I have hp pavilion-bf148tx.Its a 14 inch laptop.
When I connect the HDMI cable to my HDMI port on my laptop. A message appears on screen of my TV not supported.
Please help me resolve this problem.

Envy touch display quit working
I bought an HP Envy a few years ago and it was the best laptop I have ever had. I purchased it at Best Buy and they encourage me to buy the extended warranty and I did. I had a few service issues with it and the Geek squad took care well; so when the time came I extended the warranty through Best Buy.
One day the display screen quit working. The PC was functioning properly as I tested it by connecting a HDMI to external display source. I took the machine to Best Buy and after a week they told me that the touch screen display and a module were bad and that my extended warranty would not cover this type of repair. I was very disappointed and did not want to pay the high price they wanted to charge for the repair.
Do you have a solution to help me restore this very good machine?

Video Playback Issue
First of all, how can I email HP support directly without having to login here?
Second, In the past few weeks I have noticed that every time I play a video from YouTube or a film on windows media player, VLC etc... the video seems like its going to get cut off as if the laptop isn't getting enough power, its like an electrical current/distortion sound. I have already done a full system reset like 10 times this year and, just last weeks windows system update it has reset again. Has this fault got something to do with the graphics/ video card? I have had this laptop ''fixed'' 4 times by HP repair, the screen was replaced twice.

Wacom Bamboo Ink paired but not working with HP 15t Spectre x360 2-in-1
Just bought a Wacom Bamboo Ink smart styuls to replace a Dell stylus that worked fine when the battery wasn't dead. I can connect the Bamboo and the shortcut on the end works fine to open OneNote. But nib doesn't work on the touch screen at all. Is there a fix or do I need to buy a different stylus?

Spectre X360 screen cracked
I closed my computer and next morning when i opened it the left side of screen is cracked. I live by myself so nobody touches or uses my computer. I only use it to check emails and pay some bills. There are hundrds of reviews that have the same problem. I wish i would have had read the reviews before i bought this expensive laptop. I thinks thedefect is these tiny little rubber things on the 4 corners are cracking the screen. I paid over $1300 and they want $800 for the part. What is HP going to do about this. You shoud take care of your customers. I even have an hp printer. Has anyone ever heard back from HP if so did they fix the issue?

Catalyst control center isn't working (hp pavilion dv6)

I dont have catalyst control center option and have jury in few days,

Catalyst control center isn't working (hp pavilion dv6)
i have downloaded Catalyst Control Center several times but it is still not working. I have Paviliion dv6-6120se, AMD radeon hd 6490M and built-in intel GPU hd 3000 both GPUs is working fine but the problem started when i uninstalled the Catalyst Control Center in order to get a new updated one from AMD website. But the AMD site said my version of radeon hd 6490M is not supported anyway i have tried everything i uninstalled the ATI GPU driver and install it again. Somehow I downloaded Catalyst Control Center the and the installation finished and the same problem it is still not working. Please any help would be appreciated. Now i lost the Catalyst Control Center and the switchable graphics config. help please.

Backlight issue
Hi. A few months ago, I dropped my Chromebook and cracked the screen. After a few weeks, the screen started flickering with horizontal white lines. I reseated the video cable a few times and the screen continued to work for a few minutes before it will repeat the issue. After my last attempt, the display backlight turned off. I replaced the video cable with a new one and the issue persits. I have also replaced the display panel with a brand new one. I'm lost on what I should do next.

Notebook freezes randomly
I have had this problem with my notebook ever since I got it. But before last windows update it was't so bad. Now, when I'm doing right click on the desktop computer freezes (half second). In different programs (Illustrator, SketchUp) when I'm using "undo command" it freezes in the same way. It freezes when I run any program . And freezes randomly in browsers.
Master In the servise centre sad that this notebook has problems with two hard drives (ssd and hdd), but in win 10 there is no solution. I haven't found any problem in tests (HP PC Hardware Diagnostics, sfc/scannow and etc.) What should I do?

