The problem is my hp laptop screen/monitor is broken but still working well except touch. I am not sure whether the main monitor or glass protector is broken? can you help me. thanks.

Nvidia gtx impossible to find in device manager(no nvidia control panel too)
I bought yesterday a hp omen 15 notebook and saw today that there is no sign of the nvidia gtx 1050 TI that should be in the Notebook. The notebook just uses the intel GPU. no nvidia control panel and its not even listet in the device manager.
I am not a notebook expert so i dont know what to do:/

Replace Cracked Glass/Screen
I cracked the glass on my screen and need to replace it. The display works fine. I can't find any replacement parts or help on the web. HP will provide the service at their service center but I want to consider doing it myself first. I can't find the part. Any help?

Cracked Screen on HP Spectre 360X
Hi, I opened my HP Spectre 360X laptop this morning and found a crack starting just to the right of the camera hole and travelling in a V shape from the top of the screen down to the lower portion of both sides of the frame. I have never dropped or impacted this laptop. I see many, many complaints in this forum of similar experiences. This seems to be an inherent problem with this model laptop. How can we get this resolved?

lag during gaming for 4-5 seconds
While playing high end games like Battlefield 1 , i find lag for just 4-5 seconds occasionally.....
Suddenly fan sound from my laptop increases..
I'm finding this problem after 6-7 months of purchase.
Specifications----1)Nvidia Geforce Gtx 940MX 2gb
2)i5 7th gen
3)8gb RAM

HP Envy x360 (15t-w100) Will not Auto-rotate
Auto-rotate on my one-year old (exactly) HP Envy X360 is not working. I noticed that the "HID Sensor Collection V2" device has an error saying that "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling that device driver (and rebooting). I've checked the setting in Services for Sensors and they match that of my HP Spectre x360 that works just fine. I've checked the registry settings under \HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AutoRotation and set both SensorPresent and Enable to "1". Still does not work. Under Settings/Display, "Lock rotation of this display" is set to "On" and is grayed out so I cannot change it. I've tried putting it into tent mode, setting it as a Tablet, then putting the screen into Portrait Mode manually, and then restarting the machine from scratch. After restarting, it simply comes back up in the mode I left it in, but does not activate the Auto-Rotation mode on cause the grayed out option to activate.
It seems like the Sensors are just not visible to the Windows drivers. I've upgraded the bios to the latest from the HP site and checked for any other available software/firmware that might affect this problem. I did read somewhere that there might be some special firmware package that is only available from HP Support if requested.

Sticking Keyboard Characters
THERE WAS NOT A BOARD FOR MY EXACT ISSUE
Not actually "sticking keys" but certain keys don't depress enough and therefore I always have to go back to insert the correct character. I have already gone to the Settings section for devices and have adjusted the depression and wait times for a character to appear. I have had this problem since I bought this computer (the character "m" just now didn't depress enough to appear in this note.) M, N and a few others give me problems. I HATE this keyboard. Also, now the lid is very hard to open - closes OK - just happened as I was trying to turn over the laptop to find my model # No sticker on bottom. When I was trying to close it while holding it upside down I guess that's when it happened. Caveat: No sticker on bottom of laptop. Bad News....Warranty expired 2 days ago.

flickering screen when browsing internet
hello
my laptop screen is flickering when I scroll up or down using the internet browsers, esp if there is GIF in the webpages,
the whole screen will flicker such as party lights, or blow-up
all drivers are updated
all browsers are re-installed
MS-Office sometimes flickers also
any suggestions?

