I have had some trouble with my laprop recently and having thought the screen was completely black when I turned it on I plugged it in to my TV via HDMI and all works fine on the TV.
Later I discovered there is a display on my laptop screen however it is very dim, if i hold a light up to the screen I can see what is going on.
Any quick fixes as I urgently need to get back onto the laptop.

The laptop in object has the following trouble:
The screen is green and noisy and colors are wrong, while, with an external monitor, all it' s right.
Having an identical panel, I' replaced the
Screen, but with te same results.
I' ve verified the flat cable, and it's ok.
Exceeding in... prudence, I've tested the inverter too, and it seems working well
How can I do? May be useful a reflow, or reballing?

I just got this two and one and it was working perfectly out of no where the number keys stopped working. i have no idea how to fix it. its a brand new notebook and hasnt had anything spilled on it

My computer has had this issue the whole time I've owned it. I have contact HP for help and no one seems to be able to fix my problem. I need this fixed before my warrenty runs out. I just spent an hour holding to speak to someone and once I told Ben my problem he said we will see about getting that fixed I am going to transfer you and I went back into another 50 minute wait time to speek with someone else - Ridiculous! My screen locks up and white bubbles are all over the screen - the mouse goes crazy and I have to do a hard shut off to regain control of my computer thats not even a year old. Can someone please help!!!

Just bought a new HP Notebook 15-ay191nia and realized I can't find any drivers for its display, hdmi and other devices. It's a 32 bit machine, but HP website seems to only include 64 bit drivers for this model. However, even when I select 64 bit there's still no drivers available. I checked the product warranty and I see that it still has about 6 months left. Does anyone have an idea how to get drivers for this model? Otherwise right now I can't do presentations with it, and I can't reduce its blinding brightness!!
Hi, I have an hp aw010nw laptop and drivers from the site, and gta v detects me that
I have only 512 mb of memory on the card and I have 4gb.
Other games work like it should be something wrong with gta

After having no charger for a long time I finally was able to turn on my computer again. Except now my touchscreen no longer works. I have no driver in my pc devices and I have gone through ABSOLUTELY ALL the troubleshooting steps online and through the HP support assistance. Nothing is working and none of the steps are specific enough for me to use. I do not need another link, I need suggestions. Have been working at this for 4 hours now.

Good Morning, I am trying to run two displays with my note book lid closed. I have it set to display one external and shut down the notebook display when the lid is closed but I want two external displays running.

Any chance this is temp related? I have it on a laptop cooler but using Core Temp I noticed the CPU temp is often quite high.

I recently bought a HP Envy Notebook13-ab0XX and occasionally the screen will flicker to black. The black screen lasts less than a second. Within the past week, it has been occurring more frequently. Is there a driver I can download to fix this? There has been no recent software or driver changes. Thank you.
My internal webcam is not working. I can not enable it as there is no option known as "Imaging devices" in the Device Manager whatsoever. It simply does not exist. i have attempted to download CyberLink YouCam however no video context is being shown as i am unable to turn the webcam on my laptop device. Please help ASAP. Is there a number I could call as I think it may be a hardware issue? Thanks.
My partner and I both purchased the HP Notebook - 15-bw054sa a couple of days ago. We loaded it up as instructed, let it do all its various updating etc. We are now both getting the same problem that when you start the laptop, it gets the hp logo on the screen and goes to the home page where I am able to log in, once logged in the screen remains black with the white cursor in the middle of the screen and nothing happens.
occasionally, after ten or so minutes the picture returns. no amount of restarting is sorting the issue and there isnt any thing on the computer to interfere with it as they are brand new.
This should not be heppening with a brand new laptop? I have seen other forums relating to this issue. What is going on HP? WE have each spent over £300 on laptops that are already causing an issue after a few days of owning them.
