Hi, I recently got a new job and got provided an HP Pavilion laptop. My problem is that I have 2 monitors but only 1 display port (HDMI) so I can't display it on 2 monitors. I bought a USB C to HDMI adapter but I still can't get it to display. I also made sure all the drivers were up to date. I was just wondering what would be the cheapest way of being able to display it on 2 monitors?

HP EliteBook X360 1030 G2 problem witch connect to TV via HDMI
Hello,
at company we have NTB HP EliteBook X360 1030 G2. We bought TV and projector for the presentations. Unfortunately, they can not connect to them via an internal HDMI connector.
NTB TV and the projector are detected, it sends a signal according to the system, but the picture is not appear. The projector writes that the signal is out of range (change resolution does not help) and the TV does not respond at all.
I tried installing a new BIOS into the NTB, putting the latest VGA driver from Intel. Unfortunately, nothing helped.

Touch Screen all of a sudden stopped working
All of a sudden my laptop's touch screen has stopped working. Before you ask, yes it is equipped with a touch screen capability. I've had this laptop for 3 years and I use the touch screen frequently for drawing. And yes, I have tried everything listed for fixing this issue. Normally when i look in the device manager under Human Interface Devices, I see a list of probably about 6 things, maybe more, one of them being the HID-compliant touch screen. But in the screenshot below you can see that the Touch Complaint driver is completely missing (along with a few unknown others).
When I look in my settings under device specifications, it would normally say pen and touch support, but now it acts as though it has never had a touch screen.
I was also told to do a touch screen component test to make sure that my touch screen as working properly, but when i went to do the test theres no option for the screen like there should be.
I've checked for updates like I was told to do but my laptop is completely up to date. I've restarted my computer dozens of times but it's changed nothing. I cannot understand why all of a sudden my laptop is acting as if it's never had a touch screen ability. This has been happening for a few days and it is very frustrating. I can't figure out how to fix this issue and I need it resolved as quickly as possible because I am not able to get anything done without it.

Display issue
Hi,
I have a laptop with a strange display-issue.
The laptop boots without a problem and keeps running for about 10 minutes.
After that, the displays drops out and some lines in different colors appaers. (See photo)
The only thing that I can do is doing a hard reboot.
Is this software or hardware-related you think?

hp envy x360 touch screen problem
how can i disable scroll on the touch screen in tablet mode like lets say i go to grab an object an move it around it wont do that in tablet mode only lets me scroll up and down even in games that need you two move your finger around you cant do that anyway to fix this?

I am facing brightness button issue and it happened to me 2-3 times a month i think this is due to compatible vattery as my OG battery is dead when i use laptop using adapter i mean direct power supply there no problem but when on battery i am facing some issues like brightness buttons , random buzzing while playing audio and videos please help me

brightness buttons not working

Can't change the screen brightness
The buttons that change the brightness aren't working (f2 and f3). Those are the only buttons not working on the keyboard. I have updated and installed drivers, software, and system updates. I have also made sure the Action Keys Mode is Enabled in the System Configuration in the BIOS setup. The product number is K1V26UA#ABA and model is HP 15-g23cl. I don't know what else to try to get the brightness to change. It is currently stuck to full brightness. There is no change if I change the settings to Power Saver plan. Any other suggestions on what I can do to fix this?

Problems streaming video
When I try and load a video, it plays for a while and then stops. It seems like its buffering but it remains like this and I cannot watch the entire video. I have checked the internet connection and it works fine. The video streams fine on other laptops so there is no problem with the video itself.

Cursor gone & Touchpad not working Win 10 Stream
Had to do re-install of Win 10 after corrupt 1709 update. All associated updates have been installed
Loaded HP support Assistant and it installed the Wireless Button driver - No idea what that is for
Touchpad does not respond and cursor is not visible.
If I plug in an external USB mouse (wireless Logitec) I get a cursor and mouse works.
Tried installing HP driver SP80964 but that did not fix the problem.
Reviewing various other questions and solutions I note that I can never get to the mouse properties screen that shows the Synaptics tab or the box to un check for disabelingtouchpad when external mouse is connected.
Synaptics web site says to use the touchpad driver from MFG but the HP driver does not fix the problem.
Device Mgr shows not problem with mouse driver but only shows HP compliant mouse. No Synaptecs device shown

HP Envy 34-inch curved display (W3T65AA#ABA) support for 3440 x 1440 @ 60HZ over USB-C
Does the HP Envy 34-inch curved display (W3T65AA#ABA) support 3440 x 1440 @ 60HZ over the USB-C connection?
This laptop (a Dell XPS 15) only sees the USB-C display as capable of 3440 x 1440 @ 30HZ. All the other USB peripherals in the monitor work properly when connected over USB-C (with video enabled). Maybe the other USB devices take up too many lanes over USB-C.
When using a dedicated USB-C to DisplayPort adapter, then the display shows 3440 x 1440 @ 60HZ.
The laptop and monitor are capable of working at 3440 x 1440 @ 60HZ just fine over the DisplayPort on the monitor. But I have not been able to get 3440 x 1440 @ 60HZ over USB-C, only 3440 x 1440 @ 30HZ.
Is that the expected highest frequency when connecting over USB-C?

Replacement Screen
After paying for my laptop screen to be replaced at Currys PC world (via knowhow). Ive found out that rather than replace my screen with an identical screen they have in fact replaced it with a worse screen. My original screen was 1920x1080 and my replacement screen is 1366x786. Since they are yet to get back to me about the issue i was wondering if anyone could link me to a replacement 1920x1080 screen for my laptop. Or if someone has any other suggestions as to what i can do.

HP Omen with LG extended display goes to sleep too fast regardless of settings
I have an HP Omen notebook computer using an LG extended display. Have set every power setting/screen saver/video setting I can find to NOT go to sleep for at least 5 hours when plugged in.
Yet in spite of all that, there are times when the system goes to sleep with in say 3 minutes! Particularly annoying when in a video conference!
I have configured the monitor to NOT go to sleep as well but still happens.
Anyone else see this and/or have fixed it already?
