You can add another to the very long list.

My laptop is about 2 months old, I opened it last week and screen is cracked on the left side...strange as it was fine the evening before and it had spent the night on my desk inside a case. It is now unusable as the cursor keeps dragging itself over to the cracked area.

I've been quoted £360 for a repair, which is very upsetting as I would not class this as user damage.

Everybody who saw my laptop would comment on how good it looked and I would always recommend it. Now I would discourage anybody from purchasing one, very disappointing.

I have a Pavilion p007nl, and a Dell Active Stylus.

The digitizer works flawlessly on programs such as OneNote and Photoshop, including pressure sensitivity (the harder I press the pen on the screen, the thicker the stroke)

However on other programs, such as Gimp or Krita, the pen behaves like a standard mouse. (note that those two pieces of software are supposed to support this feature, and Wacom users do not seem to have problems) The OS handles palm rejection and  right click when I press one of the buttons on the side of the pen, but there's no pressure sensitivity (it just goes from not pressed to fully pressed, like a mouse button) and the other button (the eraser) is not recognized

Hello,

 

I have a HP 15-bn070wm Laptop (Pentium N3710 / 4 GB Ram / Intel D Graphics 405 / Windows 10 with all the latest updates installed) and it seems to have an issue with the drivers that are installed not working correctly.  Despite updating the driver multiple times (HP sp78425 / Intel graphics drivers for the Braswell series processors), Windows 10 seems to consistently roll back to the old broken driver which results in the laptop's display to completely stop working.  I am able to bypass the issue by connecting an external display through the HDMI port so I can eliminate the old driver and reinstall the new one, but it's only a temporary fix for the problem. 

 

As you can probably guess, I am a little less than pleased with this issue.  As far as how long this issue has been going on, I can't give you an exact time frame.  The issue started problaby about 2-2 1/2 weeks ago, and because it's only used on a occassional basis I am unable to pinpoint exactly what updates may have triggered the intial issue (It also doesn't help that Windows 10 updates are now done as a service and I'm too lazy to take the steps to mitigate that issue).

I have recently bought a hp stream 14-ax000na laptop maybe 3/4 months ago. I've opened it and logged in fine. But then the screen goes black and all I can see is the cursor. Not a pro at these things and have googled a couple of things and tried them with nothing working. So this is my last resort in the hope this will help.

i have the hp envy X360

does HP have a stylus that they would perfer

me to use on it?.

or would any normal stylus work?.

I just got my 2nd monitor and have connected it, but both screens show the same thing. How can I move an open tab to one screen and use another tab on the other screen. When I move one over the other screen matches it.

Hello sir I'm using hp 15-ac120tx notebook with ×64 bit windows 7 OS. My problem is AMD r5 M330 driver doesn't install after downloading from hp support website and it show an error of missing driver . And same problem with Intel hd graphics driver is missing after installation.

@HPSupport Gooday HP, Please I mistakenly Cracked the screen of my Laptop, a HP 14TS by name, and I contacted my local technician but he said that they couldn't find a Screen compatible with it and I would need to ship one. I don't know if you could be able to maybe give me a description of the Screen+ Calibrator that the HP 14 TS uses or any compatible screen that would work.
At the time now, it displays fine but the crack is there and the screen is numb to touch.

Can I install a second TOUCHSCREEN monitor on my hp envy x360 m6 convertible laptop? And if so, can this monitor be setup with the hdmi port? Any suggestions on compatible brands (if at all possible)?

I updated the OS ie windows 10, and also uninstalled the McAfee antivirus. My screen switches off and on when I scroll using the touch pad after working normally for some time. When I restart the computer ıt goes back to normal and after some time it comes back. Please how can I resolve this issue.

Hi All

 

I'm connecting my HP Notebook model 15ba055sa to a Philips 32PFL5404H using an HDMI cable.

 

The TV works perfectly using any of the three HDMI sockets with a Triax TR112 digital TV receiver.

 

With the laptop, though, I get a perfect picture, HD or otherwise, for about 5 - 10 minutes, after which the screen goes completely bright green for about 2 seconds and then continues but with drastically poor colour. The sound is unaffected. It doesn't matter whether it is Netflix, Youtube or a DVD.

 

Things that immediately restore the picture:

 

(1) Unplugging and replugging the HDMI cable, and

(2) exiting back to windows and restarting the application (sometimes)

 

Things that made no difference:

 

(1) Using a different HDMI cable

(2) Using different sockets on the TV

(3) Experimenting with the display settings on the Notebook.

 
This has exhausted the things I can think of myself but before I take the notebook back to Currys, I thought I'd look through this HP Forum. However none of the many suggestions I have seen will work.

 

Maybe someone out there has seen a similar effect . . . I'll keep an eye out for any replies!

My hp laptop display flashes intermittently and sometimes it stays on for a while without displaying anything. Same thing happens if I connect to an external display. And when it doesn't show the screen freezes.
