Why does this driver update run all the time?

 

Checking Windows Update History shows at least 45 entries:

Hi!

Help me with this issue.

I am having so much trouble as my display hangs repeatedly after 2 to 3 seconds and this happens again and again which is so annoying. 

It also goes black and then a message appears stating "Display Driver has stopped working and has recovered" and the message then disappears without showing anything even if clicked.

Kindly help me with this annoying problem as I cannot watch movies, code any application (as I am a developer) or whatever smooth operation  I want to do.

Insertion cursor always showing especially on chrome and sometimes when you scroll down and try to click something like on reddit the page will scroll back up to where the insertion cursor was instead of clicking on the link. Also, sometimes the whole page gets highlighted.

For a full year I have been using my laptop in conjunction with a Toshiba TDP-P8 projector using the laptop HDMI port, an adaptor to VGA and then VGA into the projector with no problem at all.

 

I now find the there is no signal to the projector.

I have tested all the leads and the adaptor on other equipment and it works fine.

 

The projector works fine with another laptop and with the same leads.

 

I have tested the laptop with a TV monitor via HDMI and that works too.

 

Why will the laptop/projector no longer project when it has done so for over 12 months?

I am having problems with my camera. i've tried restarting my computer. tried updating it. i can't load my camera at all. the drivers are not on here. i have no clue where to look, please help me. it just won't turn on for some reason.

This is a problem I have been having for several months, even though I've only had this computer for a little over a year.

 

The screen will go black, it makes the same noise as when I plug in a USB or HDMI, and then the display comes back. That process happens pretty quick, and sometimes it happens MANY times in a row, which is very annoying, or it'll happen just once or twice. The applications on my screen might move around a bit as they readjust or whatever it is that happens. I have found little rhyme or reason to when this happens. Sometimes it happens when I am doing nothing to the computer, like watching a video, not touching anything, or if the lid is open and the screen is still on, but I have left my computer. But I can pretty dependably get it to happen when I move my laptop (adjust the lid angle, shift it on my desk, etc.), carry it while the lid is open, or put it down.

 

When it was still under warranty, I took it to Microcenter, where it was bought, and they couldn't find much wrong with it. I think they updated some drivers is all.

 

Recently, I noticed that sometimes I am able to put my mouse off screen to the right, as if I have another screen connected. But then it will do the weird display blackening, and then I wouldn't be able to move the mouse off screen. This got me thinking that there is an issue with the screen resolution and that it frequently thinks I am connecting a screen. I even have some videos I took to support this; I can't figure out how to attach a video, so I will attach some screenshots from the video to show what I mean. My laptop definitely is going between thinking there is a single display to more than 1.

 

Any thoughts on how to fix this? Or who to contact about it? It is awfully annoying.

Display to External monitor is blank although in properties of Nvidia control panel it detects my samsung tv and shows all properties. This is happened after i have installed the latest bios upate 01.17 Rev.A.  Any help in this regard is hightly appreciated.

does anyone know how to get effective support I recently bought a new hp spectre with the USBc hub, it stopped working aboyt 2 weeks ago, Ive tried to contact the help desk , i got through 4 times they took no contact details and hung up each time , the last time I rang someone shouted at me that they said they would ring back and put down the phone again.

Im worried that I wont be able to get a refund the thing was very expensive and broke within 2 weeks I cannot get support for it and I now want my money back., Im very worried about what HP consider acceptable support as well. this seems to be the only place where any kind of support can be obtained.

My Keyboard and touchpad don't work on windows 10. Tried with Linux it works fine , even in Bios it works fine. but when windows 10 start keyboard and touchpad stop working.

Pls help, i have a problem with Hp Omen... Every time i switch screen or have loading screen in game my screen starts to dance left to right very fast. I noticed that if i pull the power cable off that it stops.. What does that mean. Is it something with the graphic or i need to change some power mode (i tried everything)... Pls help!
