Connecting two HP computer to a monitor
I would like to connect my 2 computer to one monitor. I have a HDMI Bi-Direction switch. If possible to do can you explain wiring diagram. My 81 years old is not as fast as it used to be.

Black areas in display become blue vertical lines
I have set this laptop aside because it had a problem, which I wish to solve so my daughter can use it. It works perfectly, but in black or very dark areas the color turns to blue vertical lines.
I am wondering if this is a software problem, or a hardware problem. If it is a hardware problem, the problem shoul remain in the same area, unless it is a videocard problem. But Then I want to identify the item to be changed, as I do not want to pour too much money in this old thing. I would take any suggestions, I have attached a screen shot, which may not the problem as I believe it is an output problem

Touch screen missing driver
Hello-
I, like many others, have an issue with a missing touch screen driver. My Hp is up to date with updates, and when I look under the device manager (HID tab) the driver is not listed. Yes, it is a touch screen Hp laptop, I used it for over a year before I had this issue. I updated the drivers that I could. What is the touch screen driver called or where is it listed so I can reinstall it?
Any insight would be great. Thanks.

LCD SCREEN BAD
I bought the laptop only two months ago brand new from Wal-Mart. I noticed the LCD screen had a faulty pixel or discolorization in the bottom right of the display. As I continued to use the laptop it continued to get worse. The LCD display was eventually to the point that I could not use it. I contacted the "techinal support" and I paid money ($40) to have the laptop sent to HP. After a week and a half, I was contacted by email. I was given a repair quote of $481.49 for them to fix the defect that clearly was not caused by me. I was the only person to use the laptop. I am 40 years old with no kids and I have several computers and have been using them since I was a child. I build computers and I know a lot about them. My first computer was a 386 before the internet when I used the BBS. I did not drop, scratch, bump, ding or apply pressure to the laptop in any way! There is not a scratch or any type of physical imperfection inflicted by myself on the computer. I am so very upset to receive a bill to fix a laptop display that I bought just two months ago. I paid $299 plus tax brand new from Walmart two months ago and HP is demading that I pay $40 (postage to HP) $481.49 (Repair quote).
This is not acceptable. I would like any help as to who I can contact. I want this to be known that HP has totally ripped me off.

display rotation
I just got this rebuilt computer today. when i picked it up to move to another room, the screen image was upside down and did not right itself; I finally got it to go back by picking up the computer and shaking it. It is like a cell phone that auto rotates, but this does not seem to recognize the orientation and only responds to shaking. I know very little about computers and nothing about technical aspects, and being old-school am very frustrated not to have an owners manuel. thank you. i've also never written on a message board before and apologize for any lack of protocol

Disable Permanently Touch Screen driver due to Ghosting
I'm having ghosting issues again in the lower right section of the screen & the computer is only 2 years old. I've already had the Touch Panel Kit replaced by HP because it was still under warranty.
How can I permanently disable the touch screen driver? I've disabled it through Device Manager, but every time I reboot, I need to do this.
The computer is not under warranty & it's disappointing that I'm having issues again especially since this is quite an expensive computer. I need a solution so that I can use the computer without the touch screen.

Optimal DPI and Resolution on 2018 HP Spectre x360

I just got my new spectre. I am having some display issues and am trying to find the optimal settings for uding the UHD display. I am using the HP reccomended Dock with the two external monitors connected via Display port.
- Title bars on some programs display 3 times as large as they should.
- When connecting to 1920p to 1080p Monitors there is some inconsistency in Window Sizes of Applications. Also the adjustment from 3180 x2160 to 1920x1080 is rather unpleasant.

My 8470P has a 512G SSD and 16G of RAM, it also has an AMD Radeon HD7570 graphics card with 1024Mb of dedicated video, It runs Win 7 Pro 64 bit.
I want to use 3 TFT displays, I have an HP USB 3.0 dock coming (Onboard Ports: HP Monitor stand port x1, Audio-in (3.5mm), Audio-out (3.5mm), PS/2 x2 (Keyboard & Mouse), Serial Port x1, Parallel Port x1, VGA x1, DVI x1, Display Port++ x1, USB 3.0 x3, USB 3.0+ x1, Ethernet x1) and a 230 watt PSU. Will I need any patches/parts to run the 3 monitors, is it even possible? Will the video card run full HD 1080 resolution? Thanks to you all.
