Can someone please help every so often my laptop freezing then makes this funny noise like a screetching. I am not good at how to work things technology wise so any help would be grateful.

Missing charger and original bill
I had given my laptop and charger at authorised service centre in Manipal, Karnataka before I left for a 3months visit to abroad. I ordered a recovery cd of windows and they did install it. Since I wasn't there to collect it my friend collected and they gave them just the laptop. Now as I'm back after 3 months they haven't given my charger and also my original bill they asked for. I have the warranty till oct '17. They aren't receiving my call and the number on google isn't valid.

Hello, i have my lcd screen cable (i hope i translated it right) damaged so i need to replace one. But i cant find a cable for this specific notebook model, so im guessing i can use cable compatible for different series and models. Two finger scroll down not working on touchpad on hp probook 470 g3
The two finger scrolling on my hp probook 470 g3 is not working, however the touchpad is still working. Under the mouse properties the two finger scrolling option is enabled. Any idea why it isn't working? What are some things I should try?

After system restore on my HP x360 convertible 11-p110nr, the touch screen does not work when in windows 10 home Version 10.0.15063 Build 15063
loaded HP diagnostic tool "sp78614" - F2 on boot
shows the touchscreen drag and drop and touch are working fine ... but when boot into windows will not work. has to be a driver somewhere
troubleshooting comes to a dead end when trying to "Verify the touchscreen driver is enabled" under human interface devices, there no "HID-compliant touch screen" listed.
please help.
everythign else works great on this machine and i really like its compactibilty, battery life and its really quick!

Pavilion 17 notebook to TV video connection
I have hooked notebook to bravia tv. worked perfect for months till yesterday. Now will only display wallpaper and task bar on TV regardless of what is on laptop display. TV no longer mirrors laptop image but does recieve an output from my 15 pin connection. Was it a recent Windows update or HP update or an inadvertant change in the output specs? Thank you to anyone who proposes a solution. Audio output is still OK.

HP Spectre screens goes black when touched
Hello! I recentely notcied that whenever I touch the screen of my HP laptop it goes black. If I touch the screen or mouse again it immedaitley comes back. I've only had this computer for a month and half and I have not noticied this problem before the last few days but I could have missed it before now. I always keep it in laptop mode and never switch to tablet. I checked my sleep settings but they are set normally to go to sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity. I can't figure out what might be causing this problem. Should I take it in to get fixed or is there a setting that is set incorrectly?

Unwanted zoom in screen display

My laptop screen remains black on "startup"?
2 weeks or more ago, my laptop suddenly stopped working.
I don't think I updated any softwares or drivers before this (I don't update my laptop a lot as it is), but a few days before it stopped completely, it was having problems starting up. At first, the screen would remain black for a few minutes before showing the HP startup/loading screen that comes just before the lock screen on my HP Pavilion 15 Notebook laptop. But now, it doesn't show the startup screen at all, and just remains black (the screen) and mostly silent.
At the moment, the removable battery is attached but no AC adapter is plugged in. It won't turn on like this. If I plug in the AC adapter but keep in the battery, it'll turn on. When I mange to turn it on however, it stays black for awhile and remains very quiet (I can't hear any whirring noises within the computer, but I hear a fan on), then suddenly turns off after 20 minutes or so as if the battery died.
I don't clean out my fans, my battery life doesn't last very long, I have no antivirus protector anymore (it expired a few months ago), and I don't update Windows regularly. I've had the laptop since 2013 or 2014, and it's had problems in the past. Small things like lights on the keyboard not working, to freezing/locking up while I'm using the PC and overruning things on the Task Manager (I fixed that issue though, it was the most recent).
So, I don't know what to do. I've tried troubleshooting from this document but nothing has worked so far. Can anyone help me? It'd be much appreciated, as school starts on the 18th for me and I need my laptop to work before then (buying a new laptop is not an affordable option right now, although I might be able to take it to BestBuy if I can't get help here).

HP 2311x not working with DVI to HDMI cable
I am having an issue with two HP 2311x monitors that do the same thing.
What doesn't work: Connecting a DVI to HDMI cable from a docking station to the HDMI port of the monior.
What works: Connecting a DVI to HDMI cable from a docking station to HDMI input of an A/B switch and connecting an HDMI to HDMI cable from the output of the A/B switch to the monitor.
The A/B switch eliminates the SCL (Pin 15), SDA (Pin 16), and Hot Plug Detect (Pin 19) signal.
Any idea what is going on?

I have known about PWM issues in many laptops( MS Surface pro,lenovo Yoga etc ) and I don't want to buy a laptop with this issue .

- Set laptop screen brightness something in the middle, like 30 or 40%.
- Set the camera shutter speed on the smartphone to the highest level, in my case the LG G4 has the highest value of 30 seconds
- Then decrease the shutter speed step by step until you see flickering on the camera (if it happens to happen). For the Vaio Z1, with a shutter speed of 1/8s nothing is noticeable, but at the next step 1/15s you already start noticing a little flickering depending on the colors being shown on the screen. At a speed of 1/125s the flickering is so high that you couldn't record a video comfortably. You don't need to take a picture, just open the camera application and point.
- Keep increasing the shutter speed until you notice flickering, up to the highest shutter speed. The LG G4 has a fastest shuttering speed of 1/6000 but you would need a lot of light to see anything.

Envy x360 PC has trouble playing media files
I bought an Envy x360 laptop earlier this year (Windows 10, 64-bit) and it is giving me trouble playing any media files on any player (WMP, SMPlayer, Groove, VLC), online or offline. It is fully updated and all software drivers are up to date. When I try to play a media file (video or audio), the player launches but doesn't play. When I try playing Youtube or any online videos on any browser (Firefox/Chrome/Edge), nothing happens. The video player loads and doesn't play. Shockwave player is always crashing even though it is also up to date. Skype calls I make freeze the moment they are picked up on the other side. The receiver of the call cannot see or hear me. There is also trouble with the action center. Often when I click on it, it doesn't respond.
With the Skype problem I learned that restarting my computer without closing Skype seems to help. The same thing works for media players. So every time I boot my computer and want to play a media file or make a Skype call, I have to restart after launching them. Sometimes, I have to restart more than once. This is a nuisance. I need media files to work without having to check and restart my PC every time. I need Skype to make calls without having to restart again and again.
I ran troubleshoot for these problems. Nothing. I ran a full antivirus scan. Still needs to restart for things to work.
I need help urgently because I have an online exam coming up that needs multimedia to play.

Active Pen doesnt respond
Reinstalled a fresh copy of windows 10 from a usb drive, made with the windows media creation tool from microsoft (Pen still worked before I reinstalled windows). Didnt backup drivers, so I downloaded all the drivers related to this computer on the HP Support site. Pen refuses to work, so im assuming that im missing a driver of sorts that wasnt listed on the support site. Otherwise I think that there is a way to "reset" the pen, and try to repair it to my computer.
If anyone would be able to shed some light to my situation, your help would be greatly appreciated.
