying. "Display connection might be limited"
I recently purchased 4 HP ProBook 450 G5s for my company. They were purchased because of the USB-C's ability to both charge and provide an external display. I am unable to get the external display working and get the Windows Message that the "Display connection might be limited". I contacted support before I purchased these and they said that what I was looking to do would work. Charging works fine but why is the external display not shown? I've tried every update available and it still is not working.
