My touchscreen function on my laptop quick working unexpectantly. The driver is showing a problem but there are no drivers available to fix it. Can someone please tell me what to do or give me the driver to fix this issue. When I look at the system information is says that no driver is installed.

No communication with £1800 laptop fault
So... as someone who has spent a fortune on a laptop to find a defect, I had hoped CS would be good and resolve the issue.
I posted the problem on the 16th Feb here
On the 17th I got a response saying I'd hear from someone within 4 working days
I then got a PM to say the same thing...
I replied to both of these PM's and the thread to say I still hadn't been contacted.
I'ts now the 1st March and nothing....

X2 Detachable 10-n103 no HDMI output
Unable to output to external video source via HDMI C type, (micro HMDI). Unfortunately on this device, this is the only port and it is frustrating that I cannot find a solution.
'Thunderbolt' test failed with the following ID PTV55A-86N91S-MFGJLK-8GSH03.
Have tried latest Intel HD Graphics driver as well as reverting back to prevoius version. Still no joy. Intel communty refers me back to HP.
Any help would be appreciated.

I need urgent help, please.
My Laptop screen turned black one day and nothing showed up on the screen. I connected to monitor via VGA and small pixels showed up on the monitor, while connected via HDMI nothing came up neither on laptop screen nor on the monitor.
Do you know what it can be from? video card, motherboard?
to sum up, why are there pixels all over the place and secondly why it shows them via VGA and not via HDMI??
Furthermore, I would be great if you could post a link to a motherboard. I could not find one on the internet. if it is from a motherboard, I need to buy one.

My pavilion G7 series gives Blue screen from graphic drivers (Radeon HD6470M)
Hi, my notebook starts to crashes with blue screens. I format windows 7 but nothing change, still continue to crash. So i disable only the Radeon HD6470M graphic driver (not the Intel HD graphics family driver) and that stops the problem and the graphics works perfect. The limitation of this action is that i can't use photoshop and some other features because maybe needs the graphic card drivers to operate normally . Do you have any info how i can enable again catalyst manager (Radeon HD6470M graphic driver) without blue screens? Thank you for your time!!

No GPU driver working for 15-cd006la
I was on CanYouRunIt, checking if my laptop could run some simple games, and I see that it recommends I update my GPU driver because it is supposedly 11 months out of date. Since I don’t know any better, I go to the AMD website and download the app that automatically detects my GPU and updates it. Well, from that point on, my laptop will not detect my GPU.
I have tried:
1. Completely uninstalling my GPU drivers with DDU and a reinstall of a driver I downloaded from AMD
2. Downloading the update through Windows Update
3. Downloading the latest driver listed on the HP product page for my specific model of laptop
4. Downloading the driver through a third-party app that is neither HP nor AMD
5. Done a system restore to a previous point
6. Done a system reset
NONE of these methods have worked. I am honestly desparate to fix this and can’t seem to find anything else online on what could possibly be causing this.

Can't install Synaptics Touchpad Drive HP Pavilion 13 x360 Windows 10
Client's laptop lost touchpad functions after failed Windows Update a year ago.
Unistalled Synaptics Driver program. When reinstalling from SP81891.exe from HP support site, get error Failed to Installed Driver. Tried several times previously and driver installed but not recognized under Device Manager under Mouse. Also Mouse control panel does not show tab for Synaptics.
Have tried clean unistall, reboot, reinstall several times. Also tried older drivers available on HP site.
Cannot due system restore since last time it worked was over a year ago.
Is there a way to do a clean unistall program for Synaptic drivers? Thinking there is corruption in both Windows and Synaptic files.

Display brightness control stopped working
Hello,
I've got a nice Elitebook 8730w w/ Dreamcolor panel. A good pal of mine.
However, my brightness controll stopped working recently under Windows 7. I can move the slider under power control or press the function keys, it indicates the brightness changes, but nothing changes - nothing at all!
Tried reinstalling OS to Windows 10, and updated it. Still the same.

HP won't fix screen that cracked on opening under warranty
Same machine and same story. Buy a X360 machine for the daughter at school in November -- thought the warranty would actually be worth something. In February, daughter removes machine from protective sleeve and opens it. Screen cracks from the left hand hinge.
Daughter doesn't want to bother me so she goes to the local campus store and they tell her... "yes, we've seen a lot of cracked screens for this model, its a problem with the hinge screws ... we stopped selling them ... if its under warranty call HP..."
Still under warranty so I call HP and am told that the *ONLY* way this would possibly occur is user abuse. I come to the forum and find dozens of similar or EXACT descriptions. They want $400+ to fix a screen on a $600 laptop. They suggest that maybe BestBuy will fix it for less. I point out to the numerous other complaints and he claims they don't exist or he would know about it.
The rep then goes through and insists that he's already "escalated" it and the photos clearly prove user induced damage. He then sends me a link "proving" its user induced that starts with the person describing how he dropped the machine ... https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/HP-Pavilion-x360-cracked-screen-still-have-warranty/td-p/4833412 and therefore that is the ONLY way machines screens break.
I don't appreciated being called a liar. I don't appreciate the flim/flam of "we've already escalated it" I don't appreciate filling out a big warranty claim online and then having to call in anyways and start again and get another claim number.
An HP warranty used to be something that was honored. My own personal machine is a z840 and I carry a new zBook for work. However, HP's consumer division has become just another junk dealer -- I can actually buy a new machine with the same specs from other vendors for less than this repair -- new, with a warranty.

Touchscreen no longer works
My touch screen is no longer working on my laptop. It was working fine till a couple days ago when my computer updated. I have gone through and tried every type of troubleshoot that I could find to fix the problem. I also went through my device manager to see if it had been turned off during the update. I couldn't even find the touchscreen option. It's like it disappeared from my laptop. How can I reinstall the touchscreen on my laptop? Please help!

touchpad freezes?
So this is a problem that has been happening for a while, but now it is happening more and more often.
I'll be using the touchpad for a while, and then I'll stop using it (to read, for example, or to do something else) and when I come back to use the touchpad again, the mouse does not move. I'll only stop using it for a matter of seconds, and then suddenly the mouse on the screen won't move. The only fix that I have found is to click the mouse two dozen times or more and then it finally starts moving again.
Please help! This is really frustrating!

HP Spectre 13 (Late 2017) Wallpapers
Hello,
Just got my HP Spectre 13 in ceramic white which looks fantastic.
Unfortunately, HP didn't provide the Spectre wallpapers just like my previous generation Spectre 13 (which I discovered after referring to the forums). I've already confirmed it didn't come on the laptop by going into C:/Windows/Web.
I'm looking for these 2 wallpapers and would appreciate it if someone can find it. (Hopefully in FHD or higher)

Additional Graphics not working properly
I have a laptop HP ProBook 450 go. Initially, when I was using windows 7, my additional graphics ATI HD 8750m was working properly. But when I move on to windows 10 its's not working properly which I think. My display adapter properties show only building one (intel) ( please see the attached). Though Ati Catalyst software installed correctly, there are some applications shows lock.
I need the below suggest from your end.
1) How can remove the lock settings in ATI Catalyst software?
2) Is windows 10 is suitable for for this Laptop?

Win10 64-bit software for HP 22cwa monitor doesn't exist??
Hi,
I just purchased the HP 22cwa Display, and discovered that I am unable to install the software to use it because my laptop (DELL XPS13) doesn't have a disk drive, and there is no 64-bit version of the software to download for Windows 10.
Is there anywhere that I can download the software? I'd rather not have to go through the hassle of returning the monitor just for this...
