I bought the wrong adapter for my Hp Envy. I've bought a AC Adapter 90w but it's not compatible with mine PC. What can I do? Can I send it back and ask to change the product with another one?

I have one HP Notebook 17-x101na windows 10 64bit.
everytime i press a botton on my keyboard and in the same time i used also the touchpad the pointer stop to move for 2 second is really annoying this function how can disable it ???? On the bios i already disabled the FN mode.

keyboard and mouse donot work at same time while gaming.
I have used my device not for a long time initially it had some problems but they were solved with ease. this is a problem i am utterly struggling with, i am trying to play CS 1.6 but i cannot use the mouse pad when any of the alphabetical key is pressed. i will be delighted to hear of a proper solution.

HP 840 G3 cannot connect to Samsung TV
I have an HP 840 G3 laptop that will not display any output to a Samsung TV.
The HP laptop supports Displayport and is conected via Displayport-HDMI cable.
In settings, the TV is CONNECTED and is getting signal.
However, it will not display anything onto the TV.
Below is a lost of troubleshooting I have gone through.
Connected PC to TV does not display on TV
In Display settings, the TV is shown as being connected.
Detect/Identify shows both are recognized.
Tried Extend Displays, Duplicate Displays etc.
Tried "Connect to a projector" option, still no display
When I am connected remotely I am able to navigate both screens.
Drivers for "Intel(R) HD Graphics 520" are all up to date.
Connects and outputs diplay to MONITORS via same cable
Attempted to roll back drivers, still no display on TV
Uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, still no display on TV
This is the same Displayport/HDMI cable used by whole office
Tried different inputs on TV, still no display
Tried a different 840 laptop on TV, does not work on that laptop either
TV DOES display output from 640 model laptops.
Any thoughts?? Beating my head against the wall.

Have 2 Graphics cards, integrated and dedicated, can I disable the integrated?
When I purchased my machine I selected the Nvidia GT740M dedicated graphics card. But I also selected the Intel Corei7-4700MQ which has Intel Integrated HD graphics. It always bothered me that there were two graphics cards and I tried, in vain, to set the Nvidia card as the "default" one. I guess I'm just not sure if my dedicated graphics card is doing anything or not.
Can I disable the integraded graphics in the device manager without any negative ramifications? And will that then ensure that the dedicated card is the only one working?

Black screen with cursor
We literally JUST bought this computer like 2 weeks ago and it has less than 5 hours of combined operating time on it. I have visted a total of 4 websites on it and added a chrome extension to print coupons. I got the first updates needed message and that the computer needed to be restarted. So I did that. Now it's just a black screen with cursor after entering the password from the lock screen. I am so not even interested in doing some insane trouble shooting BS for a computer that was literally purchased within 30 days. It's ridiculous that I'm even having an issue. I was only able to open a browser by going through the Task Manager and selecting the system to open Chrome for me. If there is a quick fix (not the hard reset, tried that already to no avail) then fine. I'm not hooking anything up to it or installing any stupid program. If it can't be done within a few minutes, then I need to just know how to exchange this garbage at which point I'll also cancel my Instant Ink subscription and anything else related to it. Frustrated and incredulous does not even begin to cover it.

NOT SURE WHICH BOARD TO CHOOSE!
I have had continued issues with the touchpad, other issues, as well, since right after receiving my laptop - Jan 2017. I tried Smart Friend, I will never recommend SF to anyone, ever.
SF and just Support Chat or phone calls have only performed taking over my computer, told me to update program, (which I did and do) and doing 'factory resets' three times, at least, numerously uninstalled, reinstalled the program, (the last time with a chat rep, he uninstalled Synaptics but did not reinstall then told me to trade it in!
I was just chatting and restarted, per instructions, hit the F2 key repeatedly - only turned down the brightness - to get to the test page for the touchpad. Well, I already know it doesn't work correctly!! Do this first before sending in for repair.
The rep was to call me, if it didn't reload chat and get me to test page, still waiting 45 minutes later.
Sorry to go on and on. But honestly, I believe HP has a 'Lemon Policy' which should apply. And/or my warranty til Jan 2018! Can I replace it?
I have had very bad luck, most of the time, with the tech and support reps, been laughed at, yelled at, and I am sorry to say, not understood or can understand, sometimes, with the language barrier.

