sono possessore del pc sopra descritto ed ho installato dall'acquisto Ciberlynk power dvd 12.
per la prima volta ho inserito nel lettore (che da specifiche del modello dovrebbe leggere anche blu ray) appunto un dvd blu-ray ma non lo legge.
volevo sapere se c'è qualcosa che bisogna fare prima di inserire tale dvd.

I just recently needed to use my webcam for the first time (skype meetings, etc.) but was unable to do so.
Skype (desktop software, windows 10 app or web app) systematically fails to start video calls. The webcam seems to be on (indicator light on), but no image shows up. Similarly, the YouCam utility is unable to display any image from the cam, and so is the Facebook messenger...
I have followed the troubleshooting advices on this page from HP online support, but nothing has changed. I have also read and tried some suggestions on the forum. No success for the moment... Any idea or suggestion?
I have by the way noticed that the organization of my device manager somewhat differs from the one described by the HP support. Maybe this could be related to the problem? The camera does not appear in "Imaging device", but in two occurrences : "HP Truevision HD" in the "Camera" category and "CyberLink WebCam Virtual Driver 6.0" in the "Audio, video, game controllers" category. Any app/software consistently offers two camera possibilities, both of them failing.
Since the indicator light of the cam lights up when it is supposed to, I would say that the problem is of software/driver origin, but I have no idea...

My touchpad has stopped working after the latest Win 10 update on an EliteBook 8440P. A plugged in mouse works fine but touching the touchpad makes the mouse pointer disappear. The pointer does apparently get moved across the top of the screen by the touchpad as anything I move over gets highlighted.

My HP 250 G5 laptop screen is unstable .
The laptop switches on but the screen glitches and shows pictures on and off when moved.
The screen goes entirely black when its not placed on a flat surface.
When I switch it on the screen backlight flashes a few times then goes black.
However when I connect it to an external monitor the picture is clear and stable.
There is no error message.
My cursor has a mind of its own, this is a brand new 17"inch envy laptop and out of the box the cursor moves on its own. After reading more on this problem it appears that HP has had this issue for a long time. I cannot afford to have the cursor move on its own because i do photo editing.
I'm looking to purchase a pen for my hp x2, but was unsure if the pen/stylus is compatible as the hp compatibility table lists alot of hp x2's.

I've recently bought a HP 15-bs139ng Notebook and now I'm experiencing some issues with it. Since some time I had the problem that on every pc startup the screen started to turn black or froze completely. I was not able to do anything.

The HP Hardware Diagnostics showed no error either, nor could the HP Support help me about the issue.
However I did some research and I think I know the issue now. It is something with either the Graphics Card or the Driver. Atleast the black screen and the frozen screen were caused by the amd display driver which kept trying to restart.

So the thing is the graphics card is specified as "AMD Radeon™ 530(4 GB DDR3) and windows recognizes it as such and installs a driver. This driver though causes problems as stated. So I download the following drivers from the HP Website:
AMD/Intel Switchable Graphics Driver (Windows 10 v1709)
22.19.128.5 Rev.A
and the following:
Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver (Windows 10 v1709)
10.1.1.44 Rev.A
Those didn't help either. So I downloaded a graphics driver from the official amd website.

After the successfull installation the graphics card gets mapped as AMD Radeon R7 M340. Didn't help either still casual blackscreens and freezes.
Then I started a game since those are more graphic intensive to see if anything happens, the only thing that happens though, is that the IGPU turns on 100% but no reaction from the dedicated one. It seems that it's not working at all so I assume that the Display Driver restart loop is caused by the attempts of the os to start the graphics card.
Is there anyone having the same issue or having a solution for this?
I upgraded this laptop to Windows 10. Now the touchpad does not work. I have downloaded new drivers and rolled back as well. I reset the machine to factory defaults as well. The display properties do not match the information for disabling the touchpad, so I know that switch is not set.
I used to be able to touch the language input next to the volume control on the touch screen to get a touch screen keyboard to pop up. That is no longer functioning. I can change languages, but I cannot get a screen keyboard unless I change to tablet mode. I type frequently in Spanish, but I do not like the Spanish keyboard. It is much easier and faster for me to bring up the touch screen keyboar to access the occasional special characters that I need. Why is that not working anymore?

I have installed SP75514 twice now and both times I get the same result: when I insert a DVD, I get a popup that says "Your current version of PowerDVD does not support movie disc playback". What am I doing wrong? I had to do this because I uninstalled the PowerDVD 10 that came with my HP Pavilion, because it was freezing during playback.
What do you suggest?

I am operating a laptop on the left and a monitor on the right, when I move mouse curor it needs to go to left outside laptop monitor before coming into view on the right in monitor, how do i adjust the settings so i can slide the curor to RHS of laptop screen and it will appear on the directly in the monitor on the LHS, there must be a setting somewhere so I can adjust cursor direction from screen to screen but I can't see it. TIA.
Hello, I have an HP Envy x360 m6 convertable notebook running Windows 10. Until today the autorotate feature has been working fine. I'd turn the machine sideways, the "Autorotate ON" message flashed, and it changed to portrait mode. Turn it back and it changed back to landscape mode. Never gave it a thought.
Today the machine started turning on the autorotate lock all by itself, and not allowing me to turn it off. When I swiped from the right side of the screen, the autorotate lock button at the bottom of the gray area was grayed out, so it doesn't respond to tapping. I opened the Settings - Display menu, and the autorotate lock control was grayed out there too.
If I manually switch to portrait mode, then turn the notebook sideways, suddenly the switch moves all by itself to the unlock position, the "Autorotate ON" message flashes on the screen, and the switch turns black, so I can switch the lock on and off. That is until I turn the notebook back to horozontal. When I turn it back to horozontal, the screen rotates to landscape, the switch moves by itself to LOCK position, and it turns gray so I can't operate it again.
It doesn't matter if I'm in normal or tablet mode.

Hello everybody, I bought my Elitebook 1040 G4 last week; in the first login I managed to use Windows Hello then, maybe due to some updates, I can't use Windows Hello to login on my PC. There's no Windows Hello on my login options when I switch on my pc, only pin, password, recovery questions or fingerprint... I also tryed to update drivers and consuequently to roll back them but I didn't manage to use it. Help me plis.
My laptop screen is intermittant except in tablet mode almost all the time, and the audio, which worked on and off, has stopped working all together now. I have removed and re-installed drivers until I'm sick to the back teeth and I just want someone to fix my laptop now but you can't find a number to call or get anywhere. Help me?!!!
