How do I fix the mouse pointer jumping around issue? It does not happen often but it happens which is very annoying especially when I am in the middle of typing something.
The only way I have resolved it is but hard booting my computer. After a couple of times, that is simply annoying too!
Why does the screen crack for no reason? I have had this product for 3 years, and had the screen replaced once in 2015 by HP. Now it is cracked again! Poor product manufacturing.
Sreen isobviously not good quality or this would not happen again and again!
This product should be recalled by HP and fixed properly at no charge! I will not be recommending any HP product and will never buy another manufactured by HP.
an orange light came on on my mousepad of my hp elitebook 2560p and since then my mouse has been malfunctioning... when i right click, it left clicks instead, it keeps selecting and clicking on its own accord and i believe the orange light is the cause. pls how do i turn the orange light off, i have tried double tapping it because thats the way to trn it off for most systems but it still wont go off.
how to download hp connection manager for my hp stream 11-doo7tu
I have a scratch on my laptop the color is dark ash silver. Is there anyway possible to get this repaired.
Hi,
I don't see a full a screen when viewing a stream. There is a always a blue static bar at the bottom of the screen and a small window which shows content.
What's the problem ?
Thanks in anticipation,
Stephen
I installed the new driver dated 13/08/2017 version 22.20.16.4771 as suggested by HP Support Assistant
When I use the "Suspend functionality" I expect to wake up and be able to work normally
But
The Display (also external Video) show an unusable pattern of line
It is impossibile to do everything and I i'm forced to switch off and restart from zero (loosing everything)
This also happened with the first hp suggeste driver and the solution was a different driver (not suggested by HP Support Assistant)
The same happened to all the "HP ZBook 15 G3" available in our company
For the moment we all rollback the driver to work correctly
Is there a way to lessen the pressure needed to press the touchpad? I am not referring to changing the sensitivity of the mouse but rather the stiffness of the touchpad. My other laptops are much easier. I do not see a setting to change and am wondering if this loosens with use. If you have only used HP's, you may not notice it as much as if you have used other brands. Hoping I can either adjust it or hear that it will loosen as I do like the keyboard otherwise.
I would like to extend the warranty on my laptop, which has 7 months left. I am looking for accidental care.
My hp pavilion 15-Au018wm touch smart flickers during usage.. Please i need a solution Asap. it frustrating because sometime the screen just goes blind (black).. I have to sleep the laptop and on it back for it to come on. Please help
I'm trying to use a Lenovo Acitve Pen on a newly purchased HP Pavilion x360 15-br052od but it's not working...nothing registers. I'm assuming the new pen is fine. Are there drivers or software I need to download to make this pen useful and if so where can I get it?
My Toutchpad does not work when I`m typing.
Can someone help me ?
I recently bought this laptop and it is honestly amazing but has one minor annoyance. The GPU clock speeds usually stay at around 608Mhz instead of 1.2Ghz like they are supposed to be. I've pinned this down to being a BIOS issue because I reinstalled drivers over and over again and rebooted multiple time but couldnt figure out what caused this and then just for the sake of being thourough I unplugged the laptop from power and plugged it back in, it went down to 300Mhz like it was supposed to when unplugged and under load but once it was plugged back in the clocks went straight up to the 1.2Ghz they were supposed to be at. Now the way this seems to work is if I turn the laptop off, take it somewhere, plugg it in and then turn it on like I usually do it will be back at the 608Mhz like before until I unplug it from power while the system is running and plug it back in. This time what I did though was kept it plugged in and running at the 608Mhz and re-flashed the BIOS, this got the clocks back up to where they were supposed to be right after the flash but the issue reoccured after that. Please HP look into this issue, I know it may not seem like a big issue but for someone who isnt looking at clock speeds and performance like I do they could not understand why they are essentially getting half of the performance graphically they are supposed to at times.
They say a picture (or in this case video) paints a thousand words, but I couldn't find a way of attaching one, so I uploaded my video clip online instead (see followng link).
This is the 4th time this has occured of late, with no apparent trigger. I can be using the laptop 2 mins or two hours and it will suddenly have a fit changing the zoom of the screen contents or swiping the contents repetaedly from left to right. The example in the link seems to be what would happen if I double tapped the screen to alter the zoom. But I'm not touching the screen or any keys at the time. All the time it's happening, the window toolbars remain static and the zoom number (bottom left) doesn't change. This happens in whatever application I am in at the time.
It might pause for a moment during the fit, then start again. I have to reboot to resolve it.
I mostly use the keyboard rather than the touch screen. When it happens it seems to suddenly materialise rendering me with little or no control over the laptop.
Perhaps tellingly, it is accompanied by a repetitive imprint to the top left of the screen (just like you see when you press the screen and remove your finger quickly). This remains flashing in the same spot suggesting it relates to a screen hardware issue(?), but what is triggering it and what accounts for the swiping of contents sometimes?
I once managed to hit the x on the internet explorer window whilst it was mid fit, but when the small window appeared to ask if I want to close one tab or all tabs, a pinging sound began repeating as well until I killed it again.
Any ideas???
It's under warranty, so my guess is a physical problem with the screen itself but I thought I'd run it pat you guys first...
Thanks
Ellla
This seems to be a common problem but none of the suggested solutions seem to work for long. Periodically the cursor will disappears then reappears top right of the screen and stays there, jumping around. It affects both the touchpad and the wireless mouse rendering the machine unusable. I've reinstalled the synapatics drivers, done hard resets, restored to factory settings and tried various other web suggestions. Some work for a while but the problems recurs. Machine is 5 months old and this problem has taken hours of my time.
I have Support Assistant, all drivers are up to date. I really just want to retun it and buy something different but prepared to give another solution a go...