Spectre X2 - screen blank upon login
When using as a tablet, it boots up normally to the login screen - but once it recognizes me and logs in, the screen goes black. The cursor is visible, but it is otherwise blank and unresponsive. If I start it with my external keyboard plugged in, it functions as normal. This just started a few days ago right after a Windows update.
As a sidenote, this is the second time I've had to contact tech support in the three months since I spent a fortune on this machine. And I just spent an hour on hold trying to talk to a technician on chat or on the phone. This is pissing me off enormously.

Screen blank/flickers
The laptop screen will go blank or flicker if the screen is moved relative to the chassis. Appears to be a connection problem in the hinges. A slight movement of the laptop will cause this.

Pavilion x360 bug in tablet mode...
Looks like i am missing something..... ?
Running Windows10
If i activate the tablet mode by flipping the screen everything work fine as designed and configured. I can flip it back to pc mode without any issues BUT...
If i shut down or reboot while the operating system is in tablet mode, When booting, Windows startup screen will show as usual, then i will get a black screen. No desktop. Just the mouse cursor will show over a black desktop.
Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del will show task manager window over a black screen. From there i can start applications and they will all show over a black desktop. No start menu, nothing at all. Obvious that OS just works fine but NO DISPLAY.
Now it's kind of stuck in this mode........
Each and every "tablet" setting in Windows has been tried and tested.
Tried the "Hard Reset" by pressing the button +15 sec.
Running out of options for such a "simple" problem.

Monitor goes black after I logged into desktop
I've only had this brand new HP Pavillion notebook and it's been working great up until yesterday. I boot up and the desktop come up. I have to give it my pin number to login to the desktop but then the monitor goes black. Nothing. If I do a control alt + delete I'm able to get to taks manager or lock the screen or cancel. I rebooted three times and it did not resolved the issue. Today I boot up, same thing. At this time I got my other computer and was getting ready to go online and see what I could do to resolve this. First I wanted to contact HP since I purchased an extended warranty and all but then suddently I noticed the desktop came up. I have not idea what caused this issue but I've been at it for two nights.
Has anyone out there ever experienced something like this or have any clue as to what might have happened. I am very careful about the sites I access on this new notebook. I have Norton antivirus. If anyone can help or have any advise I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Store and applications won't open
When I logged onto my laptop and tried to open my photoshop application, which I installed through Windows Store, a Grey bar flashed along the top of the screen and then disappeared. When I tried to open the store the same thing happened. The start button has also stopped working. I really need this application to work and fast! Has anyone got any suggestions, all appreciated greatly. Thanks

HP Pavilion 11 x360 external touchscreen

just been wondering if there is a way that i can connect an external touch screen monitor to my exsiting HP Pavilion 11 X360 laptop.
The screen is very small and ideally i want to be able to connect it to a monitor and still being able to use the touch screen option on that external monitor.

LCD fault - envy 13"
Hi,
I have two of these laptops. They are both showing the same problem: areas of the screen started showing a fault where the backlight bleeds through "in blotches". Please see the photo attached.
The screen is otherwise unscratched, unmarked or damaged: we take extreme care with our stuff!
Please advise how I go about getting the screens replaced. Both are still under warranty.
I have filled in all the product details only to be told that I need to phone during office hours or post on this forum - surely there is a better way to raise a warranty request?

Hi, I cannot use my R7 graphic card for some reason, I cannot switch to it even though I have it my laptop only uses R5. Also after updating the driver, it says no AMD Graphic Driver is installed or its not working properly. Please help.

won't go to sleep after hp teck remotly worked on my laptop
The Hp tech remotely entered my laptop to fix an issue with a new hp 4650 printer (which he did) but after he was done my hp pavilion dv6 wont go to sleep (my sleep settings are correct) He probably changed some setting so that my computer wouldn't sleep while he was remotely connected. I waited for hp customer service about this for over an hour. I finnaly had to hang up
