I need to know how to set up the notebook to run my monitor through a cable having HDMI plug coonected to the Notebook and a VGA plug to the monitor.
Initially it worked for about 60 second but after that the monitor gets no video signal.
Also it coursed the problem that the HDMI connector sned no signal to my other devices like my TV set.
my laptops touch screen completely stop working and when i check the system information i found that there is no pen or touch available for this display, i use the touch screen almost 6 month and suddenlu one day its stop working why
The site does not offer the latest driver for the video card, the last driver was in 2012. And if you Update the driver from the official Nvidia website, the driver just stops working. Please explain why the Driver from the official Nvidia website not working on laptop hp company

Please help me to get rid of that strange problem.
Let me explain you the situation.
I have HP g6-2025SR (Serial number is: 5CD2175H25).
My hard disk drive died, with the old hard disk I have lost the Recovery partition so I can't return to pre-installed OS, that was my laptop was equipped upon buying.
I have bought the new hard drive and installed the Windows 7 (64 bit, English language) to it without the problem.
On next step I started to download the drivers for my laptop.
This is the official support (driver) page for my laptop.
I have downloaded EVERYTHING from there.
- IDT Audio drivers
- Graphics (This driver also contains the Chipset drivers, USB3 Drivers, HDMI Audio drivers)
- Realtek Card Reader Drivers
- Synaptics Touchpad Drivers.
- Atheros WiFi Drivers
- Realtek LAN Drivers
- HP Hard Disk ProtectSmart
- HP On-Screen Display Utility
- HP CoolSense Technology.
Started to install these drivers. Everything installed perfectly, except the Graphics driver. When I tried to install the Graphics driver, it didn't give any error, finished without the problem. Restarted the machine. Ta-daa, On device manager both video adapters (7520G and 7670M) are with exclamation marks (indicating that drivers are not installed or installed with an error). I have formatted again the computer and installed Graphics driver from AMD's Support page. The file name is amd-catalyst-15.7.1-with-dotnet45-win7-64bit. This attempt too didn't work, I encountered the same problem. Again formatted and tried other (older) versions of the Catalyst. Totally I have tried nearly 20 driver version. Google'd them.
So is there special procedure to install Video drivers for AMD Dual Graphics?
I have backup plan for solution, I have same model at work, I can create the acronis image of that laptop and deploy that image to my home laptop. But I wanna understand what is the problem, why the driver on official HP website doesn't work?
I have contacted the Live Chat support of HP and asked them to help me. They connected to my computer tried the bunch of drivers without the luck, at last Support guy told me that I need to order HP Recovery Media from United Arab Emirates. When I asked why the driver on HP Official Support page doesn't work on my computer, he told like that "Your windows is not genuine" Come-onnn man, what is that common between genuine of my OS and Driver installtion? Microsoft officialy allows 30 days trial period of their system without "braking" the law.
So, I again ask you guys, can you help me to solve this strange problem?

I have problems with my keyboard. While typing a sentence, having not touched the mouse at all, the cursor jumps to the beginning of the sentence, sometimes in the middle of a word that i have typed.
This has been going on almost since we purchased this computer. It doesn't always happen, however, and it mostly happens on email text.
I would appreciate some assistance with this, please.

Hello! There seems to be an issue with my laptops' screen brightness. Everytime i enter full screen on youtube, or visiting a site thats themed with dark colors such as wowhead.com, the brightness lowers on its own. I disabled Adaptive Brightness but it doesnt seem to be the case, because i still have the same problem. Thanks for your time!
I have tried connecting my ENVY Notebook 13-ab0XX to several usb-c multi-port hubs from different manufacturers. The ethernet and USB ports always work but the HDMI and VGA ports never work. The laptop does not even recognize that there is a display attached to the hub.
I have tried with several displays and they work correctly when connected to the internal HDMI port.
HP, youre not getting the issue or evading it intentionally.
His GTX 1070 video card is displaying in device manager like it should.
What isnt showing is the "native" display adpter, itis missing in device manager.

It seems that this is an intentional HP configuration. Why?

What happens if there is an issue with the Nvidia card? No display?
I've had an HP Stream laptop for approximately 4 months now. 5 days ago the screen went black. The light on the side and caps lock light will go on but the screen is black. Forabout two weeks prior to it going black half the screen had a grey screen over it, could still read it but it was half grey but now black. I followed the suggestions in the notes on this page and pushing escape, f11 and ctrl/alt/del does not work. Are there any other suggestions? Is this a manufacture problem since there are other comments on here with the same trouble?
I had recently bought the cheaper $20 bamboo pen for my hp desktop and while it worked with my touch screen I didn't like the stylus aspect of it, so I returned it and bought the more expensive Bamboo Ink pen with the dib-tip.
The bluetooth connected instantly with my computer but the pen doesn't interact with the screen at all when I try to use it. I changed the setting by pressing the two buttons at the same time but that still didn't work. I don't know why this one isn't working at all if the cheaper stylus-pen I had before worked. Help!!!

I recently bought a HP Envy x360 15t-aq200 for my school program. The program is for design, and I draw a lot. I need a stylus for this laptop that isnt cheap and will fall apart within a short period of time.
When I purchased the laptop i was misinformed that the HP active stylus would work, but quickly found out that it doesn't.

the notebook is currently connected to 2 extenal monitors (1 HP w2207h via HDMI cable&port , 1 HP w228h via VGA cable&port).
One or more times a day, randomly the monitor connected to the VGA port goes black, less frequent it happens also on the other monitor connected to the HDMI, in both cases after 2,3 seconds the issue is automatically fixed
then it may happen again in the next 5,10 minutes or works for hours.
Here is a list of steps I already tested out withous solution:
- notebook is fully updated , drivers atc. via installed HP support client
- Windows 10 is updated to latest build (fall creators)
- tried to replace the VGA cable
- tried to replace the HP w228h monitor
- Energy saving is disabled however notebook is always connected to mains.

Hello, I bought a laptop HP Probook 470 g4, everything works smooth and great.
The only thing that lacks behind is the dislpay wich is a HD+ TN screen with poor contrast and very poor color reproduction.
I was wandering if i can replace this screen with a Full HD IPS wich is available on higher specced versions of this notebook.
In fact only thing that matter is if the screen connector is the same (30 pins, dual) .

Screen flickering issue in HP Elite book G3.
We have new P Elite book G3 laptop with win10 image. when we try to bring machine back from sleep mode , screen starts flickering and some time goes blank as well. Same issue was observed on other machines of same model.
Moving the screen of a HP 15 bs017nl notebbok strange distorsione and waves appear on the screen. Is it a defect? What are the reasons?
Moving the screen or by biting the screen slightly strange waves (distorsions) appear on the screen. The computer has few hours and I can give back. I would know if it is a genral defect of this notebool or is a defect of the HP computers. A similar think happen also with another HP that I have.