HDMI showing no signal , dosn't work
HDMI is not connecting to the TV, and i have changed the cable but the same issue is remain as it is.
is there any issues related to HDMI with win 10. as it was working with win 8 and 7 before updateding.

After latest update, screen has gone dim (no backlight).
Hello everybody, I went to open my laptop today, after I set a mandatory install to update last night and the screen is not lit at all and I can't increase the brightness. I know that the same exact thing happened to a friend's Toshiba Sattelite last week. My guess is that it had something to do with this update disrupting the BIOS or the drivers. I have no idea where to start. I can still kind of navigate the monitors on both of these laptops at the right angles so I'm down to try anything to fix the issue. Please help!
Edit: I have attached the laptop to an external monitor and it displays properly on the external screen.
Edit #2: I have since updated both the BIOS and Intel graphics driver and the problem continues to persist.

This is to bring to your information that I had some issue with my laptop display. I went to the service centre for the same. Without checking it they told me that the issue was with the motherboard of the laptop or the RAM. Then I submitted it for the inspection and came after 10 to 12 days.
When I arrived they told me that it would cost around 16000 rupees to replace motherboard and the RAM.
So I took my laptop and went to the local repair shop where they told me that the issue was with the LCD screen and it would cost me around 3500. Since I was already out of warranty I got it repaired in the local repair shop and they fixed it within the budget.
If you are service engineers are not so capable of diagnosing the problem and fixing it then why did you hire such type of Engineers.
Please take some action against such corrupted service centres.

My web camera is not working nor my microphone too
My web camera is not working may be due to uninstalling the hp truevision webcam driver from image device but I have cyberlink webcam driver installed in my Notebook but still is it not working by saying "NO WEBCAM DETECTED. TRY PLUGGING IN A WEB CAMERA IN YOUR COMPUTER NOW ETC ETC . Plesse tell me how I get hp truevision webcam driver or any relevant assisstance for my problem.
Green bars of microphone are white and on talking to or configuration of my computer they remain white nor green and said your microphine button is muted etc. All drivers are updated & working propery as checked through device manger's option however Speakers are working properly.
Any effort is appreciable by your side & if more information is reqiure then I will provide you. Thank you.

Touchscreen stopped working after FHD touchscreen controller firmware update

I was in Pakistan so they could't helped me. So today i was like kinda searching for solution to phantom touching problem and found some solutions where people updated their touchscreen firmwares and i tried one SP74835.exe hardware id LGD04F4 and it failed and cmd file closed and boom after that my touchscreen stopped working not even in bios and system dignostics. It seems like the firmware in hardware chip which controls the touchscreen is corrupted and i want correct firmware to fix my touch so please help me and provide me correct firmware file. I can not even see hid touch screen under human interface devices in device manager there is a I2C HID device with exclaimination mark in place of touch screen. I'm in a huge problem please help.

Screen dims slightly a few moments after I turn brightness to full
Please help!
When I try an watch netflix on my laptop, a few seconds after I become inactive the screen dims slightly. As soon as I touch the mouse or screen it pops back to full brightness. Then dims again. I've checked power settings and adaptive screen brightness is turned off.
Any help would be awesome!

extended display over Citrix connection
I have a 2 year old Spectre x360. I work remotely over Citrix, and until last July used company-supplied equipment (Asus monitor for extended display over VGA connection to Lenovo laptop). Since then a new company doesn't supply equipment so I purchased an HP 22cwa monitor to use with my Spectre x360. It connected immediately with the HDMI cable it came with, and works well from my desktop and apps. However when I try to extend the display from the Citrix desktop it will open Citrix but the apps do not work properly (apps flashing on and off, cursor not tracking properly) which makes it impossible to have a dual monitor setup. The whole thing works just fine if I don't extend the display, but having windows over windows really slows me down. Any help or input is much appreciated!
