I am looking for a replacement for my HP TPN-C125 laptop. It has a 40 pin connector. I've looked on Google, Amazon, Ebay etc, but seem to be only finding 30 pin connector replacements. Am I doing something wrong? Can someone point me in right direction to find a replacement screen please. It's a 15.6" screen. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

HDMI port not working?
Hi guys,
The HDMI on my friends laptop appears to be faulty; Windows does not detect another display (we’ve tried multiple cables and displays). Also there are no sign of any signal on the external display.
We’ve gone into the display properties, and there is only a single display detected, I also uninstalled / reinstalled the GPU drivers just in case.
It’s not my laptop so I don’t know a lot about the history, apparently it’s one of six that we’re bought and is the only one that has this fault, unfortunately it’s out of warranty. I’m thinking it’s probably the HDMI port, but wondered if there might be a setting in the BIOS to enable / disable the HDMI port?
I’d be grateful for any suggestions you may have.

Touch pad scrolling issue
Hello, I have issue with the touch pad scrolling following the latest windows 10 update. Since first upgrade from windows 7 OS, which came preloaded with the laptop, every time I update, I have to go to -->Device manager-->mouse and pointing device and roll back the driver. Yesterday I did the windows 10 update, as usual I rolled back the driver but no change. So I have to go to scroll bar and click and hold the mouse button. Or up/down keys.
I have so far numerous times deleted software and restatred laptop but no help.
I would appreciate any help.

Stylus pen compatible with HP x360 pavilion laptop
I am looking for a stylus pen that will be compatible with my HP x360 pavilion laptop notebook. The model number of the laptop is 13-s192nr and the serial number is 8CG54308YY. Can somebody please suggest me what smart stylus pen can I use for my laptop for writing on OneNote and other apps?
P.S. I tried buying the Bamboo Ink stylus pen but it is not supported.

Color Callibration doesn't work
The color display has always been skewed since I bought this laptop. I have calibrated it numerous times and nothing has ever changed. Multiple times I have printed out pictures (that I have edited on this computer) and they are way too contrasted and saturated. What other options do I have to fix the color calibration?

reading full hd video's
Hi.
I have problems with reading 1080p video's. I know that my computer don't have a fit resolution, but even when I plugg it to my full hd tv with an hdmi cable, my 1080p video's still don't work. I have a Intel HD 4000, core i5 3230M cpu, 2.6 GHz. I want to be able to do some video editing with my own video's, filming with a canon t4i in 1080p.
Do I have to buy a better computer for viewing full hd content and for editing projects, or there's something I can try with my probook, or even buy in support.

Screen not waking up when laptop does
Hello. Having an annoying problem and I wonder if anyone can help. When I close the lid of my Envy the laptop sleeps as normal. But when I lift it again to use, though the laptop starts (I can hear the sounds), the screen remains blank. It is most likely to happen when plugged in. Sometimes I have to shut the whole thing down.
I have tried a hard reset.
All drivers and bios are up to date.
I have connected to an external monitor and it displays fine on there even when it doesn't display on the laptop.
The laptop is out of warranty and I am concerned about cost. And I am not hugely knowledgable.
Any help would be received gratefully.

Brightness HotKey not working
I have bought a new laptop HP probook 450 G4 , Everything works fine, but one thing
i can change brightness of my screen by going on action center and settings, but cant do that by holding Fn key and f5 or f6 key which is used to increase or decrease the brightness, And all other HotKeys work fine i can incease or decrease volume by pessing Fn + f8 or f9 but not brightness.
Is there any solution to fix that?

HP ENVY SLEEKBOOK 6-1126sa SCREEN EDGE coming off
I have a hp envy sleekbook 6-1126sa laptop,which two years ago it fell of a table, damaging the left side hinge aswell as causing the bottom left hand side of the screen edge to come apart, enought to not beable to close it properly.
So i contacted hp and and after a web chat and phone call, it eventually got sent it away to them to be repaired.
Now two years on the screen edge on the same corner is coming away again, but it hasn't been dropped or any thing as the hinges is intaked, however i can click the screen frame back on and it stays on till i go to open the laptop up again and it starts to come apart.
So i was just wondering if there was a way i could fix it myself, being that i am studying for my first IT Certification, without sending it away to HP or taking it apart, as i managed to find when i googled the issue, that one guy had got some sugru mouldable glue. does anyone know if this will fix the issue, as i have also noticed that this issue seems to be a very come problem with most hp laptops, from what i have seem in the hp forums on this subject, which makes me wonder if hp know about it or not

i just purchased hp au003tx after a week i was watching movie and the display blinked once i thought it didnt but few seconds later it blinked 3-4 times why does it blink? should i need to worry ?

