My screen doesn't appear as sharp as it once was. The messages and all written words seem fine the boxes, lines etc. seem blurred or washed out. Any ideas?

Second screen/project key /shortcut not working Windows 8.1 HP ENVY15
Hi. I have a HP ENVY 15 (Product number: C8P47AV) and since a couple of days the second screen key and shortcut (windows key+p) are not working. I can change the configuration to duplicate screens, extend desktop, etc. but only manually from the Control Panel. I am not sure since when this has been happening as I didn't used the HDMI port for a while. I have up to date all drivers on my laptop with Windows 8.1 64 bits.
Any ideas?

Skype video calling problem

EliteBook 8560w with Nvidia Quadro 1000M - multiple displays
I have an issue with my EliteBook 8560w equipped with Nvidia Quadro 1000M graphic card. I have been trying to plug two external monitors to the docking station (120w) in different combinations (VGA + DVI or DVI + DisplayPort), but it seems that 1000M cannot run more than two active displays at the time.
There is no clear answer if there is a workaround to this issue. I have contacted Nvidia for support, but they only said that Quadro 1000M has a native support only for two monitors, but I should contact HP whether they enabled multiple display in their drivers. HP support, however, sends some random solutions to 8560w with AMD GPU, which is completely irrelevant.
Could anyone please advise whether it is possible to have a laptop display + two external monitors using a docking station on Quadro 1000M? It is a really important thing for me, since it would greatly facilitate my daily work. I am using Windows 7 and the latest drivers.

or can the driver of windos 7 64 bit can work in win8 if i reinstall in win 8..
and if i reinstaal win 7 then graphics driver will work or not.........

Pavilion g6 Windows 8.1 screen brighntess
I've installed W8.1 on the g6 with no issues - all works properly with the exception of screen brightness:
the function keys will pop up the brightness thermometer, and the indicator moves up and down accordingly, but actual brightness doesn't change.
In dev. mgr., both Intel and AMD adapters are enabled and 'working properly'
What am I missing?

My amd driver disables automatically in my hp pavillion 2231 tx notebook pc
recently have done factory reset in my hp pavillion.my note specs are as follows:
intel core i3-3110m@2.2Ghz,4 gb ram,amd 7670m 1gb graphics card,windows 8 64 bit.
my product number is C9L68PA#ACJ.
When i turn on my pc,it displays an error message which says that the driver got disabled.
IN device manager and under amd radeon 7670m it displays CODE 43.

Black screen with faint light on my HP G56 Notebook PC
Hi i have a problem my computer starts up fine but my screen does not turn on but there is a faint light the colour bluish..i live in italy and brought my lap top over until around two months ago it worked fine i decided to link it up to my flat screen telivision and used multi screen. I dont no if i may off done something with the settings ive tryed everything but if i change the settings back to the lap top i cant see anything..i have to now always use my computer on the telivision do i need a new screen or is something else

HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC -Unable to launch FIFA 14
Hello there,
I bougth fifa 14 and I am unable to launch the game. Initially, it gave me an APPCRASH ERROR. I took all the necessary steps that EA suggests, I also scanned my system for viruses, yet I still face the same problem. I would like to know: a) if the Radeon HD 6490M is capable to support the game ? b) if returning to factory settings will resolve the problem? c) If my notebooks graphics card (Radeon HD 6490M) is upgradeable? If windows 64 bit have more issues with gaming than windows 32 bit have?

Ultrabook HP ENVY 6-1100sl Win8 x64 - Vga not detected and AMD drivers not working
So... This is the problem that's been harrassing me in the last two days.
While playing a game my laptop crashed and it wasn't able to boot windows 8 anymore, restore point didn't work, boot fix didn't work, complete hp restore didn't work. So I brought the pc to a tech (I wish I didn't have to do that, but I didn't have enough time to try and fix it myself...) and he made a clean win 8 installation (all the restore methods were broken), with a quite poor excuse of reinstalling "all" drivers too, but then I noticed that the amd drivers for the hd 7670m were missing and that the card itself wasn't detected by the device manager, only the Intel one is listed.
I've tried to install the last drivers from hp, but they won't install at all (Installation Failed: Install Package Failure), moved to the official up to date drivers from amd, same error, I've even tried the modded ones from leshcat, same error.
Tried a clean drivers install after wiping the ones installed by the tech with driver fusion in safe mode, but nothing worked, it refuse to install amd driver and the graphic card is still not detected. All of this, I've tried doing it more than once.
So, long story short: all is up to date, bios and chipset too, the hd 7670m is not detected by device manager, any attempt to install amd drivers (using the ones from hp, from amd and from leshcat) lead to a "Installation Failed: Install Package Failure!".
Any ideas? May the vga be dead?

HP Pavilion 11-e015nr
My notebook I recently bought, like a month ago, suddendly has this red and blueish haze show up at the display screen, there hasnt been any physical damage, the notebook has been used normal, just been carried to one place to another but thats it, no bangings or smashes or anything of the sort, at much there has been like the ocassional physical screen been closed down with a little impact, kind like rapid closing it down, but thats it, a friend of mine told me it could be the ´screen video flex or something, he said, that I might need it to return the pc, but whats even stranger is that this red blueish haze it appears all of the sudden and as well suddenly it disappears..
for example: I turn my computer on, enters windows 8, everthing seems normal, the desktop backgound screen looks fine, but when I open an application, for example internet or windows explorer , this haze appears, when I close down an app and back to my windows 8 desktop screen it gets fixed sometimes, but the haze will definetely be gone if I open a video player and the video looks fine, i can still perfectly see movies or videos of any format..
what could be the problem?

screen has a 1/8" wide line across screen that blinks, otherwise works correctly
I have a 1/8" wide line across the screen about 2 inches from top. It blinks a variety of colors, very distracting. Computer continues to work properly otherwise.

Touch screen not working
Hi, I have a hp envy touchsmart 15 with i7 4700, 8gb ram, and nvidia gt740m 2gb. My touchscreen does not work apart from a few times when I switch on the laptop and it randomly starts working and then stops. I tried all the solutions I could find nothing helped. Some solutions were updating drivers, activating windows 8, disabling the gfx, trying to enable the touch input in the settings (which are not there), etc.....
can anyone help??

PLease could anyone help me to update my AMD Radeon HD 6770m graphics card driver (switchable).
I have HP Pavilion DV6-6001tx
I can see that AMD has 14.2 update but it's crashing(blue screen) my HP Laptop and the after I install the update I couldnt control the brightness of my laptop.
***I have so many problems with this HP laptop since 2011. The day I bought this, after a week it already has problems but the HP here in my country doesnt want to replace it. I'm so disappointed with HP seriously....
