Loose trackpad
Ive had this laptop three weeks and I've just started to notice the trackpad making a slight click noise when touching it. So im guessing its loose. How can this be fixed simply and quickly as i need the laptop for work?

Can't project on TV
Hello everyone
My PC doesn't project images on my TV anymore, but until last week it worked perfectly. It recognizes to be connected to something because it makes noise and I can move windows to the other monitor, but this remains black. On the same TV, other PCs work without problem.
It works ok with another TV, so I don't know what to think.
Can you help me??

random black screen
Hi. I have only had my laptop 2 month and it works fine. But occasionally, I can be in the middle of doing something on laptop and the screen just cuts out and goes black. Then the HP logo appears like it is restarting, then a pink screen saying 'please wait' before finally coming back on and being very slow. Everything I have been doing on the laptop, coursework, internet pages etc are all shut down and unsaved.
This is very annoying and I need it sorted. Please can you help??

No Webcam Detected
Hello Experts ! I am facing webcam issue. I am on windows 8.1 and installed Cyberlink Youcam 5 driver from HP site but when I open the software it gives me an error below picture will be attached, Moreover I have also install another software then the error removes once aik showed me " Youcam detect another webcam will you want to use it click yes " when i clicked the cam worked and led get on but then cam off.
Moreover in Device manager " Imaging Devices " option is missing. I have also grant the permission from privacy but didn't work.Please help me to resolve this problem

hello, my pc laptop doesnt turn on, and the screen stays black how can i solv this?
hello, i have a really basic HP laptop, i am tring to turn it on but the display stays black, and only after 10-15 minutes bring up the HP logo and say " prepering automatic repair " stay like that for another 5 - 8 minutes and than go back to black and stay like that more than 20 - 40 minutes ( and more..).
Now, i already tried to make a data reset, and steel it doesnt work.
I wonder, there is somthing els can i do about it? or shuld i take it to repair?

Color changed to grayscale on desktop and internet -- initial log in screen is still in color
My computer was functioning as normal this morning, and then suddenly the desktop and internet display turned to grayscale. I restarted and the initial logi in screen is in color, but the desktop and internet displays are in grayscale (after several restarts). Geek Squad said it was a hardware problem, and to bring the computer into the store, but I am not in the US until April. Help! I need the color to make graphics for my website.

Screen has a pattern left of the center
My laptop recently started displaying a faint pattern (like little dots) to the left of the display. They are in the same place regardless of the background but darker uniform background make them more obvious. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Laptop not charging, powering on,or lighting up but when i plug my phone to it to charge it does.Why
I was playing on my laptop and the screen just went black. It will not power on,charge,light up, but when i plug my cell phone in via a USB cord it will charge that. WHY????? Please HELP

Cats walked on keyboard. Locked my screeen so i cant see anything
Windows me /2000 professional laptop. The screen goes blank right after you see word COMPAQ and next to power. Button and the launch internet buttons are two little lights that have padlock icons next to them a number 1 in one lock and a 2 in other. Those lights come on screen goes off but is still running just screen is locked off

Trying to connect external monitor USB-C through j5create to HDMI
I just purchased an HP Envy 13-ad1xx (from Costco).
I'm trying to connect an external monitor. Nothing I've tried will detect the screen.
I purchased a j5create USB Type-C Miulti-Adapter (JCA374) which supports 4k HDMI (DisplayPort Alt Mode Compatible... according to the box)
I connected that to my USB-C port. Then connected my monitor to the box using an HDMI cable.
The monitor is an HP Pavilion 27xw. This is a 1920x1080 monitor and I've switched my laptop to 1920x1080.
When I turn on the monitor it scans the HDMI port for some time and says "no signal" and then turns off.
On the other end, pressing the monitor detect button on the laptop says it can't find any additional monitors.
All other ports on the j5create adapter are working--USBx2 and Ethernet.
The monitor works through HDMI with my other 2 laptops.
The HDMI cable works at 4k between my 4kUHD blu-ray player and my 4kUHD TV in the living room.
I even tried connecting the j5create adapter to external power (which is possible but not required)
Nothing I've tried has made any difference.
Please tell me what I need to replace to get this to work:
-Do I need a different USB-C to HDMI converter or is the j5create compatible with the Envy?
-Do I need to buy a different monitor? If so, what monitor have you used with this laptop that you know works?
If I need to replace the monitor, I'd like a 27" IPS 4K flat (not curved) display... suggestions?

HDMI not working with windows 10
My laptop model dv3-4161ee used to connect normally to HDMI but after windows update it no longer detects another display... I tried downloading the display driver for my model but its only available for windows 7 not windows 10 which I am using... what should I do to use HDMI on my computer?