Can't Find Settings option in synaptics properties
Hello
I have a new laptop - and for reasons unknown , someone has decided to disable single-fingerright-hand trackpad scrolling... and there doesn't seem to be any way of getting it back.
I've tried going to settings > touchpad > additional settings > clickpad tab... but this only has a "disable" button, and a button that takes you back to windows settings.
The google answers for this question have lots of options under this tab - but not this version.
The Synaptics SMbus Click Pad driver version is 19.3.8.22

Crack across the screen
I left my laptop on a desk over night and the next morning there was crack running from the top left of the screen to the bottom right. It did not fall and I definetly did not close it with extra force or anything like that. The touch screen on one side of the screen also stopped working. I looked this problem up and realized that many people faced the same problem. So will HP cover the costs or not? beacuse this was not 'accidental damage'

When close and open the lid screen remains black
When i close and reopen the lid the laptop shows black screen with all the lights on and processor working.
i have to force shutdown it always to use the laptop.
tried reinstalling the bios, all the drivers are up-to-date.
what should i do?
lid close action is on 'do nothing' in power settings .
please help irritated

Windows 10 - Display driver - wrong version gets automatically installed, display works with issues
I have an HP ENVY 15-j110nc Notebook with windows 10 (upgraded some time ago from the Windows 8 whith which the laptop initially came).
According to the information in "HP Support Assistant", there are no driver updates available.
However, every few days, windows seems to automatically overwrite the display driver with one that causes display issues: brightness is set to the maximum level, and it cannot be adjusted (neither using the designated Fn keys, nore from windows display settings.
In order to make it work again, I need to manually reinstall the working driver from nvidia (in case it matters, it's "sp71979.exe" ).
This issue has been going on for several months now...
Anybody knowsif there is any fix to this problem ?

Touchscreen has disappeared from Device Manager
Have had loads of problems following a Windows 10 update. Now the touchscreen no longer works and I've checked the Device Manager and the HD Compliant Touchscreen is not there. Any ideas how I can get this back?

Touch Screen Not Working at all
Hi,
I am using HP pavilion x360 laptop with Windows 10 Single language insider version. The laptop has a touchScreen which use to work fine previously. Before few days I was trying to update my Intel(R) HD Graphics 520. I ended up with loosing TouchScreen Driver from the PC completely.
I done troubleshoot which ended up in finding PC at good condition and couldn't help me. I followed every step from this blog: HP Forum.
1. It said to varify if the laptop has a Touch Screen. Yes it has, because I have used it for last 1 year. But in Device specifications it says that "NO PEN AND TOUCH INPUT IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS DISPLAY."
2. It ask to ENABLE the HID-COMPLIENT TOUCH SCREEN from DEVICE MANAGER but I am not able to find this option in my Human interface devices. Previously, trying few steps from other blog I found it in hidden devices, that blog asked to uninstall it and restart the computer which will install the driver again automatically. But that didn't work out and it got removed completely.
3. WINDOWS UPDATES and HP DRIVER UPDATES are done completely and no new updates are present.
4. There is no Tablet PC Settings option available in the laptop according to Cortana.
5. HARD RESET is also done but that also didn't help in anyway. Battery of the laptop can't be removed so the prescribed steps were followed but that even didn't help.
6. BIOS updates were installed. It didn't help so I installed new BIOS driver from the HP website available for this laptop. Even that didn't help me out.
7. The HP PC UEFI Hardware Diagnostics Component test (F2) didn't even have the TouchScreen Option available to test the touchscreen.
8. I had Windows 10 single language and then I updated it to Insider version installing everything again. I installed every driver again from the HP website. But nothing worked out for me.
Please Suggest me something which can be done to resolve this issue. I am tied up with my busy college schedules to go to any service center in the city far from the college.

DEFECTIVE SCREEN
I was captivated by the beauty of this notebook and bought one on August 12, 2017. I proudly set it up at work last week for personal use and was on a Skype call yesterday when the screen started flickering. I assumed it was a problem with Skype, but i was wrong. Again i turned it on this afternoon to do some reading, and the screen went berserk for about a minute.
Please note that there is no single crack on the screen, not even a scratch or dent.
Any advice on what could be done? This is even more worrisome as i will not be back in the country until the Christmas holidays.
