My HP Pavilion has started to open all kinds of different windows on its own. It also zooms in all by itself. I cant even use it right now becuase of it. It seems to have a mind of its own. I also have the ghost bubble popping up everywhere. I reset it to the factory setting and started over as if I just took it out of the box..Didnt work, I also turned it off and tested the mouse and vidio on my laptop, still not working. I ran McAfee and nothing found. I need to use my labtop and I have looked at other forums, so I know Im not the only one. Please let me know what I can do.

The integrated webcan has a low picture quality. It means it is not sharp and flickers. All HW test do not show any problem.
The same result using Windows built in camera app and Youcam. The installed diver is a general windows driver dated 2006.06.21. HP Truevision HD Camera. I guess there shcould be a newer one avaiable, but can not find it on HP support section and it is not listed any driver under that notebook spec. either.
Have you any idea?
Thank you in advance!

HP Pavilion 15-cc504np
FPS drop when plugged in and charging
I have contacted HP support via Chat, and the guy keeps saying that HP validated the 65 watt charger for use.
Because the problem is so easy to demonstrate, i don;t understand why HP will not acknowledge this problem.
Intel RealSense DCM not working, Driver will not install
After finding the correct driver for the facial recognition unlock for my laptop (which came installed and running on my laptop), I tried to install it. The installer popped up with this error message (below). Does anyone have a quick fix or am I out of luck? thanks.

Synaptics ClickPad fails to work on start-up
My touch pad stopped working one day when I booted up my notebook. I installed new drivers, and that worked, but once the laptop was restarted or turned off and then re booted, the touch pad stopped working again.
I have followed these instructions:
"Hold down the Windows key and press R
Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
In the Device Manager window, expand Mice and other pointing devices.
Right click the Synaptics device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall.
When complete, shutdown the notebook.
Disconnect any peripheral, including any usb Mouse.
Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f9 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f5, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter.
Let windows fully load for a few minutes before checking the touchpad function."
and they worked, but again, did not survive a restart.
I have also found if I open the Synaptics ClickPad "Pointing Device Properties" from my system tray icon and click "Click Pad Disable" and then "click Pad Enable" this usually makes it work again until the next restart.
How can I make this fix permanent? Thanks.
Camera Not Working
The camera driver has completely crashed, the only one available on the hp support website is for the intel realsense, and while running the installer it says I do not have the proper hardware. Does anyone know where I can find the driver that would allow for facial recognition to be setup? I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the "HP TrueVision HD" driver but that didn't change anything. Thanks.
Simple PCI Communications controller
Hello community.
I am having a situation regarding the PCI controles in my Notebook Pavilion dv7-4295us.
When I connect the HDMI cable to my TV set, it does not work.
I checked the Device Administrator and found that in "Other Devices", there is an error in the "Simple PCI Communicarions Controller".
I looked over Properties and found this information:
Location: Bus PCI 0, dispositivo 22, función 0
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&SUBSYS_159A103C&REV_04
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&SUBSYS_159A103C
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&CC_078000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&CC_0780
I have tried everything in order to update the PCI controller, but it seems that it is very hard, mainly because I do not have the expertise in order to solve the inconvenient.
So I decided to ask the FORUM in order to find an answer and to find a person who understands that I am not a specialist and that I do need information regarding the Know How completly in:
- How to fix it
- How to install the solution
- How to do that speto by step.
- Or if I have to forget in fixing it!
I have some knowledge about the system, but I am 66 years old and I need some patience.
Can you help me to solve that?
Yours truly,
Rafael E. Llavaneras

Pressing the F2 & F3 keys with the small and large asterisks no longer adjust the screen brightness (stuck on brightest level). How can the screen brightness be adjusted? Please help!
