order new whole display for HP Spectre x360 15-ap007nd
Dear Reader,
The screen of my HP Spectre x360 15-ap007nd cracked and I would like to order a new whole display assembly.
I am based in the Netherlands and I found a technician who can replace.
Where can i order one? It doesn't seemed to be available on the hp parts website. Can HP please support?

Broken screen
Is it possible to replace touch screen alone? Display is quite ok and working fine. If not possible to change screen alone is it possible to replace with non-touch screen?

STILL no answers from HP regarding my repair!
Well, the ignoring game continues. This issue is now costing me money daily, as I use my Pavillion exclusively for my work. Despite multiple attempts to get answers from the customer care phone # as well as emails, I am no further along in getting my Pavillion back from being repaired. I was even promised by some moderator in THIS VERY FORUM named Kevin that my case had been elevated and someone from HP would be messaging me regarding my case #, but I've received NO SUCH MESSAGE!
I FINALLY, after three different phone calls to the customer service # that went to three different call centers and was answered by three different 'agents', one of whom was ABSOLUTELY RUDE to me and had NO CONCERN for helping me, I made it to a supervisor who took the case # and promised me that I would get a phone call back from someone on the escalation team by day's end. Did the call ever come in? What do you think?
I never expected to be completely ignored by HPs "Customer Service" when I bought my notebook back in September. The customer service with this company is just disgusting. I've never experienced such a lack of concern for a business' customer. Buying into this brand was a mistake that I will not repeat.
Shame on HP!

HP Pavilion 11-n046tu x360 PC TOUCHSCREEN DIDN'T WORK
So i tried to installing windows 8.1 . and after i installing all of the driver (driver installed from DriverBooster ) i choose driver booster because it quick , and HP Support Asisstan just show like 5-6 Driver . it even didnt show the GPU Driver and WLAN Driver .
And so on so on. tried to browse the touchscreen issues follow all the instruction but nothing . what make me confuse is i see people have in their device manager something called " HID Touchscreen blablabla" i dont have one i just have
-GPIO Laptop or Slate indicator Driver
-HID Compliant wireless radio controls
-HP Wireless Button driver ( One of HP Support asistan installed)
so i try to think is it my hardware or software . and then i go to bios press F10 . there is Window that you can touch ( basically just F1 F2 F10 and etc ) and then i tried to drag it and it work . the touchscreen it work
so its not the hardware its the software .
Please help me . i cant sleep before this fixed

screen glitch and freezes
My Hp 2000 notebook pc's screen is glitching. The screen wil get these lime green blotches, then the whole scren turnes a blotchy lime green. Also my compuer freezes.

HP Envy 13 won't connect to Acer projector via HDMI
Despite trying various connectors, my laptop won't connect to an Acer x112 projector via the HDMI port. The projector does not seem to detect the laptop (displays 'no signal'), and the laptop doesn't seem to detect the projector (there isn't the usual notification sound when plugged in).
I've tried various different solutions online but none of them work. Help!!

hp pavilion 15-cc112cl dual monitor quest
I have a new hp pavilion 15-cc112cl notebook. I want dual monitors to utilize spanning.
The notebook only has one HDMI port.
I tried a USB c to HDMI converter to add a second monitor. It does not work.
Please what is my solution to this quest?

Probook 6360b - Displayport to hdmi adapter issue
Hey. I have this Laptop which i received as gift from my school in 2012 when i studied. After school i rarely use it, so now i thought my parents could use it. It is still in a good shape and have latest Win10 pro 64bit and it is perfect for browsing internet and stream netflix etc.
So in my parents livingroom they have a JVC 1080p display 55inch led TV they bought 2 years ago, so its not that old. And they also have a hometheater system with a receiver that they connect all the things they need for tv. In this case my old Laptop as well.
So here is the problem. My Laptop only has VGA and Displayport (dont know which version of it) outputs. So i ordered a Displayport to HDMI adapter from ebay a couple of days ago and received it today. I tested it in my stationary computer first and it worked fine. Connected it to my gtx 1070 and to my 1080p TV. So the adapter is good.
however, when i do the same with the laptop. Nothing happens, the laptop doesnt recognize that i have connected anything in the displayport. I have tried various cables and different hdmi ports on both tv and receiever. Nothing happens.
So i tried a different displayport adapter which i currently use to my second monitor on my stationary pc. DIsplayport to DVI. And That works fine on my laptop (obviously i used the regular pc monitor when i tried since my tv doenst have DVI)
So i do know that my display port works as well on my laptop.
So i have tried google, and i have seen people asking the same questions as i do now. But they never got an answer, so i figured i try again.
i have one theroy and that is that i need a active displayport adapter or something. But i dont know. So i really wanted an answer from this forum. I hope somebody have an answer.
I hope this makes some kind of sense! My native speaking language is Swedish

HP Hinge Problems
I have the same hinge issue that everyone else has. Both hinges on my windows 7 hp have been repaired several times. This last time the monitor stopped working. The computer works fine (and I love this computer), but no monitor unless I use an external monitor. I want to know if this monitor/lid can be totally replaced on my unit.

How can you configure the switchable graphics?
I don't see any option under the Radeon settings, Intel settings, or power settings that talks about switchable graphics and how to pick which is active at any given time. Where to change this and where to see which is active?

HP Factory put only one screw instead of Four on the screen holding hinge each side of laptop.
I bought my HP Envy m6-aq003 x360 convertible PC (S/N: 8CG6192TPM) in July 2016 from Bestbuy. Within one year I rarely used that as my university bought me a macbook pro about one month after I bought my HP laptop. In August 2017, I tried to use tablet mode and I did a 360 rotation which suddenly an screw jumped out of the rotating part. This was maybe fourth time that I used tablet mode. I took laptop to bestbuy but they said one year warranty is expired and I have to pay 300$to400$ to fix it. Same result when I contacted HP. About two weeks later another screw jumped from the other side of rotating part without me toching the screen.
So I decided to open it myself. After I opened it, I noticed that screen hinge requires 4 screws on each side while factory have put only one screw on each side. This was the reason that one screw couldnot bear the load and got broken.
Isn't this manufacturer responsiblity to make sure that they put 4 screws on each side. By looking at attached images you can see that none of the other three wholes have ever been used. After contacting HP, they said they can do nothing because one year warranty is expired. I would be very thankful if anyone tell me what can I do about this, as this is realy a manufacturer responsibility.

Can I connect through HDMI my PS4 into my computer and use it as screen?
I was wondering if I was able to connect my PS4 to my Pavilion x360 so I could use it as screen and play there. I see the HDMI port, but my brother told me he wasn't so sure if it was possible. it has a Windows 10 64 bit operating system if it helps in anything.

touchpad issue
Recently purchased my lap top and I am having difficulty with the touchpad. It jumps around a lot!! I am also having an issue with the tapping function. I keep accidently opening links if I tap the touchpad with one finger. Is there a way to turn off the tap with one finger? I have gone into the settings and I see where the enable tap function is located but I am confused because it only shows options for 2, 3, and 4 finger tap (so why is one tap opening links). I understand that If I disable the option all togehter I cannot open any links by tapping. However, I want to be able to use the tap function but I don't want to use it with the 1 finger tap because it accidently opens up links too much. Even if I enable the tap option and only choose 2 finger tap it will still work with one tap. How do I turn the one tap off and still use the function with 2 or 3 fingers?
