Recently the pressure sensitivity for my applications has ceased to work. It works in windows ink, and sketch, I believe. But in the programs I use for work it has stopped functioning.

 

The main program I use right now is Manga Studio 5.0. I cannot get any real pressure sensitivity in there. For a moment it will draw a small dot but as soon as I move the pen it becomes a huge line as if I was drawing at a consistent, but heavier, pressure. 

 

I have no idea what to do, I'm at my wits end with this. I've restarted, reinstalled, and did everything else I can find.

 

I also attempted to use Paint Tool SAI and the pressure did not work in there either. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am at a loss and losing money on commissions the longer I cannot work.

Hi.

The monitor of my notebook  HP EliteBook 840 G4 shows a thin orizontal black line.

The monitor is set to the recommended resolution.

I have updated the drivers of the HP video and Intel Graphics.

Please Help!!!!!

My daughter got the HP Stream and the Sims4 game to go with it , we bought an external hard drive to go with it because the game takes up too much memory . Even after putting the game on the hard drive , she starts the game and an error message comes up " application has been blocked from accessing  the graphic card  "  how do I allow access so she can play her game ?

Hi guys, 

 

Basically the far right keys on my keyboard have stopped working, the keys being: Delete, home, pg up, pg dn, end, right arrow and left arrow key. 

 

Not sure when it happened or whether it could be a hardware fault or software, but in any case I thought I'd ask for other peoples advice before getting an external keyboard.

About 48hours ago I downloaded a recommended HP BIOS update. Following this update I found that streaming video in either Opera or Chrome resulted in black and white display. Displays O.K. in Firefox. HOWEVER, WHEN RUNNING ON BATTERY POWER ALL VIDEO IS O.K. IN COLOUR.

 

Then download the software for my video chip. No change.

Can't get any helpfull information from my under warrenty support. So stuck.  Help please

Purchased a HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cc1xx two weeks ago and it will often not wake from sleep - sometimes after 2minutes, sometimes longer... this is highly frustrating as I have to do a hard power-down which should not be.  TBH I was skeptical of purchasing an HP and I'm afraid that my worries have become valid.  This is an issue that should not exist on a brand new computer...  Very disappointed...

i bought new hp spctre x360 i7 with windows 10, i found the camera is not working, and an error message code: 0xA00F4244(0XC00DABE0) is appearing, i tried to update all drivers but still not working, i found similar problem in this forum and followed the sugestted solutions but didn't work.

I have currently disabled touch screen on my laptop because it gets in the way of navigation when it is on.

 

When I do have the touch screen on, there is like a vertical bar or rectangle, possibly 1-2 cm in width and spans the entire screen verically, slightly to the right of the center where the touch screen absolutely goes berserk. For the entire vertical bar area, it shows the bubble animations as if I were clicking the entire area almost simutaneously, but I am not clicking it at all. Previously before this issue happened (and this problem began to occur a few days ago), that same vertical bar did not really work for touch screen and I did not mind it that much at the time, but now I have to resort to no touch screen at all because of the issues mentioned above.

 

Things I have tried to do:

1. Reset my windows while keeping my data. It solved the issue for a few minutes and then the touch screen went crazy again.
2. Uninstalled the driver, turned off my laptop, turned it back on, only to have the malfunctioning touch screen return.
3. Disabled and re-enabled the touch screen. Every time I re-enabled touch screen, the "ghost touch screen" continues.
4. Troubleshooted my laptop for touch screen related issues; did not work
5. Googled the problem to see if anyone else was experiencing the same thing as I did, and I came across a YouTube video that seems to mostly match what I'm experiencing. Link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfsQd9ZLqRg
6. Wiped down the screen; did not work.

 

I no longer have warranty on my laptop (HP ENVY x360 - m6-aq105dx), which is running Windows 10 (64-bit).

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I first started using my computer, approximately six months ago, the opening screen gave me a different photo every day and in the top corner a message asking if I liked the photo and giving info about the location.  In the last month, that has stopped and the photo is the same every day.  How can I have the variety photos daily?

Having the same problem, it works in sticky notes, but it doesnt work in photoshop, sai, manga studio or any other actual art programs.

Hello I have a HP Envy 13 ab034tu. I want to connect a USB Type C adaptor with usb/hdmi. Now I can't seem to connect the HDMI to the USB Type C adapter. Does this model not support Video for USB C?

I plan to buy an external monitor but the specification said the video card of the connected laptop/PC must be capable of supporting 1920x1020, how can I be sure that I am able to connect my laptop if I purchase that monitor ?

I disabled touchscreen on ym HP Envy 27"all in one computer. Problem is that the bottum of my taskbar remains touch screen. other issue is that mouse hoovers by itself to the bottum and because of touch screen (I think) it opens everything what is pinned to taskbar. Anyone has had this issue before and was able to solve it????
