Stylus not working
I have a pavilion x360 14-ba055sa laptop with touch screen and have bought a HP Pro Tablet Active Pen (K8P73AA) to use with it. Only problem is that it won't write on the screen. I have tried a firmware update mentioned on another thread but it has made no difference

4k External Video Output from Envy 17t, via HP docking station
Hi everyone, I have seen it discussed that the HDMI output on these laptops does not support 4k video resolution, but can an HP USB-C docking station be used in junction with the USB-C port on the laptop to allow display port output from the docking station to an external 4k monitor, retaining 4k video resolution? Or is there simply no means whatsoever (including any sort of work-arounds) of getting 4k video resolution to an external display from this laptop??? Thanks!!

Lines all over my screen
Hi my pavilion has lines horizontally and vertically, sometimes the screen flickers on for a brief second and thats it, i don't know hot to fix this and was wondering if someone could help

When I log onto my laptop. it goes to a black screen once logged in.
For the past 3 or 4 days, whenever I log into my laptop it goes straight to a black screen after I enter my password. And last night I was watching a movie on Netflix, and I had my headphones in and it shut off and made this weird buzzing sound.

Website display problems

I am having problems with certain websites - they are not loading properly, no images and the text is not lined up. I have flash player installed but the problem is the same on Chrome and Edge. Fps drops with new laptop.

I just got my new laptop and i installed a few games on it, the first 5 minutes it works perfect but after that the FPS drops to 10-20 for 10 seconds and then jumps back to 140-150. And this happens every 5 minutes or so and its very annoying. This laptop is just a month old and i dont know whats wrong. My specs:
i7-7500 CPU
8GB Ram
NVIDIA Geforce940 MX

THE DISPLAY GOES BLACK AT CERTAIN ANGLES WHEN THE DISPLAY IS OPENED OR CLOSED, AS IF THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE KEYBOARD AND DISPLAY WAS NTERMITTENT OR DAMAGED.
MY FAMILY GAVE THIS LAPTOP TO ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY. I AM DISABLED WITH PARKINSON'S DISEASE AND SPEECH PROBLEMS, SO THIS LAPTOP IS MY PRIMARY MEANS OF COMMUNICATION WITH THE OUTSIDE WORLD. BECAUSE OF MY DISABILITY I CANNOT WORK, SO I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY FOR REPAIRS.
SINCE I RECEIVED THIS LAPTOP AS A GIFT, I DID NOT KNOW WHEN THE WARRANTY PERIOD BEGAN AND ENDED. IT SEEMS THE WRRANTY EXPIRED TWO WEEKS AGO.
I REALLY LIKE THIS LAPTOP, IT HAS MADE MY LIFE SO MUCH EASIER.
IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN GET THIS PROBLEM RESOLVED AT LITTLE OR NO COST TO ME?

HP Envy X360 Black Screen With Mouse
So my HP Envy X360 Laptop Will start up Normally but when I l type in my password it will go to a black screen only displaying my mouse. Any tips on how to fix this.

Monitor issues
My monitor screen would turn all black. A system restore fixed it many times. It all started about the time the notifications to renew my McAfee subscription started popping up. As the frequency of the notifications increased so did the frequency of the monitor problem. Then somehow a corruption deleted all the restore points and the latest one would not repair the monitor. I get a notification to upsdate drivers for AMD and when I do that the monitor comes on with a startup and the graphics are perfect but after about ten minutes the graphics go to what seems like a lower setting and then after the first time the monitor goes to sleep it never comes back on. I use an external monitor to use the computer with a video cable. I'm wondering if there is a patch for the monitor software because I think that is what is actually the problem. The monitor woprks when the computer tells it to.

HP F162-DX Touch Screen stopped working
Hi,
I've read or seen all the post and videos about how to fix this issue and this coming out and asking is my final resource before giving up on my laptop.
It was working find until, out of the sudden the touch screen and keyboard stopped working. I managed the get the keyboard back, but haven't been able to bring the touch screen back.
I know it is not a hardware issue because I ran a test with a different OS (Ubuntu) and everything works there
This is what I've tried already:
1. Troubleshooting
2. Went to device manager and disable and enable HID for touch screen
3. Hard Reset my computer
4. Factory Reset the computer
5. Re-install all drivers

7. Check the power settings
8. Tried from the recovery manager

After one of the tests, the HID for touch just dissapeared and even though I've downloaded all the drivers, I can't get the touch screen HID again
I'm going crazy, feel like Dr. House on this one, so I would appreciate your help.

I'm pretty much on the verge of returning this product and never using HP again. I've sat on the phone for about an hour, and tried to chat once again for OVER AN HOUR and got nothing.
To the problem: All of my applications/programs are small and unusable. I've searched high and low and I've gotten no positive results. I've changed the resolution, changed font size, updated the drivers, and I've also went into the properties of the app and disabled display scaling. Nothing works.
I'm very frustrated at this point and upset with myself because I've avoided HP for years because I've received nothing but a headache with my last laptop, and 3 days later with my new laptop I already want to throw this out of the window.
