I have tried restore and repair (without deleting files and then deleting files) and no videos on any explorer (internet explorer and firefox) will play. They load but won't play. Sometimes the initial image pops up too. I'm going insane with this laptop. It hasn't even been a year.

So my laptop won't upload pictures anymore from my Canon EOS 1200D. This is what I do:
Import pictures from canon to my laptop -> Facebook -> Upload Photos -> Click folder where I import pictures -> Nothing shows.
My next attemp is:
Facebook -> Upload photos -> go to Canon folder -> go to folder where pictures are at -> nothing shows.
This is the first time my laptop is doing this, I even created a different windows account and try uploading in that account (different windows account but same laptop), but it would still not upload. My laptop usedt to be able to upload photos. When I try my parent's macbook, it works fine with theirs, it uploads pictures from my Canon just fine.

So when I turn my computer on, everything is normal and my mouse works fine. Once I log in, my mouse disappears and I am not able to use the mousepad at all (can't click, can't scroll, can't move mouse) so I am forced to use my PC as a touchscreen. How can I get the mouse back? I know the mousepad works because that is what I use to log in.

Hi, I have a HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC and I don't know why put I cant play any disks on it (DVD's, CD's, Games, ETC) and I have no idea why. This has been a issues for quite some time now and i have yet to find a solution.
Recently I have decided to look into getting a external DVD drive however I have never needed or used one before, so if anyone who uses one or has the same laptop as me and has faced a similar problem before, please let me know.
Can i even still use a external DVD drive even though my laptop has one buile in?
What is a good external DVD drive and will work on my laptop?
Where can i buy one in store or online? (I'm in Australia)
Since this is my first time using one I don't want to spend a ton of money on it so any that are what im looking for and isnt too expensive please.

I want to get iRacing which is a simulation racing game and I have everything I need for it except dedicated memory. It requires 1GB and I only have 128MB. I don't want to buy another laptop or buy a desktop computer to play this game. Is ther something I can do to allow more dedicated memory. I have tried going into the BIOS to find a way but I'm either looking in the wrong place or I'm going about getting to the BIOS the wrong way. I have a total of 1TB of RAM so I'm wondering if there's a way to add to my dedicated memory from using part of my RAM. Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance.

the pink tint is constantly on the screen, form start up to sut down.
when I startup the compter I see yellow spots in bottom of the screen. Also when the screen is black in movies or games ect.
Right side is bigger than left side. look like spots getting bigger.

I've a problem with my notebook. Yellow spots in the screen. I want to send an email with photo's to HP support. But I can't find an emailaddress.
I am working on the above HP Pavilion model and have replaced the CPU and have recovered the PC to working order with the exception of the labtop monitor. I can connect it to an external monitor and I have full functionality with the exception of the laptop monitor so therefore, the GPU is working properly. I have attempted to switch between monitors with the fn+f4 key combination but to no avail. The external monitor still is up and showing the desktop but the laptop monitor is still black. I tried the fn+f4 key combination and then hit the right arrow key three times. No avail. I held the windows key and pressed the 'p' key. With that combination, the PC will 'ping' but does not switch. I then switched out the laptop monitor with a different one. Same steps and same results. I don't think that I have two monitors that are bad so the problem, at least I believe, is somewhere or something else. Any direction you can give me would be greatly apprecieated.
I just purchased my HP laptop a week ago, and for the most part, it has been working amazingly. However every time I try and play my games I get huge fps lag spikes, dropping the fps from 60-100 down to about 10 for a few seconds. This happens very often, no matter what I change the settings to. I have tried deleting unnessecary files, closing everything else while playing, but it doesn't make a difference.
(games such as league of legends, other steam games)

For several months now, when I close the lid of my laptop (HP ENVY 14t-u000), particularly when it is plugged in with the AC adapter, the screen will remain blank and I am unable to do anything excpet power it down and back on which results in a very long startup. I have tried different power settings and sleep functions as well as updating the BIOS and graphics drivers but none of those options have worked. I hope someone has some suggestion for fixing this issue because it takes a lot of time away when I have to constantly manually restart my laptop.
I just got this convertible today. I'm really quite impressed with the build quality and the overall form factor. Not long after setting it up and not really doing a whole lot the bottom back left side of the box became quite hot. Not enough to burn my fingers, and I would call it more hot than warm. I did watch the video on overheating, it's not dirty and none of the other conditions applied. It was on a flat surface with nothing close to the vents. Do these things just run warm?
After only having it for a few hours I have just one small gripe about the design. I have the Ash Gray model and there is a ceiling light above the front part of my desk and in a brightly lit work environment that makes the keyboard not very readable unless I'm looking at it pretty much in directly straight down.
I am using the surface pro 4 pen with the lattest spectre 360 AC and i am noticing a delay in activation while drawing, it requires a minimum of force before the pen drawing occurs and this makes drawing really unpredictable
is there a tool to adjust the force required to start drawing?

I need help in setting up a repair order for my HP 15 due to my Laptop's left hinge disintegrating over the period of a few weeks. This problem with the Hinges falling apart has happened before, with the right hinge. Along with that, it seems a wire or cord that is connected to or through the problematic hinge has been severed and now heats up the affected area of my laptop to the point where I can no longer touch it. It is just the broken hinge area that heats up, no other area of the laptop gets hot.
I would just like to know what is going on and if possible to set up a repair order.
