After windows 10 Creator upgrade I can't adjust the screen brightness
Have been all the way through the HP support assistant. Checked for driver updates. Apparently up to date. Problem started immediately after installing the Window 10 Creator update. Can't find any way to get the display bridghtness set. It is now set at maximum brightness. Previously the two keys on the top row of the keyboard for brightness adjustment worked perfectly OK. Brightness can't be set in Windows 10 either. The three keys for volume control work normally.
Does anyone have a solution?

Elitebook 840 G4, Blurry image when connected to external monitor
Hello,
I've a laptop Elitebook 840 G4 with Win10 64 bit (Creator edition) and I need to use an external monitor to expand the internal one, when I connect the laptop with an external monitor (via VGA or Display port) the image from the internal monitor became blurred , the image in the external monitor it's ok.
Even after disconnect the VGA cable the image from the internal monitor don't return to the normal and clear image, stays blurred until the user logoff the windows session.
Screen configuration:
- Internal video board: Intel(R) HD Graphics 620, Version 21.20.16.4541 (20-10-2016)
- Integrated screen: Resolution 1920 x 1080, with 150% zoom
- External screen: Model BenQ GL2250H, resolution 1920 x 1080 (without zoom)
All the drivers/bios are updated (with HP support assistant).
This is very annoying, I've 3 HP laptops with the same issue. I also have other HP and Toshiba Laptops (with Win 7) and the users use external monitors without any kind of problems.

Monitor Connecting help on HP Pavilion DV5
Hello,
Recently I got back out my HP Pavilion DV5 that has a damaged screen in it, and I tried to hook it up to a monitor. But the computer still wouldn't see my monitor and booted in Windows.
I'd like to know how I'm supposed to see the computer's screen at the BIOS stage, not in Windows

No mouse pointer on startup
I have no mouse pointer on startup. only way to get it to work is to fold into tablet mode then mouse pointer works or go and disable mouse then renable again. all drivers are up to date according to the system.

My laptop is a HP Pavillion 14-v066br - PN J2M43LA # AC4 running on Windows 10
and the video board is managed by NVIDIA systems.
I am currently using version 8.1.970.0.
Since I installed this latest version, when the computer goes into SLEEP state,
the system does not return to normal mode anymore,
it is necessary to restart the computer on the Power button.
How can I fix it?

My camera on my chromebook randomly turned on now my chromebook is having glitches and bugs.
My camera randomly turned on when I didn't do anything to it, and its never done this before. I made sure there is only one website that can use my camera and I'm not using it right now, and the camera on my chromebook isn't being used. The camera light turned on and I covered it with a piece of paper, but now my chromebook is having lots of glitches and stuff like that. I was wondering if I could get any help with this?

m6-1035dx Laptop's Touchpad and Usb Ports Not Working from failed Update
Hello!
I am having a major problem here. I was having serious issues with my laptop, so I used an OEM Windows 7 disk to reinstall the OS. As I was updating the laptop with Windows Update, a few updates had failed when restarting computer. As computer finished restarting, I noticed the touch pad, and usb ports/receivers no longer work. The button on the touch pad that can enable/disable touchpad also does not work. Plugging in a mouse (wired and wireless) to many of the usb ports also do not work. If I leave computer on awhile, it will say shut down to install updates, so when I click to shut it down, it trys to install 1 of 1 updates, but will always fail. I have scoured the internet in looking for an answer to this and have not found one. If I can get support on this issue in a timely manner that would be amazing, thank you!

the screen becomes dull randomly
I bought HP Pavilion x360 about a month ago from best buy and notice that the screen becomes dull randomly, it leaves color for few seconds, display becomes grainy and then get back to normal by itself after few seconds.
I tried to reach out to best buy guys they said talk to hp as your 2 week return policy perid has expired. I tried to reach out to HP support they say they can't replace the laptop because I didn't buy the product directly from them.
No I am stuck with this defective piece, with annoying screen behaviour.
Its surprising that such a big company like HP is just not honoring its product warranty!
Please suggest wher do can i find some help?

Am using Compaq CQ 42 recently my mother board got crashed so I replaced the motherboard and processor of i3.which was previously Pentium.now I get ME fw updte failed at the very beginning and my screen display is also not visible full as the task bar is hidden and there is dark bar at the right side of the screen.i updated my BIOS and try to install management driver but I get a error message the my system does not meet minimum requirements.can any1 please help

I got HP 15AY504TX model laptop, which has 1 HDMI and 1 USB 3.0, I would like to know how I extend two monitors (not mirror).

HP Pavillion Laptop. My screen flickers in a straight line down the middle of the screen.
I have a HP Pavillion x360 laptop. The screen flickers in a straight line down the centre of the screen. I attach it an Acer monitor for a larger screen and there is no flickering so clearly something wrong with my laptop screen.
I am under warranty for the next 7 days so need urgent assistance and advice if I need to send it away for repair.

Help!
I have no HDMI port on my new laptop.

Stuck in Tablet Mode
Somehow my laptop went into Tablet mode and I can't get it back out. Not sure how this happened as I never use tablet mode.
Now all controls are on the right side of screen instead of down below.
