So I just know apparently a laptop that have microsoft system settings pen(not wacom digitizers pen) cant have pressure sensivity level works on design apps such as Photoshop.
Did anyone ever tried another pen that the pressure level could working? I dont really know if another brand has a microsoft pen type. Thank you
Our laptop accidentally took an elbow to it a few days ago. It was closed, but the touch screen is cracked and no longer works as a touch screen. I am trying to find someplace to take it in and get it repaired. I love this laptop! It has had no issues or problems since we bought it a few years back and I'd hate to buy a new one. It's so expensive!!
The screen flickers to a black screen for .5 seconds, then back to normal, sometimes few times in a row. Does it when I watch a YouTube video as I go to full screen and exit of full screen not while watching videos. Using working HDMI plugged into my GTX 970. Bought the monitor few days ago.

I'm currently using my "BP937AA" HP Display Port (D++) to HDMI Adapter to connect my HP workstation laptop to my home theater system. I was wondering if anyone can confirm whether or not this adapter is Passive (no latency/processing) or Active (processes/converts signal and adds latency). I'm also using my laptop to play games with this adapter (to a HDTV) and of course every frame and millisecond counts in competitive gaming. I know Display Port is backwards compatible with HDMI, but I'd like to know if this specific adapter is truly passive. Thank you!

My laptops keypad exactly one row have stopped working. the warranty is over. I bought it last july 2016. exactly after a year and a month its malfunctioning. I didnt get an extended warranty. what should i do. really dis appointing. bought it for $450+ bucks
I'm on my second Spectre X360. The first had multiple issues and after weeks of tech-support horrors, they finally replaced it. After a couple months with the new one, I'm havint a bunch of problems again. Some the same as the old one, one new one.
1) It gets very hot. I can't believe this is normal for such a nice laptop, but this is the second one... As I'm typing this, I have nothing but a couple chrome tabs open. I set my video card preference to use integrated graphics, and I have uninstalled as many background processes as possible. My processor usage is at 4%. I can't understand why it's uncomfortably hot!
2) An issue that this unit has which the old one didn't is that the screen glitches and flickers. It's most often the bottom half and it's fairly rare, but once in a while it just glitches and flashes. It reminds me of watching a movie on a VCR. 3) random windows that are open behind the one I am working in pop in front. I wonder if maybe it's a problem in the touch screen where it's registering a click??
4) two finger scrolling is very unresponsive.
Anyway, this thing is a dud. It seems unlikely that I got two duds in a row, so I think it's just that HPs top of the line, premium laptop is a piece of junk.
I don't know if I have it in me to suffer through hours more of tech support. Hoping maybe someone here has solutions for the heat and glitchy screen. I wish I could just return the laptop. I'm starting a PhD program next week and I'm debating just biting the bullet and buying a new laptop, but I really can't afford it. I wish I could just send it backor trade it for a different model. I don't see the point in trying to exchange it again since this is the second one to have lots of problems.
Strange video issue in lower left corned of the screen. The artifact on the screen is present during POST before the OS loads. My first thought is hardware.
There is a flicker to the area also.
Just looking for some guidance or a solution.

I want to product tester hp laptops
I have HP Envy x360 convertible. There is an issue with my notebook display. There are yellow spots on the entire screen. It started with top left and right corners of the screen and with the passage of the time it is getting worse. These spots are more noticeable when the screen is black. I spent a lot of money on this laptop and it is annoying to see such issue on the laptop that was purchased few months ago. Please kindly let me know is it possible to fix this issue as my device is still under warranty.

I have been trying to hook my hp pavilion 15-cc060wm windows 10 laptop to TCL TV via HDMI. I plug it in and it shows up in the display on the laptops [ 1 ] [ 2 ] , but the tv says no signal. I know it's on the right video input, and even the audio will switch to DTV but cannot hear anything, so I switch it back to internal speakers.
I have tried the TV on different computers and it works fine. And have tried the laptop on different TV's with the same result. No Signal.
I have gone through the HP Assistant and updated. I am wondering what is going on and how I can get it work. Please advice.

In the midst of working on my laptop -- several standard programs running -- the entire screen went black, essentially lost all data I was working on. no sound, no warning except I had noticed some display flashes after latest bios update (dated 8/6). system appeared to be a brick.
Don't know of any connection, but my cell phone & wireless mouse were near computer at the time. There was no overheating, the fans weren't running, I wasn't doing anything that I don't do every day.
I closed laptop, waited about one minute then powered up again. Everything started normally & is now working as expected. There are no suggested updates for my system. BUT I want to avoid the experience again.