HP Stream 11 x360 Touchscreen Stopped Working After Windows 10 Clean Install
I have an HP Stream x360 - 11-p015wm, pretty much stock. No hardware upgrades.
I bought this with a broken screen and digitizer, I replaced it with a new one and everything worked fine. I was running windows 8.1 64. The touch screen functioned just as it should with no issues. I decided to run a clean install of windows 10 home, and wiped out the partitions. Once windows 10 was finished, i noticed that I could not use the touch screen any longer. I literally got through the start up with cortana and using Tab key and enter... Once windows 10 completed i did the windows updates and that did nothing to bring back the touch screen feature. I went to HP's website to look for any drivers for windows 10, there were none for that particular function, so I looked at the windows 8.1 drivers and again no drivers I needed. I started looking through the settings and pen in touch was not active, I went into device manager under human interface to locate the touch screen driver to see if maybe it was disabled, but there was no such driver installed under human interface. I searched start menue for any kind of touch or tablet pc setting but nothing came up. This pc did not even recognize that there is even a touch screen feature. I then started to scour the internet to see if maybe there was a 3rd party driver available and again led me nowhere. I went to microsoft website to see if there maybe an update for this, i saw a bunch of people with the same problem but no one had a solution. so i went back and searched for more updates and drivers from microsoft, HP, windows, etc.... I tried rebooting, I tried looking in bios to see if there would possibly be a function to enable but nothing... HOWEVER... When I was in the bios settings I noticed that my touchscreen WAS WORKING...!!!! I was very excited, but that was short lived. When I rebooted back into windows, the touchscreen stopped working again. so I went back into bios and sure enough the touchscreen was working. There are no settings in windows that allows me to turn anything on or off enable or disable, instal, or uninstall. What can I do to fix this to work in windows not just the bios. Keep in mind for anyone responding THERE IS NOTHING IN SETTINGS IVE TRIED THEM ALL.... I thank anyone and everyone who has taken the time to read this, and any help is appreciated...!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Screen problems with brand new spectre
I have the same situation with the same model Laptop. I too am on my second new spectre and I am still experiencing display sync lose problems. All the drivers are updated. I've taken a video of the issue but don't see a way to post it. Since this is a second laptop with the same problem I find it unlikely to be a hardware problem. I have not seen the display issue happen while in the BIOS but I don't think that is conclusive.
Support seems to be clueless.
So the question is: Do I return the laptop and give up, or should I hold out hope for a fix?

Has anyone played the original LUXOR game (not LUXOR 3) in windows 10 full screen?
I am not able to play LUXOR in full screen in Windows 10 on my new HP notebook; my desktop computer, with windows 10 has no problem in full screen. HP support has not been able to solve my problem. Also this game LUXOR is no longer supported by the game designers that created it. Any ideas?

Intel HD graphics driver missing in my Hp Elitebook 8460p Device manager
I've been having an issue with my hp elitebook 8460p video graphics. According to information i had prior to purchasing this notebook, the notebook generally comes with a default switchable intel HD3000/AMD radeon video graphics. But that's different from what i saw in my own. I can only see AMD Radeon graphics on the device manager's display adapter. The Intel HD graphics driver is missing. Is it possible to install additional Intel HD graphics driver. Has anyone done it without any complication. Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

So apparently I have windows ink softwares on my computer so I bought a bamboo ink stylus that has the windows ink support and everything works on the stylus except the touchscreen part.

screen issues
I've had this laptop for about a month and about 3 days ago while I was on netflix I noticed the screen changes from normal to dulled down colors every couple seconds. This doesn't happen while I'm on youtube or anything else, just on netflix I have this issue. Can someone tell me how to stop this?

Video and Sound Issue HP Envy x360
To start, I really love this computer. I like the speed and how quickly I can get from one page to another.
THe video is great when it works...however, I run into a slight issue with this.
I can start a video, lets say a movie. I can watch about an hour and 45 min of a movie and then either a playback issue will occur or the screen will just freeze on one picture. I can restart my entire computer and it works well again.
or
If I pause a movie and let me computer go to sleep. The video will not start back up again. I have tried closing the browser and going back in, but no website will play video or sound after the computer has gone to sleep. I have to restart my computer everytime this issue occurs.
I have only had this computer for a couple months and would like to think this is an issue that could be fixed pretty easily with a little support from HP.

Edit: I have also updated all of my drivers.
Edit #2 - I noticed when I am using Microsoft Edge I have my Adobe Flash Player turned on, but the Adobe site says my Flash is disabled. This may have something to do with it. Please Help if this is the issue.

Monitor Resolution Issues
I've recently had some monitor resolution issues going on, My HP LE2201w has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600, but when i crank the resolution up to anything higher than 1680 x 1050 i get a message saying, 'input signal out of range | Change settings to 1680 x 1050, when i got in to my monitor settings it says that the recommended is 1680 x 1050 and that its the default setting.. how do i change it to the resolution i want, because i know that my monitor is fully capable of attaining that resolution since when i boot it in safe mode it goes all the way to the top.. can anybody help, thanks.
