Dual Monitor Output HP Elitebook 840
Hi there,
I have a VGA output on the left side as well as a DP on the right. Would you know if I am able to video out to 2 separate monitors?

Backlit Keyboard - Color Change?
I just ordered the HP OMEN 15-ce020ca Laptop. . And though I am super excited to get this beast home and try it out. . There is one thing I am wondering. . I've seen it with previous OMEN models that you can change the color of the Backlit keyboard, this is a huge selling point for me. . I love that feature. . But I am reading that it is not an option with this model?. . Is that true?, or is there still a way for me to go ahead an change the color?. .

Re: My HP Envy all-in-one touch screen won't stay disabled
Having exact same issue with all hardware and software scans showing no cause. After clicking "uninstall", waiting for problem to return, then "clicking "disable" the problem now only occurs when first starting up. But it's getting tougher to disable the touch screen due to lack of control over cursor when starting up. Anyoine have other suggestions?

Laptop display won't come up after AMD Graphics Driver update
I just purchased an HP Notebook, applied Windows 10 updates and transferred all of my apps and documents from my previous laptop. Everything was going well. Then I used iobit driver booster (an app I trust and have used for years on my computers) to identify any necessary driver updates. It identified and installed several with no issue. Then it installed an AMD video driver update and rebooted. Since then I've been unable to boot the laptop into windows. It will show the HP logo with the little "revolving dots" below it, then go to a blank screen with the same "revolving dots" and stays there indefinitely. Please help! Can I get to a system setup menu where I might be able to back out the previous update?

My lap screen colour changing and flashing
I am using Hp-ab214TX.After updating my lap it doesn't boot up I managed to solve booting problem,but my lap screen changes to green colour and it flickers with a flash

HP Envy 13 (2017) - Touchpad Snapping Sound With Light Touch NOT Sound Made from Clicking
I recently purchased the new HP ENVY 13 (2017 Model) and everything has been perfect so far except for the touchpad. Everytime I apply light pressure to the touchpad, it creates a snapping sound, that is not the sound made from a left or right click. I'm not sure if this a build quality issue and whether or not this is a one-of case, but any information regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated.

My brightness don't adjust, even though I can press buttons or adjustments, that does not work.
I can adjust and use the buttons, that are meant to adjust my brightness, but they do not do the work. I use them, but the actual brightness of computer does not change. Please help me. I have somehow 2 drivers for display. Amd, that does not let me use f2 and f3 to adjust brightness, and another called "microsoft basic display adapter". I tried everything that was previously adviced, but it doesn't work. Please help.

Looking for detailed and accurate specifications for the USB-C interface on my notebook. Specifically, I am trying to find out if it supports USB-C Alternate Mode Video Output, USB-C Power Delivery from a docking station and DisplayLink video.
I have seen conflicting responses on the forums and have yet to find any documentation listing the actual specifications for this, or any of the HP ENVY x360 - m6 models.
I purchased an HP Docking Station that was recommended by HP Sales team and it wasn't even recognized by my notebook, so I returned it and am looking at other options.

Display and VGA issues
Two days ago I detached the VGA cord from my laptop to take the laptop to another room to print, something I do often. When I reattached the VGA, I could only see the TV display. The display on the laptop went black. If the VGA is not attached, I do get a display on the laptop. consequently, I do not have displays on the tv and laptop at the same time when the VGA cord is connected, as I had priviously.

Unable to change or disable active pen's side buttons
I recently purchased an HP Active Stylus (specifically, this one) and I've found that no matter what I do, I cannot change or disable the functions of the buttons on the side of the pen (the black buttons).
Your site's own support pages say to run the HP Pen Control application... Which apparently was never installed on my computer (thanks for that, by the way), so I had to find and download the installer here on the forums (which wasn't easy, you know; frankly, I'm lucky to have even found it) and install the HP Pen Control app onto the computer. Surely I thought this would work.
It didn't. The application had absolutely no effect on my pen. It stayed as the default "right click select/select" for the top button and the "eraser" for the bottom button, no matter what I picked in the dropdown options.
Oh, and yes, I restarted my computer to see if that would fix it. It didn't.
And to end this on a tangently related note, there is extremely little pen troubleshooting help on the support pages. It was incredibly frustrating to look everywhere for something that didn't seem to be there, and frankly, I'm not particularly happy about the fact I had to sign up for your forums just to find help.

system showing incorrect dedicated graphic memory
i am using hp ab516tx model laptop which have 2gb nvidia 940m dedicated graphic card but in display property it showing only 128mb dedicated graphic memory.
in directx diagnostic tool, it is showing graphic card in vender. i chacked in diplay adapter property (device manager),it is showing both nvidia and intel. i have already updated the latest nvidia graphic card driver.

Need to utilize HP Warranty for HP E222 Monitor. Keep getting transferred all over
Hi There. I need some help.
I have an HP E222 23inch Monitor that is having some issues I'd like to take care of under warranty.
Every time I call into HP, I get transferred around to different groups until the call gets disconnected or I end up in international support. I've spent over 1 hour on the phone this morning trying to get simple support for this monitor with zero luck.
Just a heads up, I call into HP support multiple times a month for warranty repairs on HP Elite computers with zero issues.
Could anyone point me in the right direction here or get me connected with someone?

Invoking full screen for videos goes black. Sound ok
Video program (Sony Vegas Pro 10) works perfectly on 3 other HP Desktops, Windows 10 64 bit.
In my new Spectre 360 Laptop, invoking full screen playback screen goes black but audio plays ok.
No error message or clue.
