Resolution from External Screen and Back to Laptop is WRONG

After deconnection of a external Screen by the HDMI the Resolution of the Laptops Screen is not correct.

 

Program windows get either Big or Small !

 

What to do ?

hi am using HP Au023cl i5 touch laptop. for the past two weeks my touch screen is not working . i found in HID that  human touch interface is missing then i cliked -> View ->show hidden devices. then i found a list in HID in that list "human touch" was available but the fornts were faded, then i  have tried to  uninstall from device manager HID human touch interface.. but iam unable to see it afer words , kindly help me to sort out this issue and to make the touch screen workagain

Hi i had a little problem and im confused
My laptop model is hp15 r007tx and it has so many bugs recently i had formated my whole laptop including c drive and installed os windows 10 so there are no drives .so, i want u to help me to find out 1. Display drivers, 2. Intel graphics drivers , i dont know which series of drivers i have to install. And a huge problem with this series of laptop is wifi connection it cannot connect any other wifi which are free so kindly help me to get rid of this peoblem

I have a HP 15-au018wm  and want to get a fine point stylus for my touchscreen.   Which type is compatible, the passive or active stylus?

Some sliders and scrollers automatically move to max or min when cursor hits them and won't adjust

Some scrollers like when I pull up the startup menu will automatically move to the bottom or the volume control will automatically max out and they may or may not momentarily adjust with the touchpad or mouse but then immediately return to the max or min value.  This also happens with some sliders and scrollers in the edge browser windows.  No error messages.  I have installed all updates and the latest drivers and restarted with no success.  No error messages or errors detected when running any of the diagnstics.  Thanks for your help.

I purchased two laptops for my kids for Christmas 2015.  One of the laptop screens has recently turned pink and has white/green vertical lines down the screen.  I did some research on the web and found that the issue could be either a hardware or driver problem.  I called HP customer support and had the ABSOLUTE worst experience trying to get to the bottom of the problem.  After a long time on hold, the first agent could not find my laptop with the serial number I provided – I was reading it directly off the bottom of the laptop.  He replaced the ‘B’ in the number and got a totally wrong model…ugh!  After getting past all of the back and forth – he said it was likely a hardware problem and since my laptop was out of warranty, I would need to be transferred to the “out of warranty” department to discuss my options. He attempted to transfer me and the call was dropped!!!  I called back and waited again; the second agent had me go to the bios screen and since there were no lines there, he said it was a software/driver issue and if I paid $59.99 he would get someone on the line to fix that for me.  I gave my credit card number and he said it was declined twice so I gave him a different card – as a side note, after checking with my credit cards, I had three charge authorizations for $59.99 that I have yet to be corrected!!!  He transferred me to a third agent who was actually pretty good.  He remoted in and saw no line on his session, then he had me go to the bios screen and I did not see lines (just like the second agent).  He then had me adjust the screen by closing the lid slightly and the lines appeared again.  He diagnosed the issue as a hardware problem and quoted me $300 for a screen replacement.  I didn’t want to do that since the laptop wasn’t worth that.  I asked if I would get a refund of the $59.99 and he said that the charge was for diagnostics.  If the second agent would have explained that, I would not have had a problem but he assured me that the issue was software and that it would be resolved.  I spent three hours on the phone trying to get it resolved and if the first agent would have just told me that it would have been $300 for a screen replacement then I would have dropped it there…

 

I asked for a refund and spoke with the rudest customer service rep!  I will never buy HP again!!!

Hp Notebook 15-ay010nx brightness control not working with windows 7

Hi,

I installed windows 7 64-bit in my HP Notebook 15-ay010nx but the brightness controll is not working.  With windows 10 it was fine. I installed both display drivers but still the issue is not resolve. Please help. Thanks.

Hello,

 

I recently purchased the HP Pavillion Wave Desktop 600-a001tla bundle which included two  HP 23er IPS LED Full HD Backlit Monitors. I cant find a way to conect both monitors to the cpu.  Can you please tell me how can i  connect them?

screen brightness washed out when unplugged

The brightness of my screen is fine when the charger is plugged in, it's on full brightness and appears normally. However, when I unplug my charger the brightness changes and becomes washed out/over exposed even though the brightness is still at the same level as when plugged in.

HP TrueVision webcam not working in most programs

Hi there,

 

my webcam has suddenly stopped working in most programs like Skype, VLC, or CyberLink YouCam 7 (the camera worked earlier properly). Still, the camera works in a simple program WebcamViewer V1.0 (it only translates the image to the screen). So apparently the hardware is not corrupted. I tried to reinstall the driver several times (it always remained the same, HP TrueVision HD from Microsoft, version 6.2.9200.16664 from 2006-06-21), I tried all the links from the HP site on how to troubleshoot your webcam, I tried HP hardware checks and HP support assistant checks, with no problems found in the system. When I start YouCam program it writes "YouCam cannot connect to your webcam..." although there is no other program interrupting (just after restart) and after that the WebcamViewer V1.0 can connect to the webcam.  Why one program can contact the camera and another cannot, and how to make it work normally again?

 

I would be very thankful for your help!

Salve a tutti,

mi chiamo Simone, avrei un problema con la OpenGL, quando avvio un applicazione di gioco mi esce questo messaggio: "Can't find the name of Intel ICD OpenGL driver".

 

Ho provato a reinstallare la scheda grafica, e leggere forum senza trovare una risoluzione o risposta che mi potesse aiutare.

 

Come scheda ho quella originale del pc Pavilion i7-ab011nl e dovrebbe essere la  "intel HD Graphics 530"  con versione driver installato 21.20.16.4627.

 

Sapreste dirmi come posso risolvere il problema di questa OpenGL?
