Why is it not possible to use the lastest driver given by amd website ..I have hp pavillion g6 2136tx that has 7670 m graphics card...it works fine with the driver provided by hp servers according to the model number?
If it were possible to use the graphics card driver provided by amd itself...I hope we might have performance upgrades because of their latest updates...

I bought a HP Spectre 360 a month ago and realized that it only has 2 USB-C connections and 1 USB-A 3.0 connection. I am currently trying to connect to a TV to watch video, but I ran into an issue. I bought a USB-A 3.0 to HDMI converted and tried connecting to a brand new Hisense LED TV, but after trying to duplicate screen from the PC, nothing happens. The device manager sees an "unknown USB device" but does nothing else.
I own an HP touchscren computer. They were designed poorly and that's why they crack. This is on HP. I sent mine in because it was still under warrantly when it cracked. They fixed it improperly and less than a year later it has cracked again and is unusable. Now they refuse to fix it.
I am going to complain to the BBB as well as see if a class action can be started.
This is ridiculous. If you make a faulty product you should replace it with one that is not.
For 2 months now I have been trying to figure what is wrong with my laptop. My touchscreen works fine while it is as a laptop, but as soon as I rotate the screen back and turn it into a tablet it all touch input ceases. This occurs as a standard desktop interface and the tablet interface.
I have uninstalled/Reinstalled drivers, I have downloaded drivers directly from HP, I have created another profile to see if it was profile specific, I have attempted re calibrate the screen, everything short of a clean install of the computer.
I am beginning to think it is a hardware issue?

My Laptop does not recognize any pens input. I have tried the HP Stylus, Wacom and now my Stylus from my Surface studio. All say they were connected via Bluetooth, but no response from the screen.
I have a new spectre x360 with the 4k display. When hooking up to my LG external monitor which supports and runs at 2560x1080 some apps scale down fine while others do not and the text gets garbled (specific example is putty as shell window). Qt based apps seem to have some issue where they dont event attempt to scale and just show up really large
I have searched around and played with different remedies/suggestions but no luck yet
Is there any OS level setting or some driver update that might remedy this situation? Or is my lower res monitor not suitable for the x360 and I should get a different monitor or return the x360 for equivalent machine that is plain HD vs the 4k?

So, throughout all the chaos of school starting up again, my laptop has unforunatly been damaged. I'm not exactly sure, but I am fairly certain my laptop is a HP Pavilion 17-f170nf.
I accidetnally left my screen on over a few nights - and now, the screen has some kind of burn effect. After the laptop has been turned off for awhile and turned on, a bar on the top appears that acts like a normal screen. However, below that, there is a thin line followed by a thick line. These lines are green when the screen is in a dark-area, and purple when it is in a white-area. Everything under that row has a green or purpler tint based on the color of the background. After awhile of use in these conditions, the screen starts to duplicate itself. Everything that is shown on the screen is shown again, semi-opaque, to the bottom right of the original picture.
This is a very strange form of screen burn - if it even is a screen burn. Is there anything that I can do to fix this by myself? I've tried using screen-burning solutions on youtube but nothing has worked.

Hi, my Pavilion g6 - 2264sa had a hinge problem which consequently damaged the Display Cable with markings R36LC010 / DDOR36LC010 / SMY3ASXW1D166. I have seen many display cables online but have not encountered with these exact markings. Does HP UK supply this cable please and if not is the cable compatable with the 2100 series or similar please? The notebook has been repaired and works great (withan external monitor) and we only need to replace the display cable now as at present the display is very very dark (can hardly read anything or see the mouse movment). After upgrading to Windows 10 my keyboard and touchpad still remains active in tent or stand mode, normally it should deactivates it to prevent key pressing in stand mode. Using Support Assistant installed all drivers but no success. Pls advise.
When I try to run Cura, the slicerprogram for Ultimaker 2 it complanes that I am missing openGl 2.0 .
I have run the HP Support Assistant, installed all the drivers. It doesn't help. I've tried the openGl-drivers for the intel hd graphics 615, but it wont install. It sais to use HP drivers.

I just bought this new laptop and am unable to use my fingers for touchscreen when in tablet mode. I'm forced to use the stylus that comes with it.
Is there any way I can change the setting so that I can use both fingers and stylus when in tablet mode?

i just bought an HP Elite X3 with dock, also bought the asus MB16AC monitor (USB C connect).
for a few seconds the screen works if i connect it to my X3, but screen goes blank.
if i connect via the dock it can't make connection and says load drivers.
any ideas?
