Hi

Few days ago I started noticing my laptop getting slower, I thought it would be viruses so I ran a full scan with malware.bytes. The result was clean so I thought my laptop fan was dirty. I disambled my pc, cleaned the fan and it was dirty. I placed back all the parts and turned on my laptop. The fan the led loghts were all working but screen was completely.black no sign of anything..

Pls help

I would like to disable Intel(R) HD Graphics 520 and to use only AMD Radeon(TM) R7 M440 on my Notebook (HP 15-ay006nm Notebook). 

 

How to disable switchable graphics and use only AMD?

This is and OLD issue and I am sorry I am new to these forums and a 3 out of 10 on computer skills for firmware updates. I have a HP 2013 UltraSlim Docking Station and I have same problem folks had back in 2015 but I am finally moving into DUAL monitors and I have the same problem I find on this blog.  The serial monitor port works fine however the Display port is does not recognize my second monitor.  I am running windows 10 and it works just fine when I am in the office at 3M however I bought a second Docking Station listed above and it does not allow dual monitors.  So I believe it is the FIRMWARE possibly in the HP 2013 UltraSlim Docking station that needs updating.  But I can not FIND a link any longer nor can I find the update on the HP SITE.  Please help..

Yesterday after my laptop has updated and I've restarted it, I connected it to the TV with the HDMI cable, the Invalid Format comes out.  What might be the cause and how to prevent it from happening?

 

I've connected with my friend's Laptop and with his, it's just fine and I set my Laptop Resolution same as his but still, it's not showing on TV.

 

Anyone to help?

I have installed Windows 10 Pro a couple of days ago and installed all the drivers successfully but even after repeated effort im unable to find a compatible driver for touchscreen of my EliteBook 2760p. Now my touchscreen is not working. Please provide any best solution for the subject issue.

my touchscreen has got unique issue. I have tried all the troubleshooting but in vain. driver has been uninstalled and reinstalled but still having same problem.

there is ghosting touch command in the screen by itself (screen is being clicked randomnly without giving any command from my side as if someone is controlling and playing with my touchscreen=ghost touch) ultimately i had to disable touchscreen driver from device manager to work.

I even tried to reset window 10 but again persisting.

please someone help me.

I can't find the HDMI port in my settings. In the audio-settings is the HDMI icon also disappeared.

 

i've always watched movies trough HDMI on my TV-Screen, with HD resolution and HD-Sound...but that dosn't work anymore.

 

I think that te latest BIOS update is the troublemaker but i'am not sure.

 

can you help me?

Hi,

 

I've been running my HP monitor off of this laptop since it arrived in December. Usually, it works okay but recently today it just stopped porting imagery to the monitor. The monitor does work with a different laptop so the issue appears to be with the laptop. The monitor states that there is no input signal from the monitor and cannot detect the HDMI, and then goes to sleep. Again, plugged into a different laptop the HDMI port and cable works just fine so I'm guessing the issue is with this laptop's HDMI and video output. Any ideas in fixing this? I have gone to Device Manager and yes, the OS does detect the monitor. It just can't send any imagery to it.

Hello,

 

I recently purchased the HP Spectre X360 13-ae001nd from the Dutch HP Store and Ive encountered a rather irritating problem, namely, whenever I turn on the backlight of my keyboard, I hear this high pitched buzzing noise and it gets worse whenever i scroll the page or touch the touchsreen. When I turn the keyboard lighting off, the noise goes away. It is quite noticeable when I am alone in my room and within sitting distance of the device. 

 

I've observed that this problem is well-known and that many consumers have this problem with their HP Spectre's (even Intel 8gen) and I am hoping that you have a software solution for this. Please refer me to an expert which could help me solve this rather unpleasant problem.

I have connected an external monitor to my HP Pavilion DV7.  I used a VGA to USB Connector.  I needmy USB to be 3.0 and they are 2.0  Are there any drivers available to update?

Hello I am hoping someone maybe able to help me with two questions.

 

Firstly, is the Dell Latitude 7280 with HP 2005pr USB 2.0 port replicator? 

 

If it is, I am running windows 10 and have an issue that no device drivers are installed but as far as I can see there are no windows 10 drivers for this device. I have attempted to run sp78812 in compatablity mode (windows 7) but this has not been successful. 

 

I have seen on the microsoft forum that suggest that removing the deplay adapters and then auto updating which leads to basic versions installed has fixed the problem for some people. I dont have admistrator access to do the (work computer) so before i go about this option I would like to know if the Dell Latitude 7280 with HP 2005pr USB 2.0 port replicator?
