I have the HP 9470m and this is so annoying.
The text is so pale and so hard to read.
Unless I make the screen large, which isn't convienient at all,
as I have to go back and forth to read.
Is there any way to darken the text?

Display screen is color less
The screen of my laptop has one single color. It doesn’t have any damage or cracks. When I operate it it has colors but as soon as the desk top is appeared the colors are gone.

Spectre x360 - hooking up 2 monitors
I just bought a Spectre x360, which has one USB and 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports. No other ports. I'd like to hook up two Dell monitors, both of which have a VGA and an HDMI port, and also have the laptop monitor working. Total of 3 screens.
I bought this adapter/docking station, which includes one VGA port and one HDMI port:
When I hook up one monitor VGA to VGA, and the other monitor HDMI to HDMI, only one monitor works at a time with the laptop screen on. How do I get all 3 to work simultaneously?

None of the HP experts seem to understand the problem.
My HP-ENVY-LAPTOP-T17 has a display fault, but only with some programs, e.g. Norton Internet Privacy and majicJack Plus. The problem is that some of the screens displayed by those programs are much too small to the point that one cannot read the messages or info without a magnifiation glass.
The answers of all the HP Experts who answered, completely missed the issue as evidenced by what they wrote, meaning they don't seem to have much technical depth.
As stated this is a real malfunction in some HP laptops where the laptop fails to respond to some function calls of some, but not all programs.
I had the same, very frustrating experience about this same problem when calling HP phone support where the technician clearly failed to understand the issue and blew me off.
Again, I know enough to be able to distinguish in this case between issues related to screen resolution settings and faulty computer responses by the PC or laptop to program function call. The fact that at least one program provider (Norton) has figured out the cause and a solution to the problem proves that I am right.
HP does not look very good on this one due to the unprofessional response to their representatives on the HP forum. Apparently, the problem rests on the program side and not, at least not entirely, on the side of HP. Still, HP being a high class company should have an interest to be on top of issues and, as evidenced by the anwsers of their "experts" HP is clueless here.
In another matter, I am unable to figure a way to add a comment to an existing issue ensuring that my response would be connected visually with an ongoing exchange in an HP forum.

Probook 4400 G4 screen upgrade
newegg has a very nice price on a Probook 440 G4, but with a 1366x768 screen. i would like to upgrade it to 1080p. laptopscreen.com carries a 1080p screen for this model, but i have searched the web and can't find any info on whether the stock display cable is dual-link/two lane, or if i need to replace the cable along with the screen.
if the latter, i also can't find any source for the cable.
has anyone done this?

Wacom CS-321 Bamboo Ink Smart Stylus Compatability with HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba008na
I have recently purchased the above notebook for my daughter as a gift and would like to obtain her an active stylus for use with this. Sadly the HP pen which is compatible, is out of stock everywhere, and hence I wondered if anyone could tell me if the above Wacom product would be a suitable and compatible substitute( it seems to suggest that it will work, but I would like a difinitive answer if possible)

Can't find proper graphic drivers for pavilion dv6
Hi all,
i'm encountering problems finding the proper graphic drivers for my pavilion dv6. I've already tried all the drivers for my pc but some crashes the machine (and i must return to a earlier backup) and others don't get installed at all because the drivers are not supported.
The first episode of the problem was given by an improper automatic update that installed a 64bit driver on the machine, causing its crash...after reinstalling the whole windows (because the hp recovery system file was corrupted) and reinstalled the other drivers i can't find the graphic drivers.
my machine is a Windows 32 bit (service pack 1) with an intel core i5-2430 CPU 2.40 GHz processor, 4 GB ram.

Installing Touchpad Driver
HP recently issued a security bulletin regarding Synaptics touchpad drivers.

HP has provided updates for these drivers.
I downloaded and saved the file that contained the appropriate driver for my ProBook 4530s. After double clicking the file, I received a pop up message warning that the new driver may not install properly if the old driver is not uninstalled first.
Should the currently installed Synaptics driver be uninstalled before installing the updated drivers? If the old driver is uninstalled first will I be able to navigate around my computer so that I can install the new driver?

Screen turns into a mess of vertical withe stripes after sleep / hibernation
I upgraded the laptop with windows 10, and removed the w7 installation in the process. This is a new laptop. But now I experience that when ever i close the lid, or the laptop goes into hibernation the screen is just a mess with vertical white stripes. I have to shut down the computer and restart it to be able to use it.
I downloaded the latest BIOS and grapichal drivers, but I'm still experiencing this issue. Anybody else had this problem, and where you able to solve it?

Screen keeps flashing on battery power but when I switch to mains its okay
I've checked win 10 and its up to date, checked the battery and its okay, checked the screen is set to `recommended' and is up to date on its drivers.
At the moment can only operate on mains power as 90% of the time on battery power the screen flashes constantly. Hope someone can help.
