So left bottom corner is brighter than residue
It looks like light from diode
Is that ok, or something is wrong??
Of course it's from beginning (for 3-4 months)

So im trying to use my touch screen on my computer but it says that it isnt available. I dont know how that happened since ive always had touch on it. i think it was after the Windows 10 update. I keep having problems here and there after i updated it. Ive tried contacting windows support and they couldnt figure it out. And right now i dont have money to contact HP Support since my warranty is expired. Any help would be appreciated.
Ive also tried the Device Manager option to enable touch but it doesnt even have that option.

I bought a HP Notebook 8GB memory and Intel Pentium on 6/10/2017 only a week ago from my local Argos store but have only powered it up twice.
Since setting it all up I have been getting frozen screens, pages not responding and tonight I have spent 4hrs trying to create a profile for HP Support Assistance and its still going @01.15 I started this process @21.15.
Also I wanted to return it to the store for a replacemet so I wanted to take it back to factory settings to start afresh and when I try and start the recovery program nothing happens.
I am using my old laptop which is half the specs of the new one ) and it is a lot faster ( old laptop 4GB memory celeron N2840) .
Because of the problems I am experiencing I took notebook back to Argos as I believe the machine is faulty and as they could not see the problems they told me to get in touch with HP Tech Help
Any advice as to how to remedy these problems before I contact tech help on Monday

For about a year now, my PC has been acting strange. I see the colors change weirdly (photos attached). They are not inverted and it seems like not all colors go wrong. I noticed this happened mostly after using HDMI cable. After finishing watching a movie and removing the HDMI cable, the colors would go wrong like in the picture but after a reboot/recover from sleep or hibernate the display would go back to normal. Today it hasn't and that is why I am writing here.
I would say this is from the PC display because an external monitor (TV) never has this problem when using HDMI.
I have to mention that this PC is used for watching movies and internet browsing most of the time so it has a pretty boring life. Nothing has happened to it (physically or otherwise).

Recently my spectre x360 touchscreen started having some issues. It sometimes has ghost touchches.
Also when I touch the screen it registeres the touch in the wrong place.

I have a HP Notebook Intel Pentium, serial num: CND54864D0 Product num: N7J43EA#ABU Model num: 15-ac108na, and the left mouse button is just about broken, i ts sunken into the laptop and kinda wobbles about. Ive had the laptop a few years now, it was bought for me and i never used it for the first year or so, now ive started to use it the button had broken within a short space of time. Can i buy a replacement button for this model.
I tripped over the power cord to my 6 month old laptop and it fell to a carpeted floor. Now when you turn it on the internal screen looks shattered. The outside glass screen is not touched. Any suggestions?

I've noticed that the left hinge on my spectre x360 is little misplaced.
When I open the lid, I can sometimes hear a little creaking sound.
I have also had some problems with the touchscreen like ghost touches.
Could the hinge cause touchscreen issues?

Until recently I have never had a problem with this PC until now. It hasn't been used super frequently so I doubt it's an issue with hardware.
So when the computer starts up the touchscreen works just fine. However if I rotate it back to tablet mode it will work up until the last 35 - 40 degrees of the rotation and when you rotate it back it will work intermitently. I.e. you can rotate it back the first time and it might work but rotating back and forth to tablet mode twice will ensure that the touchscreen stops working.
I have tried HP Support assistant
I have tried a soft and hard reset
I have tried uninstalling/ReinStalling the Driver.
At this state I am really unsure what else I can do but i'd rather try everything before sending off for a new touchscreen. Thanks in advance.

Hi just bought a hp pavilion 14" bf125tx a week back in india. Its has a full hd 1080p display. Observing backlight bleeds at the edges at high brightness in dark backgrounds. Is this bad? should i get a replacement? Find picture that depicts the problem.
I recently purchased an HP Pen to go with my Envy x360 laptop. Upon reading the directions, it says that after putting the battery into the pen, all you have to do is tap the screen to get the pen to work. This did not work for me at all.
I have a brand new Envy notebook. I bought and extra power cord from Elecpower which is an HP recomended retailer. When I plug in my laptop my screen brightens and dims. It is a regular pattern. I called Elecpower and they sent me a second cord which does the same thing. This does not happen with the cord provided by HP. The part number is 2012EPHP45W4530.
Will this harm my computer? Is there a setting that will fix this?

Unfortunately I have the same problem. I've bought the HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-w0XX in NY (Best Buy ) on Christmas 2016, expecting to buy later a good stylus to do my notes in tablet mode. (I'm a doctor)
Since then I've spent much money buying differents stylus (first a Dell and now a Microsoft surfer -its button launches the notes app but the stylus doesnt work with the screen). I need a solution from HP because when I bought the HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-w0XX I was told because of the price , that would work with the appropiate active pen.
I expect a quick response with the solution from HP to my personal email thanks (in response, I will send also the serial number of my computer)
I cannot expect less from HP.

Trying to determine if a) anyone else is having issues of the vertical bands/streaks on screen display for the HP Spectre x 360 running Windows 10?
b) If so , is there anything that can be done to fix it other than throwing this laptop in the trash and abandoning HP FOREVER?
So very tired of these manufacturers that sell a product and just over two years later it has fatal issues.
Just wondering if HP has released a fix for this issue yet. There is a fix for the 15in model, so a similar fix should be possible for the 13in. HP should really give its "premium" line of computers the support they deserve to make them actually worth the extra.
I have a HP OMEN Notebook - 15-5210nr that has the most recent bios update, clean fans and while is approaching max tempature of 88 degrees as measured by ALCPU Core Temp 1.10.2, should not be thermal throttling.
While under intense gaming loads I have extremely unstable CPU and GPU preformance as indicated by FPS and Windows resource manager. My maximum frequency is being throttled HEAVILY and Irratically causing the preformance drops. I have only noticed this under heavy gaming and benchmarking.
I have updated to the most recent BIOS update, have all of the current chipset and GPU drivers per another forum post. My SSD is under 65% full.
The Blue line below is my cpu being throttled during gameplay, I have the system set to High Performance mode.
Any advice on my next step?
hey my stream crashed and now its just sitting there on a black screen
my HP Spectre keyboard light button is always lit up and typically when I would press it the specific button would turn off then the keyboard light would turn on,
but, now whenever i press it, my computer shuts down and the screen goes black and the only way I can turn it back on is if i hold the power button for 10 seconds and restart the computer. The keyboard light is unable to turn on but it used to work.
