HP 14-an013nr 14-Inch Notebook displayed truncated on external monitor
I have a HP 14-an013nr 14-inche Notebook, and love it, great lil machine. I am trying to connect it to a monitor (to VGA output, OR to HDMI output), the left 1/5 of the screen is truncated on the monitor - looks fine on the laptop display. I've tried changing resolutions, the different display modes (copy, and extend), and both outputs. Tried different monitor calibrations, but none of those helped either. All of the help i've found online has been for nvidia fixes, but this system has a Radeon r2. I've ran out of ideas. Please help

Display glitch vertical invisible line led laptop
Hello everyone i need your help in some sort of issue that had appeared lately to my notebook
When i power up my laptop and start working , i find something like a glitch with a 1 single invisible vertical line shows up on the right of my display every time i bend or tap at the back of the screen , or it shows up sometimes just for seconds .
that line sometimes makes a picture or an icon cut and join the 2 pieces together , its like cutting a picture into 2 halfs and removing a piece from the middle and joining the rest together .

Brightness/Function Keys (F2/F3) no longer dim/brighten the screen
The brightness/Function Keys (F2/F3) were working fine. They no longer dim/brighten the screen. The slider graphic appears on the internal laptop display once the function keys are pressed and I the mouse pointer maybe used to adjust the slider (in addition to the function keys) but the screen will not brighten or dim.
I tried the brightness slider in power options. It doesn't do anything
I review the Intel 4600 Display Adapter - It appears to be the recommended driver.
I shut the laptop down, removed the AC, removed the battery, held the power button for 15 seconds, restarted, dim/bright function keys still not working.
All help is appreciated.

Get rid of top and bottom bars while streaming movies
How do I get rid of the bars on top and bottom while I am watching a streaming video.
DVD'S work great but not streaming video's. I would like the entire screen as if I am watching a DVD.

Number row and number row not working
All of a sudden my 1 2 3 4 7 8 9 and 0 buttons and the symbols don't work on the top row. The 1 and 4 button don't work on the number pad on the right side also the right arrow button doesn't work. Everything I have read says it needs to be updated. I have dug deep and tried to manually update the keyboard and that has not worked it says that it is up to date. I have also updated BIOS and that didn't work. I'm getting tired of having to use the on screen keyboard (although I'm glad it's there). Please Help!!

Best stylus/pen for HP Envy x360 13-y013cl
I bought this same model of HP convertible laptop about a month ago. HP Envy x360 13-y013cl
I was sold an HP Pne from Best Buy. The support staff there suspected, but didn't know, that this pen was not compatible.
I called HP sales. They insisted the HP Active Stylus is compatible. They sold me one, didn't work. They sent me another, it doesn't work.
This forum suggests that because this exact model of Envy is not in the "list," then the HP Active Stylus that HP Sales sold me is not compatible.
This is a brand new HP computer, with one of the few brand new smart pens/styli sold by HP, and your answer is "I'm sorry, your pen isn't compatible?"
I just spent more than 90 minutes on the phone with "HP Support," mostly on hold, once transferred to a number not in service, and then told to call the "Product Expert Team," (which I suspect is just "sales"). Of course, by now the sales office is closed, in spite of the support idiot insisting they are open to 8PM Mountain Time.
I'd like an executive of HP to identify exactly which pens are compatible with this new model of HP computer. And then send me one at his/her cost.

Touchscreen is registering lots of phantom presses
The laptop screen is registering lots of phantom finger presses - when looking at the screen, we can see the little "pool" effects as if someone has touched the screen. They generally seem to occur along a vertical line.
This effect seems to come and go - sometimes it's fine, other times it interferes a lot with web browsing.
We had thought that maybe it was malware but we've run several cleanup and malware searching tools (e.g. - Chrome Cleanup Tool, MalwareBytes, F-Secure Anti-Virus, CCleaner, WISE Registry Cleaner, SpyBot, EmsiSoft Malware) and nothing was found.
We use the Chrome browser and we've uninstalled/reinstalled this. Checked it for any unexpected extensions (there are none).
We've used Process Explorer (from Microsoft) to look at the active processed to see if we could identify anything unexpected but there is nothing obvious.
So, we're coming to the conclusion that this may be a screen fault. Can you advise if this could be the case or, if not, how we can troubleshoot this further?

Touch pad double click to enable/disable not working
I installed a new windows (7 64-bit instead of 32-bit) and I had a feature in my touch pad that allowed me to enable/disable it when I double tap on the upper left corner (small orange light would appear when it's disabled) but once I installed the new windows it doesn't work anymore. Should I install a certain driver or something?

Screen keeps rotating on Pavilion
I have a pavilion gbt-1a00 that came with windows 7 and has been upgraded to windows 10. It has a new mind of its own. A while ago when I turned it on the screen had rotated 180 degrees. Everything was upsided down. I ended up restoring it back to its original factory settings. This time it has rotated 90 degrees. Is there a fix other than starting all over again and what might be causing this.

Bright/Visible Spot on Screen
I recently bought this laptop and during first bootup only i saw a very bright spot (pixel sized) on black Screen besides HP logo during windows bootup (everytime).It always remains visible. It is also visible as a black dot as well as on white screen. Looking forward from a help from customer support in this issue.

HP OMEN LAPTOP use with second monitor
I connected a second monitor using an HDMI cable to extend my display I game on my laptop and use secondmonitor for YOU TUBE Channel. I'm experiencing framedrops now while gaming. Any suggestions? I was told my Graphics card NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1050 TI should be able to support a second monitor.
