My screen is cracked on my envy. Its a touchscreen and now the pointer bugs out until I bend the screen and the touch screen doesnt work. What type of replacement do I need? Do I only need the glass screen?

Display freezes after coming out of sleep mode.
My Envy 17 display freezes after coming out of sleep mode. Sometimes I get a message like "display driver stopped responding and was reset". Sometimes I have to force a shut down and reboot. Once the computer is rebooted, it works normally. I have downloaded the most recent display driver. What can you suggest? Thanks. Retired HP engineer 33 years.

Display not in correct resolution
Hi! I have this laptop I am fixing for someone else, and I installed Windows 10 home on it. (It had a internet isuue that I suspected was a bad network card, but it works now). However, the display is not working properly. It is in some weird resolution, when the actual resolution is 1600x900. I have tried settings, new drivers, legacy drivers, reinstalling windows, running updates, and even a custom resolution tool. While installing updates, the screen flashed to full resolution for a few seconds, then back, but cropping instead of streching. (not stretching it across the whole thing.) Thanks in advance! (Also, I cannot get them a new device, and they will not buy a new one.)

Black screen with cursor
So i was playing a game on my computer and the screen froze, so I held down the power butt because that’s the only thing i could do. When i powered it back on the hp logo came on like it was booting up...after that the screen turned black, but i can still see and move the cursor.
I plugged an hdmi cable from it to the tv and the black screen popped up on the tv with the cursor. So then i tried ctrl alt del and nothing happened. After that i tried the f8 thing while the log screen was up and after...still nothing...i also tried f11 and that didn’t work...please help!!
I updated my computer to the most recent update as well about an hour before this started happening

Skinny grey line on the right side of my laptop screen.
Hello, this morning a grey line randomly appeared on my screen while I was watching a video. I soon realised that it was everywhere including the BIOS. I would like some help on resolving the issue.

Can't connect external monitor to HP Notebook
When I plug the HDMI connector from a 24" Benq senseye LED monitor into my new HP notebook, a second monitor appears in the Windows 10 Settings Display, but nothing appears on the monitor, and clicking Detect yields "Didn't detect another display". Multiple displays is set to "Extend these displays". Pressing Fn F4 has no effect.

I have a problem with my dispaly resolution as it is showing resolution of 1366X768 after replacing my display panel. kindly help me to revert back to my original resolution of 1080p my laptop product no isV8R97EA#A2N. Or is it a hardware issue.

Camera Issue on HP Spectre x360 2017
Brand new HP Spectre x360 13-ae005na (2017) out the box last night and the camera resolution is worse than a 1mp. Resolution so grainy and unuseable. Anything I can do, or is this going to have to be returned? If there are missing drivers, then where can I get them? To say I'm unimpressed is an understatement. Not a good user experience.

HP 15 notebook lost touch screen capabilities somehow?
Hello there I've been looking through your support page, and I can't seem to find anything that will help me out here, I have a notebook that absoulutely has touchscreen abilities but for some reason when I try to look them up in order to update, change or tweak them it says things like "No pen or touch input is available for this display"
That can't be because at least last week I was using my touchscreen.
Where can I find, reset or install the touch screen drivers? I've checked for the HID-compliant touch screen But I can't find it in my device manager. there needs to be something missing or I can switch back that will enable the touchscreen abilities again. I've looked through the display and Touchscreen trouble shooting at least roughly, and found no help as it didn't apply to my computer for some reason. I can't even find the Tablet PC settings for some reason!
Please help me, I am at a dead end of confusion. ~ Nathen.

Face recognition problem when unlocking laptop from sleep
Hi,
I am encountering a problem when I open my laptop after a period of time on sleep, it automatically is selected for face recognition to unlock the screen when opening. The issue I am having is that the computer screen is telling me that it is trying to recognise my face, but the sensors/blinkers are not on, so obviously it is not going to recognise me however I move. I have improved the image of my face numerous times, but in my opinion this is not the issue at all due to the sensors not even flashing in an attempt to recognise me.
All of the updates have been complete and the issue is still persisting. Is this just something that happens after a period of the laptop on sleep mode, or is there a solution to this problem?

Hello, i am using windows 10 64 bit os. i am facing a problem of graphic driver. i have installed AMD Radeon 7600 M graphics driver. but i don't know whether it is working properly or not. because when i had upgraded my os. i had compulsarily installed AMD Radeon 7600M driver. now when i start gaming in low graphical settings, though the video and audio distortion occurs and FPS decreases. so as per my perspective, there should be two probabilties: whether AMD Graphics driver isn't supporting to hardware that's why it isn't working. or another one is, there is problem regarding hardware mayy be in graphic card. so pls can you suggest me which AMD Graphic driver will be proper for my HP Pavallion G6 2303tx notebook ?

Intel HD driver for pavilion g6
My video dims when I move the mouse or press a key.
I can't open Power Options in Control Panel.
The video works fine with the Intel HD graphic disabled in Device Manager.
I think the Power Option and video drive problems are connected.
Here is the hardware ID for the video card.

video plays slow
When I play something like youtube or video, it's fine for an hour and then it starts to play really slow.. and it doesn't even restart so I have to turn it off and on again and it'll be back to normal for an hour and goes slow again.
This never happened with my other computer.
Could you please help me how to fix this?

Screen Flickering

I've a problem since my laptop was upgraded to windows 10 Creator's update
my laptop serial numbr is 5CG4384B34
Ever since the update the screen started flickering (specially when using the integrated graphics card)
and the flickering is considerably less when using the NVIDIA card on games
The solution I've reached is to lower the FPS to 40 but still there are some flickering can be seen
Although when watching videos on Youtube or any other site the image is perfect without any problems
Please advice me whether the problem is in the screen itself or the graphics card driver

SHOULD I TRY TO REPAIR A DISPLAY SCREEN
The display screen suddenly stopped working. It wasn't dropped or damaged. Powers up and hard drive spins up. keyboard lights work. No activity on display screen at all.

Which active pen/stylus is compatible ?
I have been having all kinds of trouble trying to find the right pen for my Hp pavilion x2 12-b020nr and i have gone down a rabbit hole.
i first purchased the HP Active Pen (Synaptics) which was the incorrect pen and apon further investigation i realised that was my mistake, but then came to understand that the HP Active Stylus (Wacom) was the correct one, but also apon further investigation i have found that HP has so many different variations of laptops and softwares that not all pens work with all variations of note book and the compatibility chart on hp.com does not alow me to pin point which exact model of x2 i have, even in the HP tech support chat they admitted to me that they had issues differentiating the correct pen for the correct notebooks/tablets, if this is the truth that even HP themselves cant figure it out then that obviously a mess!
i need to know what HP Active Stylus (Wacom) (or what ever) works with my HP pavilion x2 12-b020nr and not waist my money on another pen that does not work, if anyone can hlep please let me know! thank you.

Number of Displays Support by Spectre x360 laptop
I recently ordered, but do not have it yet, a Spectre x360 13" touch 2-in-1 laptop. It has 2 Thunderbolt ports. I plan to get a docking station, probably one of the Plugable models, to create a desktop environment with 1 or 2 larger monitors. I would like to know if this laptop model supports multiple monitors/screens and how many. I also would like to know if the Thunderbolt ports on this model suppport native DisplayPort or USB-C Alt mode or just standard DVI/HDMI signals. The number and type of monitors supported is important in my discission on which docking station to get. Thanks
