Black spot on my hp laptop screen
Hi, my hp laptop product number is L0E59EA#ABV and the serial number is CND449D4JY.
Its been , i guess, 3 to 4 months I am having balck spot on my screen and now it has grown big plus yesterday i found out one more small one. At 1st i thought it must be ink mark but no. I felt a scratch on the screen both times. i thought the ink must have dried up and i removed it. Help me please!! i dont want the new one to grow big like the older one. Help!!

Fix "unsupported signal check your device output" HDMI error
Hi,
My laptop was working perfectly with my TV monitor until a few days ago when I started getting the "unsupported signal check your device output " error. I am projecting from a HP laptop (Windows 8, Intel core i3) to a Sony Bravia TV via HDMI.
I have updated the graphics driver on my laptop as well as tried all the screen resolutions available.
I still get the same error with a black screen on my laptop when I plug the HDMI cable in, eve if the TV is off when I connect the cable, still a black screen.
I also cannot get the HDMI audio option on Sound Playback, there is simply no option for HDMI even with Show Disconnected deviced ticked.
I assume this means the error must a setting on my laptop? Any suggestions?

HDMI-Envy 13 adapter
Hello everyone, I recently bought an ENVY 13 ad018 na laptop and I need to connect it to a projector loading an HDMI connection.
Does any of the adaptors allowing the connection to the following ports work for me? ( -Mini-HDMI; -Display Port (MAC); -Micro-HDMI; -DVI )
If not, which adaptor for which port do I need?

Programs Are Tiny On OMEN
My new OMEN displays some progrma screens very tiny. Have played with display settings on machine and inside program to no avail. Here are two examples, but not all programs have this issue.

Screen flashing intermittenly on brand new HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae089tu
Just bought my new HP Spectre x360 - 13-ae089tu on 11th of March 2018 and encountered few issues below.
1. The screen flashing intermittenly to a black screen for about two seconds each time and it will comes back itself.
2. When I wanted to shut down the laptop, the shutdown button or the restart button was not functioning at all. Tried both using mouse to click or touch screen also not working.
Anyone facing the same issue? I have requested the retail store sales person to upgrade my SSD hard drive to 512GB instead and have him to do the setup for me. Would the issue was causing by the Windows 10 OS installed by the salesman? If I go under setting > recovery > reset this pc, will this resolve the issue? I am afraid if I proceed with this step, my Windows 10 will gone due to the current SSD was not the original SSD attached with the laptop out from the factory?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Regarding greenish white display on hp pavilion power cb052tx laptop
I have bought this laptop before 2 weeks and i have been using it for last two weeks
I noticed one problem in display that the laptop screen looks greenish , and i tried to change color profiles and all but it is still greenish white and not the perfect white , which is distracting. please help me to resolve this issue as i paid hefty money for this laptop. I don't expect the screen to be uncomfortable

Cursor offset: When I click/drag, the wrong text is highlighted
In this picture, I have TRIED to place the text cursor and select the word "aliquip" (in yellow). But instead, you can see what ACTUALLY ended up getting selected was below and to the right of the cursor (blue). I am seeing this behavior consistently across ALL my programs. There is a small but consistent (and annoying) offset between where the cursor appears to be on the screen, and what is actually selected when I click.
Has anyone else seen this, and any idea how to fix it?

The max resolution from HDMI output is 1920 x 1080. Can i have 2560x1440 ? And if yes how can I do it ?

Touchscreen on notebook not working
The touchscreen on my Envy touchscreen notebook is not working. I know that it is a touchscreen notebook, aside from it saying touchscreen in the lower right corner of the display I have used the touchscreen function many many times right up to last week. The drivers for the touchscreen are gone. I have followed the hp walkthrough to troubleshoot the touchscreen and many of the items do not apply. In the device manager the touchscreen is not listed under the human interface devices section nor is there anything for it under mice and other pointing devies. I am just trying to get the illusive link to download the original drivers for the touchscreen.

Brightness/Function Keys (F2/F3) no longer dim/brighten the screen.
In order to smoothly work with Solidworks (CAD system), I am using the NVidia Geforce 940MX instead of the internal IntelVIdeo. Brightness/Function Keys (F2/F3) no longer dim/brighten the screen.
Hardware: HP Pavilion 14-bf180nd + geforce 940MX
OS: Windows 10 64-bit.
Any idea how to dim/brighten the screen using the function keys?

Slatebook 14-p091nr new touchscreen issues
I recently replaced the cracked touchscreen on my slatebook with a brandy new one to find out that the touch screen is not working, so I purchased another one thinking I had received a bad one, and once again no touchscreen. I did plug in the old cracked one to verify and the touchscreen with the old screen did still work like it had when I last used it. I have no idea what I am missing here, I see there are alot of solutions for windows based OS but myself and a few others who are computer "savy" cannot figure this out. So to sum up 2 new touch screens and I cannot get the touch screen to work. OS is Android 4.4.2, Thank you in advance for the help.

Schede video a scatti
Salve, vi pongo un mio problema. Ho un HP pavilion 15-n078sl con Windows 10 64-bit con due schede video GPU Dual AMD Radeon HD 8330/8670M (1 GB di DDR3 dedicata) Il problema è che aggiornando i driver della scheda video tramite programma di installazione dell'AMD vengo aggiornate ad una versione datata 31/1/2018 e con questi aggiornamenti, il puntatore inizia ad andare a scatti,cosi come le barre di caricamento. Se invece disattivo una delle due schede il puntatore ritorna ad essere fluido(ma ovviamente a svantaggio di una connessione HDMI che non funziona per driver non aggiornati). Se invece installo i driver presenti sul sito HP le schede tornano a funzionare ma non sono aggiornate(nel senso che i driver sono datati 21/11/2016). Ovviamente ho già provato ad eseguire un'installazione pulita dei driver e successivamente un rispristino del sistema , ma il problema persiste. Ho anche provato ad aggiornare il BIOS stesso, ma il problema non viene risolto. Come posso risolvere?

HP Stream 11 backlight gone from intermittent to not functioning
My roughly two year old HP Stream 11 began to have an intermittent screen backlight several months ago but if I opened it more or less the light would come on and I'd be able to use the machine effectively. Over the past few months the problem has become worse and worse with the need to tweak the opening "just right" to get the backlight to come on and stay on. This morning I'm completly unable to find any opening angle that causes the backlight to illuminate. I can see that the mach is up and running via the faint unbacklit image that a good light allows me to see.
Any ideas as to what's caused the problem and a possible remedies?
