I apparantly have 2 webcam software programs, one is Cyberlink YouCam 6, and the other probably came with the computer. In the viewer it is zoomed in so all I see is a HUGE mouth when taking a selfie. The actural picture comes out, but I cannot preview, so I can't take good pictures. Please! how can I get this un-zoomed????

Spectre x360 External Monitor over USB-C
I recently purchased a Spectre x360 laptop and an LG 43ud79 monitor. I'm trying to connect the Spectre x360 directly to the LG monitor via the USB-C port without using an HDMI converter. Problematically, however, no matter which of the two USB-C ports I connect the monitor to, the x360 does not detect the external monitor. I've installed all of the drivers provided by LG, but it still isn't detecting the monitor. Has anyone else struggled with this issue?

hi my screen flickers everytime my laptop moves especially if the lid is moved up or down. i get multicolored lines on the screen and sometimes when i turn it on i just get a black screen.

Brighness isuue
my F2 and F3 buttons are not working since i updated my OS to windows 8.1(64 bit). I have only microsoft basic display adapter installed in the display adapter drivers. I downloaded intel graphics driver recommended for my model and OS from HP's own server .. it downloaded okay and i installed it but it doesn't show it on my device manager under display adapters... all the other functions are working except brightness.. Can u help me o this??? I also tried installing Nvidia graphics driver recommended for my model and OS.. but it didnt installed correctly... so please help me out to fix the problem.

HP Notebook 15-ay106na Issues
My laptop is a HP Notebook 15-ay106na, and I have told them twice now but still it doesn't show up... Bought from local Argos, bricks and motor store, not sure what the issue is here?
My touchpad seems to have a mind of its own. At times it likes to jump across the screen for no apparent reason which can cause me to click on things I don't want to click on. Very annoying when it happens. It has happened less since the most recent Synaptics driver update but have only been using the laptop for a couple of days. I haven't even been able to work out when or why it happens either, just seems random.

Synaptics Pointing Device driver - had to 'rollback' in order to get full options
All of a sudden today, my laptop had reverted back to the factory setting where the touchpad utilised the 'tap to click' functionality.
I went to change settings, as I had done before, to turn off the feature - however, now on the touchpad options, the full array of preferences I was able to change in the past were no longer visible.
Luckily, when I did rollback driver, back to v19.3.11.45, the options I remembered from before were back, and I was able to turn off tap to click.
It needs to made aware that the newer Synaptics Pointing Device driver, v19.3.31.31, does not give any option to alter options, so tap to click is stuck as 'on', and an incredibly frustrating experience will be had.
I don't want my driver to automatically update again, as this was really annoying.
I am wondering if others have had the same experience with this driver update? Hopefully HP / Synaptics can amend the v19.3.31.31 driver so that all options are intact.

Broken Hinges on Envy touchsmart m7-j020dx
I purchased the laptop a couple years ago and literally just days after 1 year after purchase the right hinge popped and the laptop started seperating. I purchased this at Bestbuy and returned there to see about a repair. Well the so called Geek squad who I am sure must of known about the ongoing problem never mentioned it and just said they would have to send out and would cost several hundred dollars mininum. Just this past week it really seperated and the left side popped too. Took it back and they just tried to sell me a new laptop and really didn't want to talk about the hinges. So I decided to see if anyone else had a similar problem and if there were details on fixing. I found this forum amongst many many others. Is there any way to get this fixed by HP. There have been mentions of a short lived recall which I missed. Please help. I can't afford a new pc yet, and when I do really would like to continue with all I ever had are HPs.

Running HP Omen Accelerator on internal laptop screen
Hello,
I have the HP Omen Accelerator hooked up via TB3 to my zBook 15 G4.
When I connect an external monitor to the Accelerator everything works fine.
What I would like to know though is how do I get the output back to my internal laptop screen without using an external monitor?

HP 250 G6 camera software missing from downloads page
So, recently I took ownership of an HP 250 G6. I powered it up only once to make sure it was all working, and then proceeded to rip out the HDD and replace it with an SSD (Samsung 750 Evo). I did a clean install as well to get rid of any bloatware.
The drivers are all installed, all system functions work, and I've installed some of the more useful HP software available from the downloads page. However, there is no software to tweak the camera settings or functions, and all I'm left with is a grainy 640x360p image with no options for adjustment.
I could probably try to muck around and get the old system image back on here, but that requires opening up the notebook, and this thing is really difficult to crack open.
If anyone has links to the proper software, please provide them. My last resort would be contacting HP Inc. South Africa, and that's going to take up a lot of time.

Bad screen-definition in notebook etc.
Hallo,
since year 2011 I have HP notebook HP G62-b70SC, last 1,5 year it works with OS Windows 10 64 bit, screen-definition of monitor is 1365 x 768.
Some months ago I attempted unsuccsessfully to install the game “Sims4”, for which, of course, this notebook wasn´t too suitable(grafic, processor…). The result of my installation was a very “hard” error and the situation was necessary to solve only by new reinstaslation of Windows 10-probably with any W10 update(s), that until then weren´t in computer present.
After this reinstalation notebook works good, but with 3 exceptions :
- Display of all (pictures, documents, etc.) on monitor is too wide and in control panels W10 offers only screen-definition 1024 x768 or 800 x600, which means the worse possibilities. A friend of mine (he is very good in “computers”) tried finding of a suitable driver for 1365 x 768 in internet, but unsucessfully.
- A connection of a external monitor of my computer with is impossible, too.
- Since reinstallation W10 also the „regime of sleeping of computer“ by breaking-off is not funktional.
I very hope for a help with solving.

Matte screen protector w/ Stylus
Can ayone recommend a matte screen protector for the 12" Spectre?
I want to use the stylus more creatively.
Drawing on glass with the stylus is different feedback than paper.
Maybe a different nib?
Any experience?

HP Notebook - 15-bw053od Display Problem Following Technical Support Remote Login
I have a new HP Notebook (15-bw053od) that I just purchased which was working fine until McAfee technical support remotely logged into the laptop to update my LiveSafe software. Their updating process seemed to have a problem and they rebooted the laptop and the laptop has been having a display issue since then. The laptop seems slower on start up and the screen goes blank once I input my password. Initially the display is totally blank but then a couple of icons are displayed in the main part of the screen on the left hand side and the Windows Menu button and a number of icons are displayed along the bottom of the display where the task bar should be but the central area of the display is blank as is the task bar itself. The Menu button is active and the other features/application seem to function normally. Have tried rebooting the system and the HP tech support folks did something with respect to the BIOS but the display is not displaying all the graphics it should be. Is there some system settings that the McAfee tech support remote login software might have changed in logging into my laptop that were not properly reset and that I could have the system reset to their original parameters?

Hp touchsmart 15 r015dx (ENERGY STAR) TOUCH DOES NOT WORK
Hello, the touchscreen stopped workinmg since i have updated to windows 10, i have reinstalled downgraded to win7 /8 but the computer keep saying no touch or pen input for this display
i checked on uefi bios test (where you can test disk memory processor wifi card etc) and touchscreen does not appear listed, on windows the touchscreen does not show on HID devices
the screen looks and works perfectly and the laptop does not have another issue, the screen is not broken...
the rare thing is that the bios is not detecting the touchscreen, but it detects the screen perfectly and both are connected, the webcam also works without problems and it uses the same bus connection with the screen/touchscreen combination
it looks like the bios is not discovering the touchscreen when the computer turns on, some kind of resource not avaliable.
Can you help me to recover back the touch function on my beloved laptop?
